do people actually think like this? this sounds just depressing
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/21 05:40 PM

The only people that create those labels are other men. the most common insult online towards men who get in an argument with a woman is incel/virgin or some variation of that

something that is a prerequisite for sex, not an alternative to it did you say this part? because atm it reads like he wanted a long term relationship and you told him to be just be friends
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/21 06:21 AM

isn't that the "date a guy and deny sex for months but have a fwb on the side" sub?

ITT the unfortunate ugly homeless man is seen as a human being. He is extended pity for it. what universe are you from?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/21 01:52 PM

sounds like the same thing except instead of a 1-10 scale it's just a 1 or 10
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/21 08:04 AM

This can lead to men being physically attracted to relatively few women. what alternate universe are you from?

this is one of those chicken or egg things, did men starting to play more games lead to less hook ups and relationships or did the lack of success in dating due to a changing dating scene lead them to giving up and playing more games

No one is a mindreader if it quacks like a duck...
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/21 05:16 PM

I'm pleasantly surprised that the majority of responders are answering in the enthusiastic affirmative but why? It's how society has been set up under a male dominated system for thousands of years...
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 02:01 PM

then you might also want to complain about other women who vocally prefer men "demonstrate confidence and initiative" (and see those who don't as low-value) for incentivizing that behavior at your expense. they don't mean all men
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/21 09:19 PM

it's obviously a joke post...

Women don’t like it because it reenforces double standards. there is no double standard, both genders are judging the sexual history of the opposite gender, women are shamed if they have too much, men if they have none/too little

Have you ever seen a line of thirsty dudes waiting on nice, kind, pretty to average girls with interests, the ones that are just a good human beings? yes
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/21 08:04 AM

no why would I? most women would love to marry the stereotypical "chad" "fuckboy", whatever the current term is, the issue is their inability to keep him committed to her for whatever reason
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/21 01:43 PM
1

there is no difference between the two
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/21 07:33 PM

this is the reason, when women think "muscular" they think about body builders not Hemsworth
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/21 07:25 PM

it's funny isn't it, if you are a top 20% man, or friends with one that is, it's not really hard to see the difference in how women treat those men, they aren't being exactly subtle about it
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/21 07:58 PM
4

it's really funny isn't it, I don't quite understand if they really don't get it or just pretend to not get it to make some bad "aha gotcha!" point

rule 1 and rule 2
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/21 08:16 PM

mostly seems to be the result of a complete lack of attention from women to the point where even an obviously toxic relationship like this seems to be better than nothing
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/21 08:42 PM

How do I stand any chance when i’m trying to get LTRs but guys refuse to commit pick different guys
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/21 01:56 PM
2

that's very very rarely true, few people are master manipulators to the point where they completely mask their personality for weeks or even months (hence my "obvious asshole"), most of the time there are obvious signs and half her family going "he's going to hurt you" same for men and golddiggers, if the person is hot a lot of obvious big red flags get ignored
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/21 08:03 PM
3

it's hilarious how women can spot a niceguy(tm) at night at 20 miles, against the wind in a fog but they can't figure out that the obvious asshole is an asshole until it's too late

How are you linking that with privilege? what? please google apex fallacy first

/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/21 02:44 PM

It's a very good thing for society, that you don't get to use your ugly af little pencil. you do understand how this insult is kinda the opposite of the picture right?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/21 01:28 AM

yes, more than one man exists on this planet and not all of them think the same way, shocking I know

Kristen Bell type

so it is consistently ignored by men here. it's ignored because most of the discussion is by straight men and I don't think many of them are looking to get into LTRs with men, you are of course free to make a thread about it
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/20 11:19 PM
1

but the same exact thing can be said for men as well. sure it can, but men have no influence on how those men are perceived by women, you might not desire them (assuming you aren't lying) but that's just you
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/20 04:15 PM

or you know, more than one man exist on this planet and not all of them want the same thing

you never felt happy or rewarded after buying yourself something nice?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/20 04:33 PM

By that very logic women who want low n partners would be especially justified in ruling out men who fail to stay virgins. no one is stopping them

how can you miss the point of a shitty 6 panel comic with like 40 words this hard
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/20 09:48 AM

it's just an example of someone using the apex fallacy, most men want a long term relationship with someone who loves and cherishes them
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/20 09:41 AM

of course they do, if you are after a relationship don't hook up with those men, it's not exactly rocket science
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/20 09:31 AM
2

this argument doesn't work because most men still consider average women to be attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/20 09:07 AM

now really think about what you just wrote

One of the defining problems of TRP is the way it oversimplifies things. humans aren't the special little snowflakes they think they are

Women have to wade through a lot of bad options. I'd rather have choice between a meh pizza or steak than starve to death
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/20 09:26 PM
1

no data shows this, it's actually the complete opposite, all data has shown that men rate a lot more women as attractive than women do men, to say that men have an unrealistic body standard when their view of what is attractive is a lot more broad than women's is just baffling
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/20 07:14 PM

it’s either “hot or not” They’re just in the gray area of “idk.” makes me think
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/20 03:30 PM

Yet, no one will dispute the fact that women actually spend time and ressources into looking good. Women in general will have way more clothes than men, and spend way more time taking care of their skin, hair. They will wear accessories (like jewelry). 90% of the things you listed is to make yourself look better in front of other women, most men won't notice those things unless, like your strawman example, you put on a stinky dirty t-shirt and call it a day, most men will find you just as attrac…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/20 04:34 PM
4

They're invisible to you. the reason people say that majority of men are invisible to women is because those men aren't attractive to them. The same isn't true for men, a majority of women are attractive to the average man, so you can't say that those women are invisible to men unless you agree that only a very small % of women fit the description in which case his point is on average still true
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/20 04:43 PM
1

