For those who haven't seen it the current data up to 2021 suggests roughly 55% of people are meeting online and 22% are meeting in bars or restaurants. The "apparent post‐2010 rise in meeting through bars and restaurants for heterosexual couples is due entirely to couples who met online and subsequently had a first in‐person meeting at a bar or restaurant or other establishment where people gather and socialize." https://web.stanford.edu/~mrosenfe/Rosenfeld_how_hetero_couples_met_through2021v4.J…

They aren't important for women either. The data shows that the least attractive women aren't struggling to get married or find successful partners. Looks like in new york city the ratio by age is slightly skewed towards women with 5% more of them in the 20-30 age range in comparison to men and a larger skew in the over 40 age range. For under 20 there are about 5% more males which is what you would expect since that is the standard human birth ratio. Age Group Population (Male) Population (Female) Gender Ratio Under 5 years 266,209 254,258 1.05 5 to 9 years 239,116 230,070 1.04 10 to 14 years 257,842 244,080 1.06 15 to 19 years 236,587 230,…

I think your tier list is mostly correct although I would say an attractive man would still be below an attractive woman. In virtually any domain where beauty is monetizable women are making more off of their beauty. When it comes to opportunities afforded by looks attractive women still get much more access since there is substantially more demand for attractive women from wealthy/high status men than there is for attractive men from wealthy/high status women. What was your reasoning for placin…

The most unattractive woman I know (born with a very noticeable facial deformity) is 24, has a nice house, a decent job, is engaged (to her former pump and dump who committed after she got pregnant) and has two children. That is also in line with what the statistics show. "The analysis of the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health (Add Health) shows that very unattractive women were significantly more likely to be married at Age 29 than unattractive or average-looking women, and their …

Women are purposely attempting to not appeal to the male gaze Perhaps in terms of becoming morbidly obese but not from their selection in outfits. The vast majority (90%+) of women that I see are still wearing tightly fitted clothing. Lately I've even seen an uptick in these unitards being worn in public.

most women now are wearing baggy jeans I'm not observing this anywhere. At the gym they are all still wearing yoga pants or booty shorts with maybe 1/100 of them wearing loose sweatpants. Outside of the gym fitted pants, yoga pants, or shorts are all the most common with loose clothes once again being very rare. I have a seen a slight uptick in in early 2000s clothes but that would still only be around 1/20.

This guy is about a 3-3.5/10 if you are using the /r/truerateme scale although the people saying he is statistically average are also correct. However, you are correct that this post is bringing out more of the people talking about statistical averages rather than looks ratings for whatever reason.

I don't see any point of this nofap stuff. There is some value in it for average to above average guys since it can give them the motivation to go out and be social in an attempt to get a girlfriend instead of staying at home. For below average guys though who don't have that option it is largely useless.

Yep, she is around a 5.5/10 so slightly above average but quite common. https://i.imgur.com/DOAkTE1.png https://i.imgur.com/IJPbvL9.png The thing is that majority of the population is overweight, so if you're thin you're automatically at least above average. While this is technically true it isn't really how people are actually judged. That is what the premise of game is. You engage in emotionally stimulating conversation to try to get her to be sexually interested. While black pillers would argue that game is pointless the average man's interest in game has been going up in the past decade due to dating difficulties so I would still argue this is common knowledge. Women even created the term demisexual and it was trending for a while. The common joke was that it was just a synonym for a heterosexual woman since the majority o…

we demonstrate how the process of mainstreaming incel beliefs is facilitated by their interconnectedness with wider sexism and structural misogyny. the female gaze “sees people as people.” “The truth is that men tend to care a lot about aesthetics in their partner, but women don’t really care that much about it.” Absolute nonsense at best you could argue women don't care that much about muscular aesthetics but they primarily make their decisions based on facial aesthetics which is why chadfishing is possible.

That isn't true whatsoever. 3/10 women can easily hookup with 6-7+/10 guys that leaves nothing leftover for the 3/10 men. These guys are left with no options for getting laid unless you are counting escorts which are illegal in the u.s. and very expensive.

