I love reddit sometimes. You read this and you go.. sure. Then you scroll down and there's an entire thread saying Dolan himself admitted this study was wrong

I'm too busy worrying about how I view myself than how others view me. It's something I'm making progress on as in my experience, you're pretty invisible. People don't really care. But that might not be the universal experience.

No, I've mostly felt like I needed to achieve a certain level of masculinity to be accepted by myself. Or is that a bit too deep? 😂

It's not so much that they prefer somethig over threapy. It's that "just go to therapy" is a non-answer that's just meant to wave away whatever issues you have. What would be a women's equivalent? Maybe a guy saying "If you don't want to be cat called don't dress provocatively" kinda in a similar way interpreting the issue through one lens and then telling you "I don't care, fuck off".

I very rarely even see men in sales, business, HR, social services, professional development, etc etc ON the apps Mixed sex jobs tend to better then only female dominated ones. It's also I think one of the areas where you can be really lucky. If you're a nurse, you're likely to hang around male dominated healthcare fields and that helps it evens out. There's a stereotype here in the Netherlands it's the IT guy dating a Teacher girl. Male dominated vs female dominated. It's not entirely their own…

I'd rather let her signal she wants to be approach then me just doing it. That's safest. If she's looking for eye contact and gives more signals I go. Otherwise it's a no and I just pay attention to the bros.

This attitude was fairly prominent among French intellectuals in the 1970's. Foucault, Derrida and other well known critical-theorists signed a petition against age of consent laws in 1977. Yeah I think maybe the french still haven't completely transformed themselves. .

It being legal doesn't immediately mean it's normalized and that's where the difference lies. Sure I could go to a brothel or to Amsterdam or w/e but I don't. (Saying that as a dutch person). From what I've seen ad wise (and meme wise) here and there the dudes often wear sheisty's to make themselves unrecognizable. The stigma is still there.

Even lower testosterone is beneficial since it keeps men more stable. Quite the opposite. Low test dudes are more irritable, fatigued and weaker. Less likely to work hard, less likely to fight for things (not in the physical sense), less likely to comete or improve. It's not healthy, and a low T dude won't be a good worker bee. He'll just sit in his room, work for minimum wage and be net tax loss to society while he spends his time wanking off playing video games.

I believe for this reason that men should start with themselves and their own self awareness, and then reach out to each other to help themselves do better, instead of expecting the whole entire world to change so that they don't have to change at all. I agree with you in large part as I've also been a reader of therationalmale / illimitable men etc. at one time and did grew out of it. Purely by luck, or lack of giving a shit anymore. It's a self perpetuating problem. I had bad experiences with teachers when I was young because most teachers in primary school were women. So I didn't want to become a teacher. It's my own experience but I can imagine it's one that's a lot of men share. So because we have a bad experience with teachers, we don't want to become teachers. Which means less teachers that are men ... and more kids that grow up to be men that don't want to be teachers. Although, male teachers are more common at least …

There was a joke on Normacdonald Live that went something like A woman was selling her virginity online to the tune of 25.000 dollars. For 25.000 dollars you can have the worst sex of your life. found it, may have slightly misremembered, but gold still.

Looking at the fertiility numbers of the native population of most western countries no. Immigration often inflates that number. First you want get your ducks in a row which means year long degrees, working, somehow trying to afford a 400K+ house (at least here in NL). Getting into a relationship in the first place. Lots of people also wait a few years even after they're married. It's happening later and later. In the EU the average age to have children just raised from 28,8 to 29,7. I've heard …

What would be the answer to the first question? I think it's the same thing as dick pics. Every normal guy knows you're not gonna send women pictures of your salami but the kinda guy that would send a picture of his chorizo wasn't going to listen to anybody anyway. Lack/Death of third spaces means a lot of people have lost the opportunity to meet random people in a setting where dating is acceptable. And that also leads to a lot of people being not that good at it anymore either. It's probably also why there's much more discourse now about harassment at work, or in the gym or the grocery store. You're also now seeing people "sliding into the dms" which isn't entirely a bad thing but it means if you're not with-it social media wise you're SOL.

I don't think they can do that alone though. "Self made man" has been released in 2006 and in the 18 years that followed some things have gotten slightly better but a lot much, much worse. I don't think you can leave men alone on this for another 18 years.

Women tend to find men in their own age bracket more attractive than outside of it. I don't know how backed up with statistics that graph is that floats around on the internet. But it basically says that men find women less attractive as women age, always finding youthful beauty more important. Makes sense from an evolutionary standpoint. Whereas women always find men slightly older/younger than them attractive on said graph.

