I suffer from constantly playing out scenarios. Be it revenge or living the life I want, but in my head.

What are you supposed to do then? I too once out out the clownish exterior and welcome mat personality. Now tho I'm definitely more negative and give less shits. However people remember the old me. So when I'm not taken seriously I want to smash fucking skulls. So much rage.

I have both The Power of Habit and Switch. Got them years ago. Have yet to read them. After I'm done with my current book I'll open them up. I have a lot of bad/nasty habits I need help dealing with.

Amen. I've relapsed many times on new changes because I try to do too much at once. Once I relapse it takes a good amount of time to get back in the mood because of the sense of failure I got from failing. If I choose one or two changes and focus on them I feel like I stand a better chance of succeeding. Part of the reason why I try to much at once is because the feeling of lost time and opportunities. I catch myself thinking "Oh man, if only I didn't do this or that I could have been here or th…

Damn dude!. Congrats! I've started going back to the gym after a year hiatus and it feels good. I'm going back for the sole purpose of my own well being. Both mentally and physically. Everything else that comes with it is just a bonus.

Damn. This post rings so true for me. All those assumptions you listed, I've done. All they did was cause me failure which reenforced the negativity that overshadows everything I do. Also external validation and lack of faith and confidence in myself has been very detrimental to my cause. I'm glad I recognize my weaknesses and issues though. Just have to work hard on fixing them. Great post, man. Thanks.

I've been really lost when it comes to lifting. The time I was going to the gym I was doing Stronglifts. But then I stopped back in July. Haven't been to the gym since. I've been meaning to go back but as I was researching workouts online I was overcome with the wealth of information out there. Hence, why I've spent all my time researching and not actually applying. I'm 6'2 and 165lbs. I'm not sure if I want to build strength or mass yet. Building mass will be very hard for me as I don't gain we…

I need to rant. I'm such a fucking loser and I'm sureI'll be like this for the rest of my life. Short backstory. I've been beta for all 30+ yrs of my life. Found TRP almost two years ago and decided to change. Clearly I have not. Recently a friend hooked me up on a blind date with another of her friend. I don't date. Never had a serious relationship. Just stupid random hook ups. Meet this girl. Fucking super cool. Head on her shoulders. Shit together. Looking for a LTR. We went on 3 dates. Here …

To be honest, not spending money when taking a girl out on a date or talking to one at a bar is pretty damn hard. especially if you've been conditioned to do it from a young age.

This is a really hard concept for me to grasp. I'm currently dating someone and I did the complete opposite of this thread on the first two date. We're going to be going on a third date but now I feel like I may have done damage that can't be fixed. I just can't bring myself to have to lie or not reveal stuff about my past. I mean they ask.

Dude. The mental blockade! I know that exact feeling man. Like I want to change. I want to become a better man. I know what I must do. However, when I try to start the actions that need to be done in order to change there comes a force that stops me. It's an invisible force but it "feels" tangible. Real. It's literally keeping me in place. Keeping me from exercising. Keeping me from finding a better job/career. Keeping me from going up to that hot girl who works in the grocery store. Keeping me …

Going on a 3rd date with a girl who htas the makings for a potential LTR. Possibly. However, on the first two dates I made the mistake of talking waaaay to much. I revealed things that after reading this post and comments I feel might have hurt me. In fact I was even thinking of revealing more when I see her tonight but after reading this I won't. Hopefully I didn't do any permanent damage to my reputation. *edit: at one point in the first date she asked me what I liked to read. I replied philos…

Should the Vit D be taken with a fatty meal? So I've heard. I used to take it with a table spoon of coconut oil. Funny thing though is that I used to take zinc at night and magnesium in the morning. Does it really matter?

Just under two years. It's just that I feel like time is running out. I feel like I should have reached my peak in my 20's. I'm turning 33 in a few months. I've been beta for all 32 years of my life. Nothing accomplished. It pains me because I know I deserve better. Much better than what I have now. The progress, the very little I've made, is so slow. I want the changes and growth now. I wanted them years ago.

