In what way is it refreshing to you? I enjoy taking pride in what I do and having responsibility for my actions but if free will does not exist than neither of those are possible.

I have. Pretty heavily. If you can give any advice and have knowledge then feel free to add it in. In the recent weeks I have went through the work of: Sam Harris Dan Dennett Steven Pinker Richard Dawkins Michio Kaku Alber Einstein Noam Chomsky Moran Cerf Also a few others I cannot think of at the moment

Exactly what I'm talking about. I thought it would be best to ask my friends here and knew beforehand that it was not the best place since there will be a handful of people with replies like "shut up pussy" "you're determined to be a puss hahaha" and not take the question seriously.

Thank you for the response. I like how you put it. I guess I stripped meaning from everything since it is "determined" like some think. It is not too new. We have been thinking about it for nearly 3,000 years now. It's tough right now since I just crashed though 2 huge gaols in fitness and my company. Being at 7.5 million in revenue this early in the year cannot even cheer me up. I will see what I can do. Any more responses or opinions on the topic from anyone would be appreciated

Thats somewhat how my thoughts are. I like to take pride in the work I accomplish and the improvement I make to myself. It is tough to do when you think that all of that is just because of how your biochemistry is and how you grew up. My workouts have gotten much worse and usually I destroy things in the business and fitness world.

Because most research shows that is not the case. Nothing has ever hit me this hard. There is some research that goes against it and I try to believe that we do have free will and things are not determined but somewhere inside me I just lean towards determinism and that is not what I want but I also don't want to be deluded.