I don't think those dudes are looking for a faster buck per sé. But a lot of them maybe don't know quite when or if they need to push into that. Social media doesn't help with that, it makes people a bit scared. I think that leads to some men being more distant and platonic when they really shoudn't and some men trying to find that connection even though they should really stick to being platonic. Especially nowadays when a lot of people lack a proper third place.

that nevertheless don't revolve around self-hatred. I've noticed this on reddit quite often. Any postive male space either goes full redpill and then gets quarantined or it gets full self hatred and it pretty much kills any discussion. The lack of such positive spaces leads unaware men into sinkholes like Tate. Doesn't help that zoomer influencers (Adin Ross) fell for it too.

should work to be doing it genuinely So what, Stockholm Syndrome? You cannot fake love. And such a thing does not develop out of nothing -- or nowhere. It already exists, and flourishes. If you're not open to doing it for child x than you can't force yourself to do so. Again, I'm of the opinion that that damages the child more, and ends up giving it it a very warped sense of what a healthy relationship is. Just like parents "staying together for the kids" it ends up causing more damage than it p…

The worst thing you can do is bring a child into the world that you cannot take care of. And the second worst thing you can do is raise a child without love. The second is something you can't force any man to do -- lest you damage the child even more. Thus, what do you expect said "man" to do? Fake it? That always works out well for the child, gets a great concept of what a father figure means... The "step daddy" stereotype exists for a reason, and you don't want to give a child that experience.

“most guys wouldn’t actually go for the girls who look like the girls they jack off to in porn. It’s a double standard” Because they're not attractive. Porn is all about facades. It's not like if you stop using online dating apps you'll be single for your entire life. lol. I know a guy like that, he's about my age ~mid twenties. He just took a break. Stop using the apps, focus on his degree. I imagine once that's over he'll give dating in whatever form he so chooses another shot. I have way too much price too old -- but that might bite me in the ass too later on. As I'm also focussed on getting my degree. It is one of those cases where you'll find someone -- assuming you…

Black Flag was a good game because it wasn't an assassins creed game. The moment you get off the boat is when the game turns into the same boring mess the older games are. They should've made a pirate game by now, Rogue was close but i'd love a game like it without the whole assassin spin on it.

This is obviously some cherry picking from me but these are comments in this thread alone. It's whichever flavor of nightmare you decided to pull from the dumpster that is "men." in like 99.999% of cases. . and now most only offer porn/gaming addictions and male-centred sex (when their dick isn’t broken from masturbating constantly to porn). . This calls for men to take an active role in the relationship -- to be an emotional pillar, to do household chores, and to act in the interests of others.…

Social media hasn't made it easier to meet people in a genuine way, and I always find the dating apps more of a barrier than anything else. Maybe they're just rare? I find it's just more difficult to meet people genuinely -- especially women. But, that might be just me.

I don't believe so. There's many more voices on social media that flat out ignore -- or push down movements like this. See : Any drama involving Terry Crews. Talk about how men who lack a father figure in life have a severe setback? You're downplaying the role of single mothers. There's always some other group or some other issue that takes precedence. Black men especially, have trouble with embracing homosexuality going so far as to shame people like Terry for being a victim of sexual assault. …

They always seem to fall flat. Most men I know joke about each other’s height (manlet) and fitness but most of that is in jest. The moment any of us improves we mention that and encourage each other. Why does it then fall flat the moment it gets into public discourse? It never gians any traction. My best guess is that the platforms that often help amplify these voices (twitter) either consciously or subconsciously suppress these movements and ideas.

A lot of these men have to deal with the economic circumstances they grew up in, and it’s no surprise it takes longer and longer to get your shit together which leads to getting a girlfriend or boyfriend also taking longer and longer. The difference os that all of these things are things woman have control over and men don't. Sure, there's some unorthodox surgeries out there but the majority of men isn't going to get them. Of course they SHOULD. I'm not arguing that. I totally agree with you in that many men could benefit from a good therapist But you're acting like it's just a simple thing. It isn't a simple thing to admit you need it and actually go out and get it. It's that barrier that men need help with removing. It's easy to say "just go to your GP" or "go to this website". “Men are alone” isn’t a reason for not going to therapy and actualizing on one’s life guy. It is, it very much is. Going to therapy isn't easy. Why do you think interventions exist? People flee to gaming to eating to masturbating to anything to numb themselves to the misery they're in. I’ll completely ignore your “all men” tirade because it’s entirely dishonest. Video games aren't a hobby they're a waste of time. I have other passions and interests as well, but I don't talk about them on reddit, which is also a waste of time. I also live my own ISIS fantasy by playing airsoft and I work on my own cars, I like to cook as well ... which I thought was normal, but meeting some women that can't even make a simple dish... not so much. Having a hobby also gives your boring ass something to talk about".

