Yes. Flirting and seduction is not some puzzle-solving game where if you click the right buttons, the level will unlock. It is a form of communication and gauging interest and recognizing YES and NO signals. Here is what I do - (i) Start with normal conversation and check response - if she is smiling and talking back, then YES. If she ends the conversation abruptly, or says she is waiting for a friend, or takes out her phone, then NO. (ii) Make light contact - brushing elbows accidentally, leani…

Play the reverse Uno card. Ask the lady if her friend is bothering her.

Not just this sub, but overall in dating coach circles. The excessive emphasis on "cold approach" - like walk to a random stranger on the street, throw around some pick-up lines and immediately place your arms around her waist. I have been most successful in dating within friends groups and social circles. There appears to be very little advice in this angle.

I generally don't do the "cold approach" - ie - walk up to a random stranger in the bar and start casual small-talk. Generally there are specific hobby/interest groups that I am a part of, or I go to specific events about stuff I am knowledgeable about or interested in. And then, if I get along well with someone, I ask for meeting up for coffee later or one-on-one. You need to understand that introverts really shine when we are in our own element. And you are more likely to find another introver…

I'm not an expert. But on occasions where things escalated, it is based on gentle/natural physical touches, and waiting to see reciprocation. For example, when you tell a joke, gently bump your elbows against her. Or brush your fingers against hers while passing her drink. And then, wait to see if she reciprocates. Example - she will pat you on your shoulder while laughing at your joke, or lean in closer. However, if you find her jerking away from even a gentle brush, it means "NO" in big bold l…

You need to figure out a fine balance between the extremes. On one hand, you want to go outside your comfort zone. On the other hand, you don't want to go so far, that you lose your confidence, or are not in your element. You have to oscillate and figure out the right balance that works for you and this is an ongoing process. But here's good news. This is anecdotal, but I have seen this work. Spontaneous people are generally receptive to "positive" cues - they can sense excitement or eagerness a…

It's called sexual repression and a lot of religious or conservative people were brought up in a world where sex inherently was considered bad. In our world today, within progressive circles we often talk about men aggressively pursuing sex and how women feel unsafe when consent or interest from the party is not taken into account. There is a difference between "sexual pursuit is bad" and "sexual pursuit without reciprocation is bad", and to a lot of people it doesn't emotionally or instinctivel…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
