My only problem is a lot of people don't draw that distinction and treat all nice guys like they are actually stalkers People who do that are negatively stereotyping guys. It's bad. :(

No. Not at all. I was just talking about guys like this who call themselves nice guys. Not about nice guys in general. I wasn't specific enough in my earlier post, I guess. "nice guy" a term that's abused by creepy people like that. Real nice guys? They are awesome. My SO is one :) We say that we are so sweet we could melt in the rain. :D Yes, talking about him makes me smile uncontrollably.

Interesting. Red pillers reading /r/homo_homini_lupus's opinion, do you agree with this person or disagree? Why? Edit: Also do you find the stereotypes /r/homo_homini_lupus espouses about men negative or positive?

all your accomplishments These aren't all of my accomplishments. I felt the need to list them to see if these things would combat the negative stereotypes about women I've seen in RP (that women are less logical, etc.) I would have talked about how amazing my relationship is too but I don't want to give trolls an opportunity to pick on someone that I love so much. If you were a man and saying this to a woman, how do you think most women would react? Not sure. It would be an interesting social ex…

No one said it wasn't hate. What I am saying is that the community is not built around hate. You're seriously telling me that a community that espouses negative stereotypes about a group of people and that leads many towards outright hatred is not built around hate? Most of the submissions in the RP have some sort of complain in them about women. Shit happens, men and women get hurt all the time by both sexes. We're trying to get men to the other side where they take responsibility for their fai…

What harm is there in a good debate where participants use logic and refrain from character attacks?

Maybe not, but it might change someone's view. Even if it change's one person's view on the internet, I will have succeeded.

Yes, some men get quite justifiably bitter when they first discover our knowledge and realize they've been lied to their entire lives. This is a stage which usually has quite a bit of actual misogyny involved. Some stay bitter, and some go their own way. ... and how is that not hate? Their anger is misplaced... It doesn't matter is anger/hate is misplaced. It's there and it hurts innocents. bullshit and then wonder why their "Nice GuyTM" strategy is so vilified by TRP to TBP and everyone in betw…

That's a logical fallacy. Something can be hurtful/harmful even if the victim "doesn't let it hurt him/her." For instance, if everyone believed that women are less logical than men, as red pill espouses, I would have a much harder time finding jobs in my field (sound reasoning skills are very important to any job here).

Love is an emotion too. So is anger.

I do it for someone I love who got badly hurt by a person who took negative stereotypes a few steps too far.

A hurtful/harmful act, even if not malicious in the intent, is still just as hurtful/harmful.

Yes, the problem is not exclusive to the red pill. How do you propose solving this problem at large? I tackle this problem by addressing people who propone negative stereotypes by reasoning with them that such things are wrong/harmful. I'm do the same thing vs the holocaust denialists, racists, etc. whenever I have the free time. The internet is full of such people.

TRP does have a problem agains't women in general, not just feminists. See my post above about stereotypes.

It is isn't it? Have you seen this video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-E6vRfnijw It's awesome. However, I won't be posting anything I made. This is a throwaway.

I wasn't informed badly by a third party. I went to the red pill subreddit and read the stuff posted on it. You can love someone and hate/have a problem with them all at once; these things aren't mutually exclusive.

Thanks! I made a butterfly valve, a badge, a present for my SO, and a vent for an upgraded printer head I'm making. Are you into 3-d printers too? :)

One of the biggest issues I see is that red pillers promote negative stereotypes of women (ex: they are less logical than men). Many studies show that the propagation of negative stereotypes is harmful to the group the stereotype is about. Examples: http://psycnet.apa.org/psycinfo/1999-15054-009 Abstract: Two experiments showed that framing an athletic task as diagnostic of negative racial stereotypes about Black or White athletes can impede their performance in sports. In Experiment 1, Black pa…

I'm not talking about flirtation skills that actually change your opinion. I'm talking about coercion wherein you end up taking him in the butt because you don't have any other option. It involves no consent on your part. The result is to be successful in a quest to sleep with the women I desire. How will stereotypes ever be efficient in getting those women to sleep with you?

Red pill appears to have a problem with women. I fall into this category (women). Therefore, red pill has a problem with me.

Coercion removes the power of choice. Imagine if a gay guy who was stronger then you came at you and forced you to take him in your butt (or coerced you somehow). The hypothetical gay guy, forced you and removed your choice. Would you be happy? Think about how you would feel. Picture yourself in this scenario. Therein lies, the answer to "why". What is your desired result? Edit: No offense ment to any gay guys or anyone else with this example of a specific gay guy rapist.

Most people don't see a problem with casual sex. The problem lies within grounds of morality, and ethics. It is unethical and immoral to manipulate/ use force to coerce another human being into doing something; It is immoral to stereotype a group of humans in derisive manners; etc.