Mine. I judge people by my own standards. I'm healthy pretty much, just a little bit in the lower weight range. I expect my partner to be roughly similar. Obviously, if she's fat out lifestyles won't match. If she's really fit then she might not "feel like" I'm putting as much work into the relationship as she is. If you have a list you're shallow.

You could reverse the genders in these posts and make the same exact point about women. What women men actually feel entitled to an attractive women with big tits women with 6 figures? If all I had to bring to the table Then you wouldn't be a good partner. Men would go "wow, she looks good I'd love to give it a try and see if we can form a connection". And then that would never happen. And it would be over. As opposed to the other way around "Oh, she doesn't take care of her body, I would never date someone like that" and nothing happens at all.

Male stereotypes still exist. Men are still expected to be their own rock. Although bro-love is becoming more of a thing. Which is great. But they still exist. Women don't have that problem. I have no issues being alone during corona. Because I've spent years alone. And it sucked. It sucks now, but I've had way worse. Maybe the source is simply "Oh now during corona you have it bad? I've been alone for the last decade, why do you deserve empathy?". Not even to speak of (some) women that then say…

Biological Clock. And the law of "risk" which I saw on a Vsauce video. Everyone says they're average but when it comes to risk they don't think average things will happen to them. Effectively downplaying the risk factor. So then it becomes really easy to rationalise to yourself to take that risk.

Men also desire a purpose in life. But instead of finding one a lot of them sit inside, masturbate, and play video games. They'd like to have a purpose. But they're content despite that. A lot of people would also desire to be healthy. But instead they eat like shit, are sedentary, overweight. And they're content with that. It's weird to sort of see a double standard here. If women are allowed to abort a child against the biological fathers wishes a man should have the option to "abort" the child financially. I'm not asking anyone. They're offering, they're pushing it on you. Which is I'm sure a problem with a lot of young men. They don't really know what to do, people around notice, especially family, who then offer the worst advice. And since some men don't have experience at all that's all they have to base their approach off of.

It takes a while for some men to learn that you don't ask the fish how to catch it. You ask the fisherman. (like that famous probably fake thread which a disgruntled woman made when her husband said that to his son) It's very logical for most men to arrive at the : "If women say x makes me attractive I must do X". And for most men that first women is often their moms, their sisters, friends. And that advice always tends to be wrong.

No. But any reasonable person shouldn't only have standards they hold their partner to but also ones they hold themselves to. I'm of the opinion that it's fair to hold a partner to the same standards you hold yourself to. So in that regard, if you start to lower yours don't be surprised your partner either does the same or they bail. It's not that you "owe" it to your partner as if they're entitled to such a thing but that you shouldn't be surprised at consequences of not doing so.

The real tough pill to swallow is that no matter how much average men improve they'll always be average. And if they aren't, they aren't average at all. You can't win. Men can't win either. Either we all as a group get better, after which women's standards just rise because the increase is the new norm, or we change, but then it's just you that's no longer average, and then you'd no longer settle for the "milsurp" women.

TRP crosses into the PUA space. I don't read the subreddit anymore (except for the sidebar) exactly because it's full of these "if she's a virgin..." Nonsense. From I've read on the blogs there are "conventions" they go to. Like the 21 convention. Which got into legal trouble for some reason but that's not the point. There are SOME TRP like meetings out there. But more often than not TRP is an individual strategy that gets you on the level where you can now befriend strong men.

It's a "we're all poor problem" Which still makes it selfish as hell to do so, if you know you cannot raise that child the way you would want. She should look at it objectively. That, raising a child in that environment and that condition is doing it more harm than good. I've seen articles everywhere about "women are having children at a later age" "marriages being postponed". Those women DO think objectively, they DO think what's best for the child. Having a kid in spite of that, behind the "backs" of all those women who wait until they have their ducks in a row.. is selfish. If you're a women like that and have no children yet, and y…

I'm not saying it's an excuse, I'm saying it's a valid reason. The burden of performance is heavy enough to carry alone as it is, and it makes sense 1/3 of men just don't have that emotional strength. Dying parents is different. You're prepared for that already at marriage age. My mother died recently and I got over that even before she passed away because I knew it was coming. Men don't have to take care in that way of anything. When suddenly your spouse takes ill many men can't handle that type of a burden. Becaude they've never had to. It's at a level.of emotion that many men don't operate at. Suddenly the dial shifts to a 9. It's easy to say ''well he wasn't going to die when I left him''. Taking care of a person in that situation is a huge burden and men just aren't up to that task. I know I wouldn't be. I see it's just as harsh for the husband to see their loved …

Women date near their income class or higher. Men date near their income class or lower. The cultural stereotype of the male breadwinner is still a thing. We need to earn more. Utilitarian value. Women now have a problem that when men on average start earning less the amount of men at the top shrinks. Now this wouldn't be an issue if both men and women would be willing to compromise. Is that going to happen? Who Knows.

