Talk with a how I process this thing vs a how to process this thing. I feel like dinosaurs are such majestic creatures. When I was a kid my favorite was ankylosaurus because ge felt invulnerable with his spikey shell. Vs Dinosuars existed hundreds of millions of years ago. Ankylosaurus was a dino that had a spiked shell. His tail was clubbed.

I'm (insert actual age) and am a badass. Seriously, she already likes you enough to open communications. Give her a reason to be right in liking you. What are you afraid of?

Never game with someone who doesn't game. Part of game is knowing how to wing. If they don't know how to wing for you and vice versa, this is just driving blind and hoping you two don't crash.

Dude thank you. Finally someone else on here that is going out gaming and has good insight. Do you find it more of a spurr of the moment thing or do you think they still mean it?

Agree, I am a very affectionate person and love to be in love, so I have no problems either. It's just the shock at how quickly things developed. I wasn't sure if it was a fluke or a cultural evolution I didn't witness changing. Even little kids will walk up to my dog now and say they love him right away. Maybe I'm more conservative but I don't just throw out the love word. But thank you for your answer and perspective! Really helps.

I guess the reason why I care is because I'm dating these younger girls from a new generation. It's crazy how much stuff has changed and I feel alienated so I'm just trying to understand. I see what you're saying too about being true to myself and I agree. I'm trying to figure out where we both are though, so I can figure how to lead from here.

Lol sure, I'm 34, last gf was when i was 26. She cheated on me, left the country, and that just made me avoid relationships for a long time. Is that inspiring?

Just to be clear I wasn't in a committed relationship until now. We all knew we were just talking. I just don't like being left hanging and don't wish that feeling on other people.

Yeah I feel that honesty is the way to go. I've been pretty clear to the girls that I want a l.t.r. and that we were only talking. I think one of them will take it really hard though, she was pushing hard for a commitment.

Did you guys want like a background, learning process, and meet? Or did you guys just want a field report? There's kindda a lot to unpack.

I remember a technique called The Sacrificial Lamb. Technically you're supposed to do it just on the first set but I usually do about 2 to 3 sets or until I feel good and ready. So what you do is know that your first few sets will suck so just open as badly as your brain is going to anyways. Sacrifice the first few sets to failure and treat them like warm ups. This doesn't mean fail on purpose, just like stretching is an ease into a workout, stretch your approach game. So in this particular scen…

I'm really curious what they believe laziness actually is. The lack of energy is a sign of depression and valid. The lack of ability to execute is a sign of ADHD. Do people really believe these people are choosing crippling trauma over success?

Yep I believe negging is one of the most essential abilities for a person to learn. It not only shows confidence but builds self-esteem by giving a person the ability to reject a situation. Doing none/too little and you're a push over and doing too much then you're a narcissist.

I see this as a win. I've noticed that young people (women in this case) are easier to open now. Post pandemic everyone is craving irl friendships. If dating were like the stock market, we just had a crash so now is the best time to buy.

Went out today with my 6'5" buddy today, I'm 5'8 but I got the girls number because I was having fun and being social.

Thanks. That's what ilbtrying to figure out. Maybe I just happened to talk to the type before that liked that stuff. Maybe there's always been the girls that liked being generally ignored because it shows high value and non-neediness. So you haven't noticed a change in behavior/attraction type?

Write a field report. Aka basically write a mini book about that night. Don't skip any conversations or important details. Ex: Friday night 7pm. Dressed in khakis, button up, tan dress shoes, hair slicked, no sunglasses. 7:15 arrived downtown and talked to cute girl with sunflower skirt. Opened with: "Hi. I saw your sunflower skirt and knew you must be a fan of Van Goh, right?" Her: confused look... "Yeah..." she probably didn't understand what I actually said. Me: "So anyways, I thought you loo…

Hey bro, I know you're not trying to claim her or call dibs. It just hurts and you want to talk to someone. It's ok man. Don't let it get to your heart and the best way to get over heart break is to find what makes you whole. You're a whole person and don't need another person to fill your life.