Assuming the black woman has good behavioral traits she will have no difficulty getting a long term relationship. If you've ever watched kevin samuels most of the black women on that show say that they have been proposed to before and that they choose to decline it to look for someone better. So as always it is just women choosing to stay single instead of partnering up with someone on their level.

I agree with everything for the most part with two minor caveats. If an average person is calling you a 6/10 in real life then you are actually below average since they usually give people 7/10s however if you are on /r/truerateme attractive starts at about a 5.5-6/10. Most women also prefer a natural athletic physique over a ripped steroid physique so being ripped isn't particularly important.

Morbidly obese women are still in high demand so nothing you said bears out in reality. The things you listed are nice to haves but women with none of those features still have hundreds to thousands of guys who are interested in them. There is a reason why all the femcel subreddits have to ban men from trying to date them because ultimately there are enough disadvantaged guys that no matter how ugly the woman is there will be numerous guys interested in her.

There was a popular song about 10 years ago called my type and the creator's type in women was "you're just my type Oh, you got a pulse and you are breathing." Which I think sums up what most men are looking for pretty accurately.
/r/AllPillDebate05/10/23 11:56 PM

The data shows that they would rather remain single than get together with an undesirable guy. The current estimates are that roughly 45% of women between 24-44 will remain single by 2030. Whether they are struggling to get commitment from top tier guys or not doesn't change the fact that it isn't going to get easier for average to below average guys. https://www.morganstanley.com/ideas/womens-impact-on-the-economy

Older women are also less desirable in the dating world. Less desirable than young women but still more desirable than 99.9% of men so that isn't really a factor. If a man takes care of himself, he's more desirable in the dating world for a lengthier span of time. (30-60) That isn't particularly true these days now that women are making more money they would still rather be with a good looking guy than a short or ugly guy who makes roughly the same amount as her.

If you are not autistic, have a good bf %, have visible abs and muscles, have a job, what's left to do? At what point can I stop blaming myself and accept that not everything is in my control and genetics determine a great part of your life? The only real option that remains is betabuxing but that requires a large amount of money these days and since they won't really love you the divorce risk is even higher.
/r/AllPillDebate05/10/23 07:41 PM
6

Its true and if they want to make themselves more desirable it is trivially easy as well. To have an attractive physique as a man you need to be lucky genetically to be tall, have a good jawline, and be able to put on muscle. For women just being at a healthy bodyfat percentage is already enough to make them stand out which requires vastly less effort than building muscle. And even then if they choose to do nothing at all and just remain obese they still have an abundance of options. Not to ment…

I would say it is less about age and more about the reason for your lack of experience. If you tried to get a girlfriend and failed because they found you too ugly or too short then it might be over for you without major changes. If you were just bluepilled and waiting around hoping for something to happen which led to you never taking any action then you might still have a chance. Also if you were focused on making money then geomaxxing could be a possibility as well.
/r/AllPillDebate28/09/23 05:12 PM
14

Correct, commitment from top men (the best looking or the highest status) is scarce and because women almost exclusively want top men it makes them think it is scarce in general. I would also be interested when your second point's data was gathered since it seems to be missing a source. Assuming it was gathered in the last 10 years or so though it doesn't surprise me that low tier to average guys are trying to offer commitment quickly in an attempt get women to stick around.
/r/AllPillDebate28/09/23 02:24 AM
7

Yep, for that reason I would also say it is largely pointless. Not to mention depending on the country it can be very expensive and illegal.
/r/AllPillDebate27/09/23 04:35 PM

I would also agree with focusing on developing a skill set where you could afford plastic surgery instead of trying something like bone smashing.
/r/AllPillDebate27/09/23 03:32 PM
11

Even bluepillers would agree with avoiding online dating if you aren't a top 30% guy. Meeting women in real life of course isn't particularly effective either but whereas you might never get matches online you can at least have some conversations in real life which might have a slim chance of going somewhere.
/r/AllPillDebate27/09/23 03:10 PM

The difference in sexual access between sub5 women and attractive women is minor. Even a 2/10 will still have abundant sexual options. Or in other words there is no hierarchy. It is a bit like asking why are people who make $5 million a year satisfied with their income when people who make $200 million exist and the answer is because it is still more than enough money.
/r/AllPillDebate27/09/23 03:40 AM
4

A clashing personality would be my assumption since the question is fairly pointless otherwise. A polar opposite interpreted as different but complementary personality traits would just mean that is the strictly better option.
/r/AllPillDebate26/09/23 08:54 PM

By this do you mean that bad looks will make people perceive your personality more negatively?