Men's feeling when all the type of women that turned him down when he was in his early 20's working his ass off that now want a piece of his assets now that he has his shit together? Looking into their eyes and knowing that all they can see is an ATM. A limitless credit card. A caretaker for someone else's kid. I'm assuming that's the closest parallel. But no equivalent. I don't think any job is, assuming you carry yourself well. Yeah if you look like an IT nerd, the stereotype then yes. I think SMV it not so much about your job but everything around it. If you have an IT job but go to the gym 3 times a week, do jiu jitsu 2 times a week, like playing the piano and reading books... then it doesn't matter. But, if you're boring at best, and not very interesting. Having a bog standards IT job just might put you into "one of those guys" stereotype where they can alr…

RP advises you that you'd rather NOT marry. But if you do, it's RP on hard mode. They're not saying you marry shitty women. Just that if you do marry, be on top of your game. Yeah saying it's "porn addicted men" is ignoring many women who don't want to tell their SO because ???. Or they don't know how, they don't want to, don't care etc. Men and women would just be better off if they'd ask "hey, what turns YOU on". Communication is everything. Of course, if you're not able to communicate what you like you have a different problem.

Even a 5/10 could sleep with whomever she wants. But she can't make the guy stay. That's what a beautiful women probably can. A trp anecdote once talked about how this overweight women would have men over all the time, he even commented on how one of the dudes he met was a 7/10. That guy should have no trouble banging the girl he was, her room-mate. But I doubt that overweight women could trick any man into staying. We're the gatekeepers of commitment.

working smart and working hard are two different things, probably. I know many people right now who work "hard" but they're still working at some manual labour job that pays less than minimum wage. That's what I meant. It's very easy to work hard. But to find out where to direct that effort is not.

working hard is what you did generations ago to get ahead. Now working hard just gets you a minimum wage job and a fucked up back.

Maybe he's arguing that even high beta men realize the way the cookie crumbles and just hook women in on the promise of their commitment and resources just to dump them later on? TRP even sort of glorifies this as the "you earn 6 figures you have a nice lifestyle which you use to spin plates" kind of thing. Still doesn't change that you're manlet with no masculine facial features once so ever. Imagining you're some chad while in reality you're just maxing beta game.

Then that's perfect. I'd compare to it going out to eat at a nice restaurant once every month. The food tastes great and you had fun. It keeps you going until next month. As opposed to going to mcdonalds every week, feeling great when you eat it but totally empty after. I'd rather take the first option then.

Dependent on the quality of sex you do get. If I do feel wanted and desired by her when we do have it I'd go for the attractive option. If you get the deadbedrooms "starfish mode".... definitely NOT. Another factor would be affection shown in other ways. Again, if I do get that in other ways I wouldn't mind less frequent sex either. But if she's cold and distant.. Hell no. Basically quality > quantity.

Being stoic doesn't mean bottling up your emotions. Being stoic means being in control of them. I'm stoic. That's how I deal with my emotions. You won't see me cry, be angry or hold a grudge. Rather I internalize them and process them through music, excersice, reading, or even just saying "don't, this isn't rational". And that's exactly what Stoicism is about. I think that TRP has a certain viewpoint or perspective it draws its conclusions from. The bar scene, the club scene, even tinder to a degree. And that's filled with AWALT. am I supposed to divorce my wife because she doesn't want to see this guy as much as I do? I never said that. I said cut them our of your life if they're toxic. If that friend was constantly shitting on you for thinking the earth is flat. Cut him off. If your wife said "I don't want you to hang around with a flat-eather" than you'd have a point. Because then she's being toxic and oppressive. But she agrees to disagree and would rather just not hang around with him. Which is GOOD. If I were to be…

My point is that your happiness is to a degree a function of what friends and family think of you, and what friends and family think of you is to a degree a function of societal norms. Sure, some of your family/friends will be jealous/envious. There's nothing you can do about that. I disagree with some of my family about my choice of women, but I'm not cutting them out of my life over it. That already shows you already have good friends/family, and even if you date some younger women or you're a…

Society can think whatever the fuck it wants to think. Women like men with experience and who have it together. As long as you're both happy who cares? Who would you think be against such a thing? Apart from bitter aunts and mother-in-laws I can't think of anyone in my family who wouldn't be happy for me. Again, if I'm happy they're happy. If that's a barrier to someone they need to find better friends and say "fuck you" to their family. Because they're toxic.

