I would like to add that HR not willing to hear your side is a giant read flag. Since the romans a fair process procedure was "audiatur et altera pars" - the other party has to be heard. HR is breaking basic fairness rules. So it's a giant red flag in my opinion.

a friend of mine - was in a similar situation. she asked him to pay part of the housing cost for her child because "he can't pay for his housing himself" lmao !!!

I guess modern dating apps, third wave feminism, porn and the #believeWomenatallcost thing did a lot of damage to male / female relations ...

100% ! if he's strong he's toxic. if he's soft he's gay. if she's strong shes emancipated if she's soft she's feminie. what a double standard!

I think if you state your political views beforehand that helps and also if they behave toxic or narccistic, cut contact fast - havin said that there still should be great women out there! (maybe dating apps are not the best pool to find them as they are superfiical and that attracts narcs - i dont know ..)

I've been there too - loosing someone because of politcs. maybe we are at a state of affairs where we all need to express our political views before meeting someone. about women being problemetic I have to agree mostly: - in my family the toxicistic come from too women - in my workplace, I can recall 4 toxic women intercations, but only 3 from men - and that workplace was 80% men ...

Reading this - your arguments seem reasonable, so it seems like the other side is able to understand it, but simply doesn't want to understand it.

wow! I am not sure if I can believe it but I might as well try it (try seeing a male therapist)
/r/MensRights15/02/26 09:15 PM

well the first therapy was psychoanalysis and there the therapist seemed very neutral and if I asked her opinion she would ask: well what do you think? The second therapist ... she didn't try to justify it she just remained neutral like "well she's not here I can't diagnose her as narcissistic from the distance". (the second therapist was therapy two and three). and then ... I just wrote a 19 page document on my family, a 12 page document on my life a 16 page document on another conflict and now…

so let's take therapy with a women therapist for example - would that be a female dominated space?

I mean I guess that's somewhat fair because it's HER body that's going to go through that pain and damage. Just a thought: I think the baby is not her body. The baby is an entirely new body. It's got separate DNA. I don't think it's cool to kill that new unborn body.

There isn't one. It's all short-sighted rage. Maybe they are just gaslighting. They know they can't do without us, they are just on a power trip, making arguments up because they know the day where all men vanish will never come..

second (or according to the upvotes 18th) this! I was mobbed out of a female dominated "buddhist" center at the older women where the worst!

yes it could be because they cancel anyone who is open MRA. How do you mean the last sentence? All women except tradcons are guilty?

Women have a strong lobby or ... in other words if something comes even close to being sexist they start to protest. this does not happen with men's issues...

When did make hatred become so mainstream and it becomes okay to hate men and masculinity. I have a hunch that it's economically motivated. So there's a big economic incentive to get as much women into the workforce as possible to get more more consumers. Therefore you need to influence the media to make this happen. So there was an economic incentive to push feminism. Now fast forward a few decades, the debate lines are pushed further and further. An (unintended) side effect of this is a type o…

oh ... ok i get the point about the voting rights. voting rights was the majority of first wave feminism, right? what about the rest of feminism .... the second wave? was that also a lie?

she tested your limits and who knows ... maybe there never was a porn star in the first place?? Also maybe this whole thing has traumatized you? I'm saying this because even 20 years later you try to avoid something like this from happening again and one core part of trauma is avoidance (understandably). Other core part of trauma are: reexperiencing (parts of the trauma are reexperienced) and hypervigilance (a heightened state of vigilance and nervousness) also I strongly recommend cutting all c…

she seems to be gaslighting you and your father seems to be the enabler - these are typical narccistic patterns. If that's true and it is narccism then unfortunately the only way to "solve" this is to have less (intensive) contact, as you can't "win" against a narc.

For you it's about winning an argument with the left, not identifying female/indirect violence? And you think you win the argument if you deny them the definition of the word violence, violence meaning something really bad? How can we win the argument by attacking the definition they will always say something along the lines of your words are hurting me? I think it's more effective to argue that in a in a debate both parties agree to hear each others opinion its a voluntary process and that maki…
/r/MensRights09/11/25 08:55 PM

Your concern is leftists will use the logic Words are violence to shut down debates and win the argument. So we shouldn't go there. Ok let's say you win with your viewpoint and everyone is convinced: Words are not violence, but they can be abuse. Now leftists would say: "Words are abuse! You are abusing me with your bad words, you need to stop using those words, we can't debate this topic, this is basic human rights neglect and abuse, you are hurting me etc." My fear is that if we don't include …

what you are saying is that you are angry that the above violence definition is denied to men and how to escape female violence, correct?
/r/MensRights07/11/25 01:48 PM

ok I see what you mean yes you can also define it that way. violence as a deed against voluntarism
/r/MensRights07/11/25 01:42 PM

