Man I am confused. Eczema? How does that even factor into custody? That's just an autoimmune/ skin disease.

We haven't filed yet. My lawyer is on vacation. This is all preliminary parenting plan

How? How did you win custody? There must have been some pretty specific issues, right? I'm not trying to bust your balls here or anything, I would love to have the same experience as you. Just want to know how it went for you. My wife rolled into court and told a few lies and got a restraining order with almost no effort and stole my life away from me in the process. So I'm a little bit skeptical. I don't think the judicial process is on my side here

Our current plan is for supervised visits with me and my mom/ Their grandma. It's kind of a win-win because my mom really wants to see them as well. I'm hoping that is a good middle ground

And honestly, what good would it do for me to tell my son about this? She's already told him that I'm lying. If I send him a few text messages telling him that she's fucking around with a pedophile would he even believe me? Probably not

As much as I hate to say it, the other commenters are right. I need to just use restraint and be the better man. It will take years but they will realize it eventually

The pedophile never got convicted in court. He used Snapchat with the kid so that everything got deleted. When she turned 18 she got pissed off at him for some reason and filed a restraining order against him. But I still can't prove that he's in a relationship with my wife or anything like that. I was stupid and didn't take any screenshots. Everything is circumstantial

Thanks. Appreciate the advice. I am literally on my back foot at this point. She got a protection order against me so I am the bad guy. The court doesn't really care about me, I have four sworn witness affidavits testifying to the fact that I am a really good father. My ex-wife had a lot of chronic fatigue so she tends to lay in bed and scroll on her phone. Well I took my son mountain biking or snowboarding and I took my daughter to the barn where she rode horses. I probably spent 20 to 30 hours…

I am glad to hear that it worked out for you eventually. That's the kind of news that I really need right now. This all just feels so surreal to me. Honestly the kids that get trapped by these pedophiles are the ones that don't have active parents. And now I feel like I am being blocked from being an active parent. But it's only temporary. I just want to be there for them, you know? I have to calm down and just do the best that I can from where I am at. That is all that matters I guess. Hard pil…

This is going to sound like a completely canned response but honestly I have gotten a lot out of therapy. My initial reaction to your post is to suggest you gray rock her. But it sounds like you're not divorced yet so that is not a valid strategy at this point. Not yet. You sound really unhappy. But sit with it and think about what your life would be like separated. Not saying you shouldn't do it but just think it through to the end. Most importantly, don't act on emotion. Think about how things…

Hopefully all the other men out there will hear this as well. I live in a really rural county. There are very few lawyers that practice here. When she filed for the restraining order she had legal help and I didn't. I went pro se because I couldn't find a lawyer that wasn't on summer vacation. Just delay the hearing. Do not go into these things without a lawyer.

Thank you. I know this is right. I'm just so mad right now 😢 I think my real struggle is just trying to figure out what happens next. I spent so much time with my children. I worked so hard at fostering a relationship with them. Now it feels like it's all gone and I won't be able to get it back. It's just really scary. I've only heard a couple of third hand anecdotes but I know that she is trying to poison my kids against me and I just hope that they can see through it

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
