"An important ruling by the European Court CEDU: seven judges ruled re an Italian custody case that children should not be forced to visit a violent father and their best interest were not protected. Damages were allowed for the children." Leaving kids with a violent mother may be similarHopefully enforcement isn't biased there. It certainly is in Washington state. | /r/MensRights | 14/11/22 05:15 PM
Men's problems are menGeneralizations like that just aren't true, but even if they were, so what? How does that suddenly negate the issues? It's not hard to find women contributing to women's issues. Does that mean women's issues don't matter either? | /r/MensRights | 01/10/22 05:39 PM
A sad fact about our societyIt would be nice if women doing something horrible was enough to get custody so that children could be kept safe, but it's often not. | /r/MensRights | 10/09/22 06:25 PM
A dad complained that he hasn't had contact with his children in years, and mom keeps moving to different states, mom has blocked all phones so he can't contact his children, and the child support agency claims they cannot help him. He has gone to court many times with no results. If a man did it they would be quick to enforce. | /r/MensRights | 08/09/22 06:28 PM
Even if the statistic showing men are more likely to commit crime are true, but isn't judging individuals within a group by statistic itself is kind of hateful?Women are rarely charged and convicted for the crimes they commit so those statistics are going to be skewed. Of course I have no idea what the real numbers are. | /r/MensRights | 31/07/22 03:09 PM
What made you wanna stand up for mens rights/join this sub.Family court. The judges all made it very clear that the safety and well being of children is something they never consider. Their only goal was to find ways to punish men for existing. So what of mom openly admitted to repeatedly punching an 18 month old in the head. | /r/MensRights | 21/07/22 05:44 PM
Why do so many people seem to defend female child abusers? My ex punched our 18 month old in the head repeatedly. Told the police she did it. Judge commented about what a great mother she is. It was a hell of a fight to get 50/50 with mom abusing my son several more times while court was ongoing. | /r/MensRights | 19/06/22 08:55 PM
fresh out of family courtI'm sorry you're going through this. That's about how things went for me except I did get 50/50. My ex was reported to CPS 6 times and was confirmed to have assaulted my son multiple times before we got to 50/50. By state law she can't have any kind of custody do to the assaults so I guess that's how I got to 50%. | /r/MensRights | 02/05/22 05:38 AM
anyone know places where I can cohabitation with a women and have children without having to risk my wealth? My ex showed up in court with her own version of the standard state form used for calculating income for the purposed of establishing child support. For her income she started by listing her gross well under what her W2 showed (W2 is filed with the form). Then she deducted things from her income that were explicitly listed as non-deductible to reduce her income further. She helpfully provided a worksheet for my income as well. The judge was ecstatic about throwing the form I provided out and usi… | /r/MensRights | 14/04/22 07:22 PM
anyone know places where I can cohabitation with a women and have children without having to risk my wealth? My ex was making 20k a year more than me. I have 50/50 custody. I pay $500 a month in support and 70% of all expenses (medical, daycare, etc.) | /r/MensRights | 14/04/22 02:38 PM
Five-year-old boy whose body was found in a river was "treated like rubbish in life, just like he was in death" by his mother and stepfather, a court has heardI have 50/50. When I spotted abuse like bruises that are clear handprints, burns in the shape of an iron in the same spot multiple times over weeks etc, the problem according to the judge was that I spotted the abuse. | /r/MensRights | 12/04/22 04:07 PM
A guy friend with 4 kids (2 his/2 hers) is trapped in a domestic abuse situation with paranoid psychotic. If in the United States hire a lawyer and file for a domestic violence protection order. Based on my own experience there's a 70% chance the judge will side with her and take the kids even if she admits to being the abuser. I'd like to be more optimistic but the system is there to punish men, not to keep kids or anyone else safe. | /r/MensRights | 02/04/22 07:54 PM
My story needs to be shared. Although I’m nobody important, everybody should know what happened to me.I'm sorry you are having to go through this . When you can, you need to move. When I went through the court system facing an admitted abuser, the judges all seemed to be trying to find creative ways to punish my son and I for being male. | /r/MensRights | 05/02/22 07:33 PM
can a man be charged with child support if the mother decides to keep the child even though an agreement was never made?Lol man often has to pay even if it's not even his kid | /r/MensRights | 16/01/22 03:47 PM
My wife doesn’t believe that women aren’t held to the same level of accountability as men.My ex wife tried to beat our son to death when he was 18 months old. She held him down and repeatedly punched him in the head. She then scratched and hit me when I pulled him away from her. She admitted what she did to the police. She was charged with disorderly conduct so she wouldn't lose custody because according to the judge a boy needs his mother. Had the gender roles been reversed does anyone believe the outcome would have been the same? | /r/MensRights | 21/12/21 12:48 AM
Conservative site calls women not being included in the draft a “ significant, hard-fought victory”It's a victory for people fighting for gender discrimination. Not everyone has the same goal. | /r/MensRights | 14/12/21 05:38 PM
Judge accused of putting Queensland father through ‘grossest parody of court hearing’ by wrongly jailing him | Man jailed in max security (with murderers etc) for not having all financial reports on hand in a divorce hearing. Show this to anyone who says courts are not biased against men in divorce.I'm surprised they didn't jail him then call it a no contest divorce. Or did they? | /r/MensRights | 07/12/21 06:56 PM
What are your guy's opinion on self defense/retaliation?While I agree that you should be able to stop someone from injuring you, I can tell you that in the real world defending yourself in any way will result in you being made out as the villan. | /r/MensRights | 03/12/21 09:01 PM
Ex-Wife DEFIES Court And REFUSES To Turn Over Son To Father, Ex-Wife's BF Then Shoots And KILLS FatherIf you've seen the video, it's clear this was premeditated murder. Last time I checked no one has been arrested or charged. The ex wife also is a judge or something like that. | /r/MensRights | 30/11/21 04:52 AM
Bettina Arndt: Erasing Mothers' Violence Towards ChildrenMy ex wife tried to beat our son to death when he was 18 months old. She told the police she did it. When it went to criminal court the judge let her plead out to disorderly conduct so she wouldn't lose custody due to assault charges because "he needs his mother". Later in family court my ex changed her story. The judge said she thought my ex was lying but my son deserved the beating because he's going to grow up to be a man. I can't tell you how hopless if feels when a judge feels safe saying s… | /r/MensRights | 29/11/21 10:20 PM
HELP! I was blackout drunk at a party, had sex with a girl and the condom broke by accident (it hasn't left my wallet since I bought the pack last week). She's pregnant and wants to keep it.I don't know anything about the laws in Sweden so can't help there, but for those that don't know, never store condoms in a wallet. It causes them to fail significantly more often. | /r/MensRights | 13/11/21 05:23 PM