You already said you are a voluntary celebate because you know guys are interested in having sex with you for free. The only option that incels have is paying which in a country where sex work is illegal like the U.S. can easily cost thousands of dollars and you can get arrested. If an incel said what you said though about not wanting to have sex with the women who find him attractive I would agree with you that he isn't an incel but a volcel just like you.
/r/AllPillDebate26/09/23 01:49 AM

Full body deformity. i think the equivalent is being flat chested and having no ass. short men aren’t masculine enough and flat women aren’t feminine enough we look like little boys. These aren't really similar at all since women with those attributes are still sexually desired. /r/cutelittlebutts and /r/tinytits both have 1 million followers and you can find numerous other nsfw subreddits about these features as well. women complaining that no men are interested in them Those women will also tell you that they refuse to use online dating. Their problem also typically stems from inability to lock down chad not just having sex with him. The OP of these threads is a textbook example of refusing to use online dating. https://old.reddit.com/r/AllPillDebate/comments/16lwttc/im_tired_bro/ https://old.reddit.com/r/AllPillDebate/comments/16lyylq/im_so_sick_of_yall/k152s0e/

Seemingly there are attractive guys who are still having sex with obese women who are 3/10s so I would say the threshold is that they aren't majorly deformed.

I would lean towards face but at either extreme it can carry you. A 6'10 guy who is a 3/10 will probably still be fairly popular in clubs and real life. A 10/10 guy who is 5'2 is going to be hot enough that there will be some girls interested. If you had to choose between being a 6/10 in one vs a 4/10 in the other though I'd say a 6/10 face would be the way to go.

They can't get commitment from chad, high status, or mega rich guys ($100m+) but besides that commitment is trivial to get. Most guys in the average range trivially hand out commitment these days from what I've observed. Women are still the initiators of pretty much all breakups.

I would say just the 8/10 1 in 1000 face is sufficient to be called a chad assuming he is at least 5'10-5'11. For example, I would say young Brad Pitt would be a chad even though he is only 5'11. 6'5 + top tier face falls more into the giga chad range.

It is because at any time you could go on online dating and find someone. While you probably haven't gotten any romantic attention in real life the alternative options are always available. We've seen that it doesn't really matter what your physical attributes are you will still do fine on online dating. Morbidly obese women still gets lots of attention on online dating, old women, handicapped with brittle bones disease, legless, and so on.

Men are notorious for overrating women. Look at any rating sub on a woman's post and completely average girls will get 7s, 8s, or 9s. I think some guys are also adding 1-2 points to their rating if they see blond hair. https://old.reddit.com/r/Rateme/comments/15in5lg/19f_please_rate_and_be_brutally_honest_tips_would/ https://old.reddit.com/r/Rateme/comments/15eqgfr/18f_no_make_up_couple_angles_give_me_the_cold/

In this comments defence, most Tinder photos do in fact suck. Most people's dating profiles suck in general, combined with being cookie cutter among one another. Conversely I will say that I've seen my sister randomly swipe through guys on Tinder before and in virtually no instances was the picture quality/environment the deciding factor. Good looks are still apparent in a selfie and bad looks are still apparent in professional photos.
/r/AllPillDebate17/08/23 01:42 AM

Finding marriage minded men who are of decent quality is trivially easy as long the women don't have their standards raised to the moon. My sister has found numerous high earning ($150k-$250k) loyal guys who all would've been interested in marrying her and she has broken it off every time for petty reasons. Most of these women are just suffering from the Choice Overload Bias and then creating artificial reasons to justify their lack of making a decision.