I dunno, I don't think quantifying non-physical violence by making it a physical scale would work in practice. Its more about validating the emotional as just as meaningful, if not more as the physical. What practice do you have in mind? I think it depends on the practice. For example in my case I tend to gaslight myself when experiencing female violence that it's not that bad, in these occasions I think this definition helps to remind myself hey yes this is not ok, the validating that you talke…

yes coercion is one side of violence. is think that's what i meant with force. (i'´m no native speaker.) I think the other side of violence is creating pain without wanting to coerce someone to do something - just creating pain in someone to humiliate someone :(

I don't know a definitive answer to the question but I know debating that question with that women will not lead to a productive outcome. Better to let politics out of business I think and that women did not let politics out of business. But that still won't protect you from her turning the argument around and against you so, maybe proceed with a little caution here with that lady. Because that question also depends a lot on definition of words, perspective, etc. I think the main thing about thi…

at the risk of getting into an argument which is not my intention here, I think problems like this are multi-causal and I wanted to make an interesting point. but yes biology is also a factor. both factors seem to interact with each other.

oh ok wow. thanks for the update! maybe in their mind buddhism was not the topic it was more about a mobbing / violence case. they want to shift the perspective. I think that's partly undestandable, I also don't think what has happened had anything to do with buddhism - exact opposite of buddhism. But of course you could make the argument that abuse of buddhism teachings is an angle that deserves to be talked about.

save the evidence! and ... I don't know you lawyer does not sound like he wants to fight. I mean yes it does not prove total innocence but shouldn't you try to cast doubt on her to strengthen your side? Repeatetly your lawyer does not sound like he is the best but I am not a lawyer. is your lawyer really specialized in this? all lawyers are theoertically qualified but only those specialiced in your case you want to entrust with your case, I believe.

... is there a way to find out if she did this to other males too?

Yes I agree larger supply at any market typically leads to lower prices. This also applies to the labor market : if more women looking for jobs, there is more supply, so employers can get away with lower wages. But exploiting women for lower wages doesn't sound as nice, doesn't it? So just let's call it FEMINISM
/r/MensRights06/11/25 10:50 AM

I agree nothing buddhist about it. The just use the label to get way with their abuse. Because hey a women alone is so peaceful - now if it's even a BUDDHIST women - no way they could be violent right?! they use that perception to get away with - i mean even committing crimes and braking multiple of my rights I guess?
/r/MensRights06/11/25 10:47 AM

It depends on what level you want an answer. the most direct answer this is just double standards. If you look a bit deeper that probably due to feminism. But if you look even deeper I have a hunch that feminism itself is just an echo of economic incentives to get women to work to create a larger workforce and more consumers. So at the deepest level this it's a reflection and a side effect of our materialistic values.
/r/MensRights06/11/25 10:16 AM

wow that is a hard situation but you can always appeal a false verdict. do you have evidence of her violence or misconduct like insults? that should be vital to cast doubt on her behavior!!

ok this is crazy. maybe you can post your case to a legal advice subreddit to see if your lawyer is right or just bad? I don't possibly know that but some on this post were sceptical about your lawyer....

/r/MensRights06/11/25 06:32 AM

Important point - if there is no physical evidence of physical violence, there can't be a guilty verdict. Why is this case even going forward?

what if she invented the abortion to get you to pay her? then we are talking about fraud maybe? My hunch/hope is if you can go into the offense somehow, she might collapse quite easily. she seems unstable.

that ... is completely crazy! stay strong! If all fails, you can always move the country and use your degree there to earn money? Also right now you might not be able to work in counseling but maybe you can use your psychology degree for someting else? Also can you sue her for the unemployment? And to be sure after this case clears, you can continue to work in counseling, right? Also there are sometimes free mental health offers, maybe worth looking into.

so many important points! These women think because they have a uterus, they can do nothing wrong lol. I think that's the heart of the problem with modern feminism. I was ganged up upon by a group of females in a Buddhist - turned feminist center once and they broke all my rights, my civil rights, my right as association member and even commited crimes. Like there is no limit for these self-righteous bigots. After me they moved on to gang up upon the next male. the major difference between the a…

oh now thinking about it I see this is genius. "Simply put - if it ain’t air conditioned & at a computer, it doesn’t qualify for their brand of ”equality”."to add to that: the air conditioning, the software, the whole building, the whole infrastructure that supports women is build by men, yet feminists don't want to acknowledge this, but weaponize these benefits given by men against men.

This is very interesting. I also was taught from a young age to be strong. I was taught if my mother is sad I have to be there for her, "fixing" her and that if I don't I would be the problem, the cause of her pain. This lead to me trying to "fix" the world. Because this, apparently was what I was taught I need to do in order to be accepted and loved. Maybe it's time for me to stop that game and exit the battlefield.

OMG thanks so much for this link! it all makes so much sense now! It's the exact playbook that happened: First lying by plausible deniablity and evading the truth that there already was a commitment. Equating truth to approval (telling others that she wanted money) Then as I did not comply: Escalating to outraging and moralizing and shaming (being called shady) Then as I later brought the topic back up: Escalating to Rallying and Gossiping (only found out later) Then escalating into cancelling m…