I can believe it. I've read stories of men who either couldn't get it up due to PMO or went to masturbate rather than bang their SO. It can get that bad. (deadbedrooms subreddit) Imagine a guy who's probably been masturbating... day in, day out since he was IDK 14, that has a profound and lasting effect on you. It can be whatever you want it to be. I got paranoid when I was young and mainly stuck to masturbation/pov/ because It felt weird watching a dude railing a women. And I'm glad I did.

The initial thread made a mistake in just calling it "Stoicism" which can be both related to the philosophy(Marcus Aurelius and the like I really get inspired from) and being "Stoic" like a grandfather who doesn't talk about his time in the war and shows no outward emotions. I used to have a lot of trouble processing my emotions and had outbursts, but Stoicism taught me "That is not rational, you need to process this differently"

I don't know specific sources. It's all based on experience. Maybe watching comedians, comedy specials, other people like craig ferguson/Ewan Mcgregor,James mcavoy(as mentioned here) could help Learn by example and observation. Look at funny people and see what they do. Make your own spin on it. Every time I watch a talk show and see somebody tell a really good story I always make a mental note of how he tells it, how he carries himself etc. And try to implement some of it myself. Johnny Depp is a good example here. He can grow something, but no beard. Some men are just that way. I have to shave my mustache and chin area quite often and never shave the rest. Apart from the occasional hair. Nothing on the rest of my face. Nothing.

Taking care/supporting someone who's going trough cancer is a mental battle. You're struggling with them. It's a hit on your own personal health. Not everyone can do that especially at that stage of your life. As an example, Totalbiscuit a prominent youtuber has been struggling with Stage-4 colon cancer and he said that without his wife he wouldn't have made it. Exactly. I've even read on here some girls would reject men, and depending on how they took it they even gave them their number anyway! Because they took it so well. It might even give you some bonus points. Don't be that guy that gets angry, salty, follows the girl, calls her a whore/cunt/variant, and loses control. (incel/beta). I'd say that's more of a symptom that men aren't in control of them anymore. At this point she has already chosen you and the only thing you have to do is to show interest. If you notice it at all. To say women are always the choosers is wrong. Exceptions always exist. . But the majority tend to not take the initiative.

Is it common for 8 to 5 people to own animals? I'm saying this because I wouldn't want a dog or a cat completely alone in my house for 9 hours. That's not good for an animal. I've known dogs that would start eating furniture out of stress, or they'd bark for hours. Also i've seen a video of a couple men talking about guys and animals and one of them noted "There's no one for me anymore, i'm just gonna get a cat" That there's a hivemind where if you have a certain type of animal you've just given…

Lust is temporary love is forever :D. But in all seriousness, I'm somewhat in the middle. More red than blue. I think "men in demand" aka attractive men who are able to pump&dump a whole load of women want something that most people including men want in their life. Love, companionship, a family. I know that I will probably never find a women who will love me like I do her. I know that cheating and betrayal is something I have to expect. There is no unicorn. And I need to be cautious to commit n…

Those are men that never knew how much they're worth. They never did any of the chasing because they may have been introverted. Any women that at that point shows them ANY ounce of attention they'll go "oh wow, someone likes me OMG" and then that happens. My more cynical side thinks that those men might've gone for the less attractive option because he knows she won't cheat. Also, it might be that that girl was attractive but as soon as she secured his commitment, she just dropped every thing sh…

Realistically you have to make a choice... I think he should probably get that test, and make that test legal, then seperate, and have seperate custody over the kid. That's the best solution where at least the guy can move on, not get fucked by alimony, and not be cucked. Even if the guy wanted to leave he needs the results of the test to prove he's not the father. I think even then the court might say "well you took care of it for so long, pay up lol" Morally for the kid, you're right. But mora…

Partly agree, it is usually mismanagement. Which is sad, just the way it is. It's 4000 monthly starting assume you have a CS degree. At least over here. But of course that's a higher education diploma. Is it that expensive to switch careers in america? And do people even know? I doubt many a wallmart employee realises he/she can just do something else. In my country there's even a program you can enroll into as an adult to get a higher education diploma (something like CS). That I didn't even kn…

Yeah I can that. I'm not talking big numbers here though, they tend to get paid 40-50grand maybe. Which is fine, that's still quite a lot compared to some basis jobs. And it's just a cost cutting measure because the guy that's upholding the entire system is making sure nothing goes wrong, and therefore nothing goes wrong. This in IT creates a common problem, "why do we hire this guy, he does nothing?" until shits hit the fan and "omg this guy kept everything from going wrong"! And i'm not talkin…