I want to help you but all I'm really getting for you is "No. This wont work because my unspecified environment is special and really bad". If a conversation is in que or something is what it takes, do it. Improving yourself takes effort and risk. Gotta risk getting out of your comfort zone.

A single girl gets more attention than a girl whos dating. Some girls might really like you and is nice when its just you two, but in public she might behave like she doesn't know you. If this kind of girl can trust you to be cool or else keep things on the DL then she'll relax more. If you don't understand this you will come off as someone who will bring her value down or are just not cool. Either she will figure out when to bring you out or you bring her into your friend group. Show her you un…

I was in the Army and have traveled around the world a bit. I was born in the ghetto, lived in the south, and reside in the Middle West (US). Unless you are opening in a robbery set or highly confrontational, nobody is going to care as much as you think they will. I've opened sets in East Asia, Western Europe, US, and South America. Just be a good guy. Edit: wait give me an example of what you'd do to meet a new friend. Word for word, body language, etc.

I was really nervous too. Then I realized that talking and making friends required me meeting new people. I figured if I can make new friends with guys then I can apply the same strategy with making friends with women. Build up your social confidence by talking to random guys and being friends, then over to friends with women, then move to flirting with women. Don't flirt with your women friends though unless it's jokingly and your guys are like that. Tldr: practice approaching guys first.

I'd watch a few of the old Simple Pickup videos on YT. Reason is that they seem like casual conversations and it takes away the scarry-ness of flirting. Turns out most people are normal and it's ok to talk to them.

This is awesome. I'd just like to add that sometimes silence is golden, it doesn't have to be awkward. You have to own it. I forgot the comedian but a funny joke is that sometimes guys talk themselves out of sex.

I dont understand your first point about zoning out. Can you explain how that makes you fearful? So it's important to label your emotions. It sounds to me like: Fear of failure. You want want a LTR and think this one has to be it. If you take one wrong step then all your hopes are down the drain. Fear itself comes from the feeling of the unknown. Fear of failure stems from attachment to outcome. You wont ever know the outcome of anything in the future. You have to let go of control and know that …

You're giving us the symptom but not the cause. You're saying you have a lack of courage but why? Don't just take my examples, think for yourself here but for example afraid to be a bad kisser? Afraid of commitment, std, religion, or...?

Agreed. Every time I've been in a fight or seen some other dudes fight for a girl, it's the fastest way to see a girl run away in terror. At least that's what happens when you first meet a girl and haven't hung out another time yet. If you mean stand up for her, then they typically like it when you have the smarts to say something for them that shuts down the situation (if they don't have it fully covered already).

I agree. You don't unlearn things but forgive yourself and progress forward with new insight and direction. It sounds like you are having self-esteem issues but what you are doing is actually a great thing. You found something you wanted to improve about yourself and took action. Now you're seeking to improve another aspect of yourself (self-esteem) and I think the best way to do it is to list what you respect most about others and see how you can become that or appreciate how you already are.

Your best bet to get her to like you at this point is to get better at getting women in general to like you. You already been giving too much of what she's not biting. Keep at it and you'd lose all connection possibilities forever. So first become the you that women love. Maybe later (like atleast 1 year) you can hangout with her again and try again.

Still new to each other: I usually like to start by teasingly ask if they're still a virgin. They will usually laugh and fight it. Then I escalate slightly by asking about when they lost it. It's important here that no matter her answer you don't judge her or make it a big deal (unless you know how to joke it off). Then I talk about either my first or some other sexual experiences I had. Already had other sex talks: I don't do over the phone stuff often especially if we haven't done it irl. But …

Only visited NYC a few times but each time the women were the same there. If anything the younger girls were excited to try new things and talk to people. So what can you do? Idk, we don't know what exactly you're doing. Most likely what and how you're talking is either boring or your body language is self sabotaging you. Give me an example of what happened to you and we can further help.
