I don't know where you got "people like you". I, like many others on this sub, believe that all of these cases should be handled in court. I'm just saying, I see nothing wrong with the event or the article.

I think you are making quite a few assumptions about the Yale population. All I'm saying is this article did not take a stance with regard to the montague case, and simply showcased a student event. I see nothing wrong with that.

I think your title misrepresents the article. The quote was something someone wrote in chalk on the ground, not a huge statement. In fact, the whole event wasn't supposed to be focused on montague, but on supporting survivors of sexual assault, which I believe we can all agree is a good thing to do. No where in the article did it say that men are rapists and women are victims, it simply stated that some believe the male athletics at the school had created a negative sexual culture. I don't think they are supporting the idea of telling women not to go out at night, few people do. I think that they are saying it's not wrong to advise people on how to avoid danger. Though not going out is extreme, there are preventative measures one can take to avoid dangers such as rape.

Assuming the woman doesn't appreciate what the man does in the relationship and will inevitably cheat is woman hating. It would be man hating if one assumed all men end up cheating. There is very little content in this whole comic on divorce. The title even says it's about marriage.

I think this is super mysoginistic and doesn't belong here. The only possible connection this could have to men's rights is on alimony, but this doesn't really display the reality of the situation whatsoever. This is just woman hating.

I'm kind of concerned with average sentencing by gender, as it sounds similar to the earnings gap. Is this for the same crimes, or are men more likely to commit crimes that warrant higher sentencing? Maybe use the egregiously higher incarceration rate instead. Edit: Punctuation

I don't think this is a terrible article, it shows a lot of issues that feminism could address (though some of them, as you pointed out, are not handled by feminists). Also, on point 8, I disagree with you. Instead of discriminating against women for wanting to have kids (which is wrong), why not just give men equal paternity leave?

That suggests to me that this isn't as big a problem as people on this sub make it out to be. Women are being pushed more towards higher education obviously, but it's not like men are suddenly not going to college.

I don't think most feminists are out to accuse men of rape. The most extreme ones are the ones you hear about, but I'd say the average feminist believes in college consent rules ideally, but not in practice.

Though the video makes some good points on the fat acceptance movement (which is a ridiculous idea), there are some parts I take with a grain of salt. The reason behind consent courses is not that people need to be taught how not to rape. The definition of consent in university is completely different than what many people believe to be consent. I think everyone should have to go to a consent course, as a way of knowing the bullshit rules a university/institution uses.
