3	Why cOmMuNiCaTe simply doesn't work. Extras is from "Men who hate women and the women who love them" by Susan Forward and Joan Torres Hi. New here. This rang true for me with my ex husband. I would tell him what I needed from him (do x or be back at x time for y reasons). He would then proceed to not do what I asked. When I confronted him he would tell me that he misunderstood because I didn’t communicate clearly enough or he didn’t hear me because I didn’t make sure I had his full attention when I told him.
