It isn't the same. I have known plenty of strong dudes who really don't have an actual strong personality. They are easily led. Personal strength is something found by deconstructing who someone thinks they are, finding ones actual self outside the external world, and being able to say the fucking Earth is round when everyone says its flat. It is not needing anyone, connecting inward, to then be able to connect outward.

One of the Psych audio sessions I downloaded a while back, I think it was from MIT, one one of the 24 lessons, each an hour long, it talked about the spectrum of Males vs Females.