I wouldn't call it fraud. They are very good programmers. That also means they're expensive. And the job market is cutthroat. There was an entire thread on r/programming I think where guys in IT talked about Indian programmers and their bad reputation. What would happen is IT mister with a good heart saw no harm in training what seemed like his new colleague in his company. What happened? He got fired and the company now had a programmer who is underpaid and now knows how the system works. Now m…

It's because she thought "A guy like him might want to be in a relationship with me?" and she figured one night of bad sex is nothing compared to the life he could give her. Again that first line was in the interview. She was I a bad place and couldn't fathom why a great famous guy like aziz would want her as his gf. So when that didn't happen, she got disappointed. Have I been used again? etc. It's when she cried assault. I don't think it was casual. Maybe for Aziz, but not for her.

I wonder how productivity is based on competitiveness. In IT especially how programmers would make themselves indispensable so they can't be fired. Multiple companies I worked/interned for always had a top dog who knew the most about the system. What's important to me is effort. All these women put in effort and they have a job. The important thing is that even if I were to earn enough money for the both of us I wouldn't want her to give up her job and become lazy as a result. Which is usually a judge of character. As long as you work, I don't care much what work it is. Be a slave to the system like all of us are. Not all of TRP is like that. I'm not like that. They would lose. Bad. Men have been the corpses for traditional war since the dawn of time. We're pretty good at it Women are fighting an actual gender war. But they're fighting it the way women are good at. Manipulation, covert-ness. They're doing it their way. Turn society against men. I've seen nothing but positivity from the Dutch MSM when it comes to the matriarchy. So why not. See how they handle the burdens we carry.

Effort spent on yourself. Didn't clarify that enough. It's like wearing fitted clothing, doing your hair. Whatever. Same level. And like I said, just don't overdo it. And what is that point? I don't know where the line is because i'm a guy. The point where you look like one of those youtube videos where a women transforms from a swamp donkey into what looks like a disney princess is probably too far yeah, but "no makeup" make-up is pretty much standard as far as I know.

Who are these people? On Reddit i read "make up is fine just don't overdo it" That's I'm assuming the majority of men's stance on it. If you don't overdo it it's just a part of physical maintenance. Unless it's a part of RP I somehow missed.... When they say "plastered" I'd doubt they mean people who don't overdo it.

Makeup is effort spent on yourself. That's isn't fake. Just overdo it. Don't look at what people say, look at what they do always holds true. And yes there's also men who've completely given up and are bitter because no-one gave them a chance. But those aren't the men women desire. Or they aren't the ones women meet. The type of man that has standards equal to women are the ones that can uphold these standards. These men are desired. And these men create the female pov. Maybe I explained it wrong. It's easier for most men to bang around and not have it bite him in the ass, then to marry and not have it bite him in the ass. There's A LOT more risk involved. it's easier to fuck up marriage and end up divorce raped / cucked / pussy whipped than it is to spin plates or whatever you want to do. I should've made that more clear so I'll edit my comment.

Being rich is all relative. As you said exactly in this comment. Yes some hamburger flipper in the US technically makes more money than someone in the Ukraine. It's just the hoes on tinder, bumble, okcupid can have these kinds of standards and also uphold them. Dating aps are so focussed on looks that game falls away. In any normal setting it doesn't matter how short or tall you are. if you're a bit chubby, if you're a bit thin. The thing that can overcome all that is game. Once you go down a pretty deep spiral it's really difficult to get out of it. Most of the things you keep saying to myself is "why bother?". You don't care much anymore. A small part of you does want help. One of the most difficult things to learn is discipline. Do it, even if you don't like it. I myself have almost none. I read mainstream subreddits like askmen, purplepill, menslib, askwomenadvice(not askwomen since it's cancer), even ex-red pill to see where people went wrong applying RP knowledge. Illimitable men. Rational Male. Black Label Logic. And more. One of these sites I believe was Rollo Tomassi(rational Male) once quoted Bruce Lee on the way you have to …

Oh then I'm sorry. I'll edit it to clarify more! My guess is that he felt depressed and just like me... Red pill was a revelation and suddenly everything made sense. And than all logic and rational thinking goes out the window in favour of awalt and all that bullshit. I was there at some point. I wouldn't want him to throw his life away based on some stupid ideology. And hope that that ultimatum would make him see reason.

Exactly. I agree.

I wouldn't know that. It's not depression -> rape. It's depression, desperation, red pill, revelation, and then because of red pill itself, it eventually leads to awful shit. It's more of a catalyst. Red pill was a refuge for me as well at some point. And I'm glad I grew slightly out of it.

