What’s ironic is that the advice FDS gives is more conservative (e.g. never ask a man out) than the advice she gives (seek men out). Conservative and traditional women operate within the dating rules that FDS promotes, so I don’t see her problem. Oh wait, I know why she doesn’t like FDS. She tells women to lower their standards, so that men tell her she is ‘one of the good ones’.

Even a silver ring off Etsy can be bought for $30 and silver will last for a long time and is a traditional material. Men disappoint so often.

Let’s be honest, women need guidance to date men bc men take advantage of women. Dating women is a breeze for me, but I find a lot of the advice given here applies to any romantic relationship, and even non-romantic relationships. I think female dating strategy goes beyond finding a husband or whatever, there’s great life advice too. Thank you ladies and thank you mods <3

Every adult woman I know has had a man coerce her (or try) into sexual activities. We’ve all been touched inappropriately against our will. None of us are safe, so why should we label men as ‘safe’ if we have no evidence to support that. Men are unsafe until proven otherwise. And that’s on my conservative upbringing.

Same with a cousin of mine. She’s been so successful in her career and chased her dreams relentlessly. And now she’s in her mid forties married to a lovely man and a has a healthy baby with him. And she can give her baby everything she never had, which is the dream tbh

Did you get to prove it was your work? How did you manage it? It’s so infuriating when someone takes credit for your work, I’m so sorry that happened to you

They want a subset of women to be the designated ‘girls you can legally rape’. That’s it. It all boils down to.... muh dicc

Nah I’m here to make sure I stay single. I just can’t help being in relationships with fit and handsome men (as an average woman). But they take up too much time and I need good grades so I can secure the bag. When/if I start dating again, I’ll be trying to find the man I’m gonna have kids with, not the guy who writes think-pieces on FDS.

This might sound like unsolicited advice, but I’ll say it anyway. Maybe you could invest in some contact lenses? Some daily ones for occasional use, that way you don’t have to go into your bag to see. Your story is terrifying, I hope you’ve recovered 💝

I really enjoyed the book, the Life and Loves of a She-Devil. Though I always took it as a cautionary tale to not let revenge take over your life. Yeah she got her revenge, but she was left with nothing at the end. Not even her children. Even when I was a kid, I found the message to be ‘cast away those who don’t treat you well, and then don’t look back.’ Ruth spent her life trying to get back at her husband in really intricate ways, the perfect revenge fantasy. But the ending was sad, and I alwa…

Exactly. He’s taking away two meals from people who truly need them. And he has the audacity to say women need to humble themselves. How can he sit next to homeless people and eat the food made for them? A true embarrassment to society.

Hah my ex said that Mitski couldn’t sing >:o I assume a lot of her audience is female, and so many guys think ‘girly’ music is trash and devoid of technical ability. But to me, music, or any art, makes you feel emotions deeply. He couldn’t find emotion in women artists. That should’ve told me all I needed to know.

He sounds exactly like the type of man that complains about women wearing masculine, baggy clothes. They want us to show off our figure, but not tooooo much 🙄

It looked slow and intentional to me, and the fact that he didn’t react or say sorry to her or anything makes me think he has pedo tendencies. It’s been a while since I saw it though, so I could be mistaken.

I saw a gif of him at a movie premiere where he had his arms around two kids either side of him. On one side there’s a girl who looks 10 years old, he reaches down and puts his hand on her chest and squeezes and she rips his arm away and glares at him so hard. And he keeps talking to another adult the whole time, not even acknowledging what he just did...

I’m sure she feels the need to gas herself up on Instagram because her fiancé clearly does not find her attractive anymore. She’s desperate online because she’s desperate in real life, and he doesn’t care. He only cares about her image. Hope she leaves. Because he won’t, even though he finds her repulsive.

Black women excel far past black men in every regard. Yet still, black men love to bring any black woman down because they really can’t handle it.

‘Expectations are not fine.’ Why? Is he worried he won’t meet them? Anyone being honest with themselves will know that they have expectations of how their spouse should behave (most of the time). I expect a man to be generous.

It’s how he treats me and loves me that I’m looking for. Degree, white collar job, that stuff doesn’t matter because a good man WILL turn up for me when I need it. He won’t let me go hungry or allow our hypothetical kids to suffer. These men tend to have a good head on their shoulders. And they don’t stink.
