I think you mean soft as shit in place of predisposition towards mental illness. Get a hobby, work out, take up a sport, refurnish some bric a brac, go for a walk. People NEED physical activity. Even ME or chronic fatigue syndrome has found by scientists to be bullshithttp://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/health/11959193/Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome-sufferers-can-overcome-symptoms-of-ME-with-positive-thinking-and-exercise.html

Damn right. "Depression" is the biggest crock of bullshit this side of "stress". Life is way to short for that nonsense.

To be fair, this is more common amongst elite athletes, particularly in combat sports, than you might like to think. To reach the level of Rousey, as in Olympic medal and unprecedented UFC streak, you need insane levels of determination. I think the gleeful reaction to her loss by many is pathetic. Conor McGregor will suffer the same when (everyone gets beat in mma at some point) he suffers his first UFC loss. Losers revel in the failures of the more successful. See Chris Leben, Tito Ortiz, Roy …

Agreed 100%. Cross train a form of grappling (bjj or wrestling ideally) with some striking (muay Thai, k1 style or just boxing if you prefer). Been training muay Thai for years but recently got more into western boxing to improve my footwork. Knowing you could kill most men with your bare hands is a great feeling.

Same here. Moved to the other side of the country to become my own person.

I have a background in high net worth investments and I can only agree. It is far more unusual to find a man who struggles with decision making when receiving professional advice than a woman. When I was a junior, a female client once wrote a cheque to my manager, her life savings, and said this is too much hassle, will you just look after my money in your account for me. Crazy.

Good read. I work in a department of around 120 at Big GlobalEmployerLtd & it is full of 4 to 6 out of ten women 22 to 26. So many of them NEED to lock a man down because the only thing most of them have going for them is youth and not being fat. Some are sweet enough, but who wants to wife up a 9 to 5 office girl?

I've never got into weights. I train boxing one hour per week, muay Thai 1.5 hrs per week and bjj 1.5 he's per week. So four hours per week of martial arts (boxing IS a martial art). I am 5"9 and under 145 lb. I am very quick and flexible too. I have never put any effort into resistance training, or monitoring food intake. I eat very healthy though, lots of seafood, fresh fruit and veg. I am now 30 but people think I am mid 20s because I am in such good condition, with very little fat. Maybe one…

The thing about McGregor is it is not an act for the UFC or rv. He has been talking like that for years. I have training partners who have spent time at SBG in Ireland before they became this respected team. McGregor has been living that attitude for years. He has put in a lot of work to become an overnight sensation.

I do not disagree, but time is finite, and I am not and nor will I ever be Daniel Cormier. I would rather do an extra sparring session over going near the weights. I have training partners who fight pro and S&C including deaflifts is part of their routine. The alpha silver back gorilla didn't do any weights to become the baddest bastard in the jungle though!

100% agree. I find lifting boring... an hour Muay Thai padwork? 90 mins on the mats? I'm there. I took a pal who lifts to a standard boxing sesh. He discovered muscles he didn't know he had! Training four times a week combat sports you will develop a real physique. The SAS are the most respected combat unit in the world. Are they built like WWF cartoon characters? Hell no.

Good post, I'm kind of living the endgame already, seem to be making a success of it. Here are my reasons why I think it is working:- Met and fucked her when she was an 18 year old virgin. She has never tasted another cock. Her dad died when she was 12 and she had to help raise her brother and look after the home while mother worked. She grew up fast and young by necessity. Got her pregnant age 22 and 27. Both 30 now. Being pregnant and raising small kids is time consuming (for her especially), …

The Guardian is a dying, loss making newspaper. They have started a free online offering targeting the USA and Australia, with luminaries like Jessica Valentin and "Van Baden" writing nonsense on a weekly basis. The main columnists are Polly Toynbee and Owen Jones, probably the two most out of touch people in the UK. Toynbee is a London-centric champagne socialist who spend most of her time in her Tuscany property (old money wealth) while ranting about equality and women's nonsense. Jones is, ba…

I certainly did not encourage it. She asked if it was all men, I said no there is one lass (who takes it very seriously and fights competitively to a good standard, well call her Laura) and my chick decided she would come too. Its an open class, so anyone is free to join. I told her I would not be her partner though for doing drills. My lass partnered with the experienced Laura and obviously hated it. First week she had a go, second week she got "injured" halfway through. Third week she was "inj…

"When you are the King, you can do what you want." I said that once to a girl, at dinner, while I ate her food off her plate. Good post, when in doubt over egg the confidence.

True. They are followers, they have little initiative or interests that don't involve men. My woman bought a fucking pink pair of boxing gloves and shinpads to follow me to muay Thai. Lasted three sessions before her new kit found their way to the bottom of her wardrobe. For a while she tried to stop me from going as it was violent and she would rather spend time together... I just laughed. She doesn't realise if I stopped training, stopped gaining certifications to do with my profession, stoppe…