I agree. It's poor. But like I said depression can make you do some terrible stuff. It's not an excuse but they were happy at some point. And I believe just like you said that via counseling and therapy it's a thing worth fighting for.

I get that. I'm just saying "most men" aren't old pedos. Women have to be paranoid from 14yo on out I get that. And they get way way more attention from men and creepers. In that way men and women are very opposite. As an average man you get no attention. And as an average women you get tons of unwanted attention. It sucks for both parties.

I always thought women show self doubt outwardly and men inwardly. I have a lot of self doubt. But on the outside, you won't see it at all. I think it's unfair to say men are better off because it's so more "obvious" women have it worse. Men get exceptionally good at hiding their emotions. As a man crying isn't allowed. Talking about your emotions isn't allowed. I don't think the old 45 year old pedo who's got nothing to lose anymore are good examples of "most men". I feel like there is a discon…

That's a common thing everyone keeps repeating on the internet. That when men kill themselves they usually succeed. Hanging. Jumping off buildings. Where as women will try.. and fail more. Pills...cutting etc. Though that might be another internet myth thrown around.

The irony of the minister of heath actually being very unhealthy is pretty funny. But if she does her job well and looks out for other people, i see no reason to worry. She might as well not give a single shit about her own health. To me the difference between booting and rooting for her is how ignorant she is of her own health. I've seen many a people who know what they're doing is bad, but they say "my life, my choice" and that's fine with me.

No I'm saying that American culture is a bit more casual towards hookups. Using tinder for instance. A lot more than some other western cultures. Coming from personal experience. Now I'm an average guy. So I might be completely out of touch on that too. I chose that flair because I like to browse a lot of "relationship/gender" subreddits. So I absorb knowledge like SpongeBob. Or at least I try to.

I'd say it's the boring average male (someone like me I'd suppose) would want a relationship more than sex... Well actually I want the personal connection part of sex. But an American guy(American because cultural difference) who knows how to pick up women will have that steady supply anyway so he won't care.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/17 09:25 PM

80/20 rule right? I'd say the average guy is a 6/7 and will never score a 6... Or a 7. Only a 5 or lower.

while neglecting girls that are less physically attractive yet amazing people The old "omg why aren't you married/have a girlfriend/still single" And then totally ignore him anyway. Works for both genders that.

Truly average men and women are probably one of the most beautiful out there. When women and men talk about average it's clouded by bias and circumstance. What might be average to a 6 out of 10 isn't the same as average to a 4 out of 10

It's pretty interesting because I see threads on askmen and similar subreddits on how some women hate that their SO stoic and would love for them to be emotional. But I've also read threads of guys trying to do this and the SO would break up with him. My guess is allow males to actually show emotions, even at a young age I lock it all inside, I don't have anyone I can comfortably share it with. Women usually do. Guy friends tend to not be comfortable with it. At least coming from personal experi…

Do you have any evidence that the demographic of men that use Tinder are significantly less attractive than the ones that abstain? I'm saying the exact opposite. all of my nerdy guy friends don't use Tinder. exactly my point :)

I see what you mean. It's a very dangerous job to be practicing with a lot of risks involved. What do you propose men.. or women I suppose .. should do then to get the physical contact and affection they crave? Jacking off or buying a tarzan rotator 3000 is going to feel just as empty. At least with an escort there's the human element. I could see what you mean if every person used an escort like a living fleshlight. I'd ask for a very personal "love" experience. It might be fake. But it'll work…

That's tinder though. It's already a small demographic. You won't see certain men on tinder. And you won't see certain women on it either.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/17 10:52 PM

Yes I agree. That buddy of mine has 1 pic. And that's it. I'm wanting to try tinder. I only have 1 picture I can use. But I plan to make more first, maybe in different places. Idk. Just to show me as a well rounded individual

huh, i'm glad i actually didn't really read the side bar then. I mostly read the blogs of the likes like Rollo Tomassi, illimitable men,and tried to form my own opinion based on their articles. Maybe it's wrong for me to feel most people who read the red pill aren't as zealous as the "AWALT, dread game, carousel" etc etc. people? I'm (maybe unjustly) assuming that a person who reads up on TRP knowledge follows their own way instead of blindly following the tenants these guys put up. I actually d…

Isn't this a strawman? I'm slightly red pill but don't believe in any of these. They might be "basic red pill" to some. But not to everyone. Again you're painting red pill people as one giant group with a single set of set morals. It would be like me saying every single feminist is like the one that screams "misogyny, rape, mainspaining, reeeE" over everything. But that's not true either. And again a post reaching the top of RP doesn't take much. There's 200.000 people on there (or way more), an…

My guess is OP needs to learn some abundance mentality. Just because my buddy who i objectively consider better than me in every way can probably get any women he wants, doesn't mean there aren't any left for me. Mr jawline just has an easy way in. If a women wants "100%" than that guy is an 80% while I might a 50%. I need to work for it but i can still get the same type of women he gets. Just not as easily.