This is all great advice, but extremely hard to put into practice. Everything on this sub is like that. It's easy to write and say do this or do that. it's another thing to do it. For example, this week has been one of the worse for me mentally. Like lose my shit and kill someone bad. All because I lose frame and allow external things, people and words affect me. When I try to apply anything I learn here it just seems to make it harder. I'm at wits end man.

Had my first date in over 5 years last week. Was good but not great because I was stuck in my head trying to remember all the Redpill rules. Really nice down to earth girl. I made no moves. No touching. Was too afraid. I did get a second chance though. We're meeting up tomorrow for a second date. I will not fail this time.

"likewise, he who opts to prove, demonstrate and qualify himself with merely and solely the spoken word is perceived to be dishonest, pathetic. The justification is not seen as transparent or helpful, but rather as persuasive, deceptive, false – even when it isn’t. People have a propensity to distrust that which doesn’t embody an element of effortlessness." Yes! I hate, hate when people do this. One of my bosses loves to explain himself especially when it's not necessary and it irks the shit out…

My frame is very weak. It breaks pretty easy. After reading this I realize I receive many gifts per day. I used to think it was just people trying to get under my skin, but this has put it into a different light. I should now look at these as tests. Tests to help me become a better person. you can't become good or better as a person if you're not challenged, right?

Trust me, as a life long beta making a slow change, it isn't easy. It's very hard in fact. I often catch myself behaving in my old ways. And in a lot of situations there is conflict within me when it comes to how I should behave. Cognitive dissonance as they say.

That's me! My sister called me a fool over whatsapp. And I went nuclear. I took it as disrespect. However after careful thinking i went back and spoke to her. She was confused. This weekend I asked a employee at a store I was at out. First I asked her what she was doing that night. She had plans because it was her birthday. Then I asked if she'd be free any other night. The hesitation started bubbling. So I was then like " You have a boyfriend?". She said yes. In hindsight I messed that up myself. I gave her a way out. The last two Saturdays I've gone out by myself for the first time. To the same spot. A new eatery in my hood. First night I actually struck up a convoy with a guy and girl. Friends. I was doing well with the girl. I didn't close for stupid reasons. Got a number but nothing came of it. When I first got there I was at the bar and I felt really fucking weird. Sitting there alone. I've absorbed the redpill philosophy like a fucking champion. But I am in no way alpha or redpill at heart. Not yet. Shit I may never fully be. At the least all I can hope for is some minimal change that will enhance my life if even by a little. I've been blue pill my entire life. I sorta expected the change to be easy and instantaneous, but so far it's the opposite. I'm not going to give up hope though.

I'm in the same boat. I believe if I can get a handle on rejection I'd be much better off. I've accepted that I'm a hot stud. Decent, but that's it. I'm pretty cool as a person though. I want to learn how to kill my ego so I can develop a IDGAF attitude and the ability to laugh in the face of rejection. One day at a time.

This guy in the video pusses me off more than anything else. While I don't fault him for pulling his gun, his conversation with the cops is infuriating. The whole hero mentality. "Crying girls". " Yelling men". Why didn't he just say he heard people arguing?

I've been trying off and on for a year now. I recently bought a book titled Mindfulness in plain English. It's pretty good. However, the actual practice of meditation is pretty hard. I have to fight myself to do it everyday, and when I do actually do it it's a struggle. My mind is an unstoppable train-wreck of thoughts. Mostly of the negative kind. I find myself getting upset when I drift into my thoughts. I'll stick with it though, as I know this is part of the process.

True. My problem is where I shop. I live in a rather "upper class" area, though far from upper class. So true. I've been doing the strong lift program and I've reached the point in the exercises where the weight is causing my form to suffer huge. In fact I feel like I could be injured at anytime. So I think I'll have to lower the weights until I get stronger.

I'm 31 and I've only recently discovered the redpill/manosphere lifestyle. I sometimes wish I had discovered it years ago, as now I feel that I'm far behind. Alas, as long as I'm still alive I can make changes for the better.