Yep, this "sarcasm" like "Finding a partner for a woman is just as easy as blinking" is just a fact. It is as easy or difficult as they choose to make it out to be. My sister who is about a 6/10 has had an endless stream of high earning men ($150k-$250k) to go out with on online dating and she always finds random things to complain about to justify moving onto the next guy. Those can all be elements of attraction however as online dating has shown if the guy isn't physically attractive he won't get any matches to begin with to show off his personality or values. I would argue that attraction starts with the physical and then everything else is about retaining that level of attraction. If you aren't physically attractive enough retaining your current level through good hygiene and cleanliness isn't going to help you.

I think the key distinction is ugly by the dictionary definition which is someone who is repulsive to look at versus someone who simply isn't attractive. Guys who aren't found to be attractive are very common and when your looks never receive any appreciation that leads to them feeling ugly even if they aren't literally repulsive. In places that don't filter for more attractive people though most of the guys definitely fall into the unattractive category.

For bills that was just meant to encompass groceries, gas, and utilities. Yeah I guess it just comes down to what luxuries you want. /r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 02:38 AM

Assuming the rent is about $2k a month + lets say around $1.5k of miscellaneous bills that would leave you with $2000 per month of potential luxury purchases or $24k per year. I guess if you specifically want to fly first class that wouldn't go very far but at least for more basic things like having the latest technology or driving a nice new car it will be plenty. What type of luxuries are you thinking of when you say that $24k is insufficient?

Do you think many men would? Plenty of passport bros are leaving the country just to find women who make less money and will value them more. In addition the higher the guys income the less her income matters. My brothers are both top 1% earners and one's wife made about $60k with limited room for growth and my other brother's current girlfriend was making $25k with no room for growth. Having a higher income gives you the freedom to select based on other traits that you value more.

I already live a pretty privileged life making 120k Exactly, if you aren't in an ultra high cost of living area 120k is already enough to buy pretty much all the luxuries you would want outside of super cars.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/23 02:15 AM

Yep, $80k is what nurses make in my city fresh out of college with a virtually guaranteed chance of getting hired and this in a city that only has slightly above average cost of living in the U.S. A teacher at public school makes $60k here and they get 3 months off every year + a pension. Getting hired is also virtually guaranteed fresh out of college. $130k is about where I would start calling an income successful and that is the top 10%.

they don’t actually want a compliment or affirmation unless it’s from someone they deem attractive I would agree with that. Aha, so you feel the reward is that the journey to achieve success will build up your discipline to a point that you will overall have a more successful life. I can see the reasoning to an extent but I would still argue that a substantial portion of men chase success/fame to get women so the actual reward over the tutorial players is very small.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/23 04:16 AM

You didn't answer the question about the extra rewards. For example, if you were to claim the reward for your hard work is money the same would apply for tutorial mode players who also worked hard and earned money.

Playing the game has better rewards than sticking to tutorial mode, What most guys would consider winning the game is being highly desirable to a majority of women and that equivalent is already achieved by default for the tutorial mode players. What extra rewards do you think men are getting over women in exchange for the increased difficulty levels?

Being born with an ugly face is basically a death sentence for women. Women, however, lose their beauty over time, and have little to compensate for it, at least superficially. Perhaps 80 years ago but these days as online dating has demonstrated no matter how ugly, overweight, or old a woman is she will have plenty of options to choose from. This has been tested and demonstrated numerous times and it isn't purely attention for sex either. In summary, men have the PRIVILEGE of working for their …

I think that the attention that people receive while in a filtered state boosts their ego and causes them to be more picky and choose other people assuming that their filtered looks level is their real life level. This is already happening though so I don't expect it to change any more significantly than it already has.

I agree with you OP and I'll be interested to see what people try to argue against here. Those are all privileges that women enjoy that result in them having an easier life.

Just his bolded points are sufficient for his argument so I've turned it into a list. women have far more latitude with which to beautify themselves The conventional paragon of female beauty is easier to attain for many women Many women won't ever know the despair that comes with long-term romantic and sexual alienation. women by and large can get away with being significantly less funny, less socially skilled, and less effortful in conversation Most women can potentially make serious money sell…

Being in the top .01% for any category you listed there will make you highly desirable. Personally, I think money or charisma are the best two options since you can buy status with money or you can use your charisma to make money easily as well.

