But the problem is that not all women want kids. To suggest that all women want the same thing is crazy, as crazy as suggesting that all women are insufferable cunts. Of course men don’t have to devote themselves to women, but are many women out there who don’t even want men... Crazy, right?

Okay, let’s answer your question. No, the majority of single women I know do not have children. I don’t know about any pets they may own. I do not know something so personal as how they ‘fulfil their urges to nurture’. But what I do know is how varied women are. I know ex-lawyers turned teachers and ex-military turned police officers who are women. Some are married with children. Some are single. Older, or younger. Women I’m related to, women I don’t like. But they all have that one golden thing…

Okay, so I read the article. Not quite understanding your point... So lots of women want to take care of their children. But that is not all that women are for. Women have friends and hobbies and personalities. They are not only here for men. Thinking that women are only here for men to cook and clean is truly very sad.

If you read everything on this comment thread, you’ll have seen that my own mother is not a ‘stay-at-home’ mother, and she is in her 40s. She works 8-9 hours a day.

I never said women pretend not to want kids. My mum is 41 and she has a good job and three kids, and she still has time for the gym. I might even want kids. But you can be independent and have a relationship. That was my point.

I’m gonna say this, and I know you’re not gonna like it, but couldn’t we technically say the same for women? Now they’re allowed to work and make their own money (which a lot of women do) they don’t need men bringing in an income. And sex, which is supposed to be about both of you, is also more accessible for women because sex toys and stuff. I feel like modern relationships are more about love than survival. No hate to men or women xx