No, i browse redpill, bluepill, here, asktrp...askmen..askwomen etc. It's more a thing of desperation. I had a mental breakdown and reading TRP blogs helped me on the path of self improvement. self-help subbreddits tend to just be shia style "JUST DO IT" which i consider useless... trp tends to be blunt. in a good way... and sometimes a bad way. Reading on trp , r/fitness about people and progress.. and how they achieve that progress really helped me out. Things like setting goals, anecdotes are…

I see what you mean. Sorta as motivation and social pressure like i said as well. Fine by me. I've had the same thing with RP, a buddy of mine made a tinder profile, a bad one(like 1 picture). and i keep bugging him about it and asking how it's going. I keep trying to drop TRP truths but he doesn't pick up on them.

I'm 21 and i'm in/was the same position. I at some point had a mental breakdown, and i was basically depressed for a couple weeks. That's when it hit me. I'm not there yet, but part of changing yourself is Introspection. I looked at myself and thought "what's wrong?" I identified my issues and wrote them down.. in a google keep note. That simple. I then started figuring out how to change all those things. Both physical, and mental. I started reading up on: The red pill subreddit/illimitablemen/r…

Redpill is nothing more than a theory on how women act/think and evidence based on that, from a male perspective. It's a set of tools If his daughter is taught about this process, she can manipulate it and turn it into her favour. You have to realise that people are on here for different goals and have different views. Some people use these tools for evil, some for good. If you feel that way you haven't been on here enough. Or it's confirmation bias.

I literally said I'm not looking to have a fight with atheists in my original post. There's your problem. Saying you don't want to argue = people are going to argue. If you'd just written down that you're religious i bet a ton of people wouldn't have commented. spoiler : its through purpose, and the only purpose is serving the purpose God wants you to serve. That is what pushed it over the edge for me. And i bet it did to a lot of atheists too. It wouldn't if it was written more personal, you're…

I feel like you're kinda looking up the confrontation. You're saying that atheists are always butthurt while writing an entire wad of text with religious...taunting in it, almost. Like you want atheiststs to come at you. Don't be surprised people are butthurt when you're constantly looking for confrontation. I'm an apathist myself. It's about the fact that they try to paint it off as something "empowering" that a women can do. And that as an outsider you should view them as "brave and strong" or whatever. I'm peferctly fine with fetishes. If you're a furry go ahead. If you like to dress up like a BDSM dog and chase a ball a women in leather throws around, sure. Just don't act like it's not a a fetish. Yes, that's exactly what i'm working on now. Just not giving a shit about other people and acting like i'm the man. It'll take a while but eventually my mind will come around too. I can still sometimes notice the socially akward tendancies i have and i try to push through them. Something as simple as going to someone to ask something or talking to someone else is something i'd normally avoid. But now i just push myself to not give a shit and do it. It's definitely working. The height thing just …

eh. I don't think the mantra "be yourself" works. From what i've read in the sidebar and on various red pill site.. "know yourself and know others" is the way to go. Will i ever be myself around women? maybe when we're in a relationship but on first meet, hell no. I'm a socially akward gamer. Fuck being myself. Look if you're a 6"2 jock with a nice jawline 8/10. Yes you can be yourself. Because at that point women don't care... But if you're anything like me, an average 5"6 guy. that's never gon…

What is the point of marriage these days? Unless you're of faith i see no reason to just have a partnership instead. I'd get baby boomers marry more, back in those days a lot more things were taboo. Pre martial sex.. bastards.. etc. But now all those things are normal.

Probaly the best thing. He made the mistake of following rp blindly. And not deciding for himself/searching for more sources of info. A mistake I made when I started on RP too. Once I read r/purplepill,askmen,menslib is when i started to develop a more nuanced opinion about men and women in general. That's why I'm not traditionally RP anymore. Maybe talking about the issues you described like his job loss and his depression will help him become less RP.... (In therapy) Don't believe anyone here …

The resources exist at the tip of the finger. I agree with almost everything but that. Not even one bit. For you and me it's a lot easier to say "oh that's blatantly abusive/wrong" but those guys are gullible as hell. Like I was. If you're a regular dude there's a big chance you'll start at the MSM. They are man hating and inconsistent. It doesn't take much r/menkampf articles for you get off from that entirely. But that's my biggest issue and pet peeve.