Of course men could also just offer commitment from the get-go and get a 5 or 6 if that's what they are themselves. In terms of relationships, couples all around the world are almost always looksmatched, in like 99% of couples you see. Women don't want commitment from undesirable men. Plenty of simps offer their commitment and money to women every day and it gets them nothing in return.

63% of men between 18-30 are single1 (defined as not being in a relationship, married, or living together) so while you might see some young men in a relationship they are the minority and the trends are showing they are only getting more single not less. The odds of all 63% of them having unreasonably high standards just isn't realistic. In addition the women in that age bracket are only 32% single so they are still getting together with guys just not young guys for the most part.

Because a man who is delusional will not see results in line with the delusion. If you tell a 5 he is a 9 and that he will crush online dating he is just going to get depressed when he actually gets no results.

Exactly, when you are 5'3 and the average woman in the U.S. is taller than you it doesn't matter if you aren't fat you are simply too short to be appealing to her. One of my female cousins who is 5'1 flat out said she won't date "short kings".

She was meant to represent average facial features for someone who isn't fat. Link a woman who you feel has average facial features who isn't overweight in the 20-25 age range.

The discrepancy comes from most people who aren't familiar with rating using 6.5-7/10 for average looks. This results in about a 2 point variance between the ratings you will find from people online vs offline. This woman for example has average facial features and would probably get around a 5-5.25 online but guys in real life would probably give her a 6.5-7 even though they are both describing an average person.

Most men overestimate their attractiveness. Correct, I've found that most men are just bad at evaluating other men's attractiveness in general. They will frequently either overrate or underrate other guys which is why they are often confused as to whether a couple is actually looks matched.

Yep, 5'6-5'7 is around the minimum height a guy can be before it starts to become a major issue. At 5'9 while your height isn't an advantage it is still tall enough for most women to be content with.

somehow out of average guys' league There is no mystery to it there is a supply and demand issue when it comes to dating. The demand for average and below average men is low while the demand for average and below average women is high. Or in other words since below average women have too many options on online dating to choose from they will naturally choose the best of those options which naturally results in the exclusion of men who otherwise would have been their equivalent.

Maybe dating has become harder in this current time but I don't think that's true It has and the statistics make it quite apparent. It is also worth mentioning that most men aren't good at evaluating other men's physical attractiveness so while you might think he is below average it is possible that he is actually average to above average excluding something obvious like being overweight/obese.

You are trying to improve your situation while you are still young so you will most likely be able to fix your predicament if you put active effort into it. It is also fine to have no friend group but as you already realized it will make finding a relationship more difficult. Personally for me I've always found it easy to socialize with people but when it comes down to it in my personal time I would rather be alone than do things with others so I haven't actively tried to expand my friend group …

Most men have had sex in the last year (US). An overwhelming majority in fact. A growing minority of 28% of men in the 18-30 year old range is not having sex but you are correct for now. More than 50% of men who are single are single by choice and not interested in dating at the moment or accepting advances. So the actual single-not-by-choice percentage is pretty low. You have to account for age and people lying to themselves. I'm not sure what data you are specifically referring to here but at …

I'm extrapolating based on the amount of men who haven't had sex in a year, the trend of online dating getting more difficult every year for men, and online dating becoming the primary way to meet people. Financial institutions are also predicting that by 2030 45% of women will remain single. I'm curious what your optimism is based off of that around 95% of men will still be able to obtain sex and relationships despite the current data showing otherwise.

98% of people have sex/dates/relationships in their lives Historical stats aren't particularly relevant in an online dating world. I wouldn't be surprised if we see that drop to 40-60% for males who were born after 2014 over the course of their lifetime.

Having a healthy BMI already puts you in the top 30% Depends on the age range. The op of this chain was 18 at which point only around 56% of 18-25 year olds are overweight or obese. I will also say most women in the 18-25 year old range who are overweight but not obese would still be found attractive.
