Not the OP however the courts did go after my mother for child support when my dad finally got custody of my brother and I. He never pushed the issue, wanted nothing to do with her but think it was actually the state going after her. If I'm not mistaken I believe a portion of the child support goes to Friend of the Court which would explain why they went after her. She called me a few times to try to talk him into taking time off work to go downtown and sign a waiver of sorts to get them off her…