Toxic masculinity: ‘boys don’t cry’, ‘man up’, etc. Stuff that forgets that men have emotions and are humans capable of being hurt and sad. the cliches exist because men realized very fast that nothing makes a woman more disgusted in you than opening up emotionally to her, the internet is full of men sharing their negative expiriances of opening up to a woman, even a long term partner
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/20 12:06 AM

To put it in terms you would understand why do you care about the health of your society because I'm one of the idiots who lives in it

That man has a chance for love now. she doesn't love him and never will
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/20 05:32 PM

the "men don't notice average women" is such a hilarious "no you!" but utterly divorced from all reality and statistics
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/20 04:32 PM

most of you wouldn't last a week if you had to live with the utter lack of attention or acknowledgment of being a human being most men experience all their lives
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/20 10:13 AM

tl:dr Attractive = nice, ugly = just pretending to be nice
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/20 08:10 AM

the most likely explanation is that the guys were already in serious relationships or that the girls had a reputation

a woman who knows her husband is sleeping around with other women behind her back is generally not going to feel loved or desired. jesus are you okay? that was some major goal post moving your back must be in agony
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/20 08:24 PM
5

look at feminist, misandrist, left wing women, right wing women, centrist, white black, etc etc the nb 1 insult for men they have is virgin or the more modern incel I think this says all about what women think about low n-count men
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/20 02:41 PM
1

straight men don't date men, if you want to discuss it no one is stopping you from doing it, also most women prefer men with higher n-counts because it shows the male as desirable, so shrug
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/20 01:36 PM
4

except people tend to assortatively mate on this score, too. so no. men find a much wider variety of women hot, just because she isn't a supermodel doesn't mean her man won't find her hot and no that's not settling like women do, because the man still finds the woman attractive and sexually appealing, women settle with men they have no attraction to
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/20 06:40 PM

I find it somehow mind-boggling that lying is so casually accepted heh
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/20 07:52 PM
4

But again, where’s the shaming of men sleeping around casually? make a thread? a straight man isn't going to make thread about the issues of dating men with a high count...

This is true of men who are already as a group more likely to cheat. then stop choosing those men
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/20 02:04 PM

he said the complete opposite...
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/20 09:40 AM

The problem is, these men are hard to tell from men who are interested in more than sex. not really, the vast majority of men want a stable loving long term relationship and they are really easy to tell from men who just want you for sex, if you keep picking b over a it says more about you than about men The problem is that men may perceive waiting for sex as a lack of interest on the woman's part (especially if he later discovers that she has had short term hookups in the past). if she had sex …

now imagine that life without all the people who supported you (if you noticed them or not) and without that boyfriend at 22 and you might get close to what a lonely man goes through
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/20 04:22 PM
2

they are not mocked because they are virgins. do you like actually believe this?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/20 05:27 PM
11

It's just a question if what you want- fulfilling sex life with a previously "promiscuous" woman or a dead bedroom with a "high quality virgin"- most men who end up with reformed sluts suffer from dead bedrooms because she is "over that phase" aka only married him for his resources and has zero attraction to him, you basically end up in the same situation except she's much more likely to cheat, sounds like a really shit deal to me
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/20 02:01 PM
6

no one stops you from bringing it up, men on here often tell women to not pick men with a high number of sexual partners, but the advice is ignored because women consider men with a lot of previous partners to be more desirable. That's not something men can change
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/20 01:33 PM
25

I know "no u!" is popular these days, but it simply doesn't work that way, there are multiple studies proving that men consider a wide range of women to be attractive, the whole "women don't knowledge the existence of most men" only works because there is actual data to support the notion that most women consider about 80% of men to be unattractive
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/20 05:51 PM
2

no one ever said it doesn't, in fact many people multiple times in this thread told women to stop choosing promiscuous men who had many partners, yet it falls on deaf ears
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/20 04:31 PM
1

no that's just the apex fallacy, you are basing your views of all men on the top % of men who used you for sex while in reality they only represent a minority of men
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/20 04:09 PM
2

attractive men I sleep with only use me for sex and that's the fault of the men who aren't getting any sex at all I don't get it
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/20 05:37 PM
-1

they definitely care way more about looks. all the data says you are wrong
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/20 08:22 PM
3

this is just the apex fallacy, majority of men also want a relationship, it's just that those men are invisible to most women, so the only men they see are those who just want them for sex also I'd be willing to bet most people saying "oh being wanted just for sex is worse" wouldn't be able to survive a week as one of those invisible men, being wanted for sex means you are still wanted, something a lot of men can only dream off
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/20 09:28 AM
1

this is one of those "what women say vs what women do" things
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/20 03:40 PM
1

Couldn't the same be said of men? no because men don't consider these women to be unattractive
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/20 04:46 PM
1

to it being biased in what way was it biased Second, your opinions and feelings don’t equal facts. this coming from the guy that said to ignore the study
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/20 05:37 AM

it's a thing I've been noticing lately where people take RP terms and observations and go "no you!"
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/20 09:59 AM

Women aren't valued "for who they are" women and children first
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/20 11:24 AM
1

rewarded with being seen as a human being and gasp maybe even loved by someone
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/20 12:54 PM
2

Women could every bit as easily say we only care about the women that look like models. they could, but there are statistics that would easily disprove such a statement
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/20 01:03 PM
2

When you are that level of promiscuity I believe it is because you are actively looking for sex partners all the time. That would break the attraction for me. Sexual history: as long as you and the other person were consenting adults and not involved in shady practices, or adultery, I don’t want to hear about it because I have nothing to say about it nor can I judge. really makes me think
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/20 12:16 PM
1

nah, this is just you projecting your feelings on men
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/20 02:39 PM
2

Like the guy a few post up said, she already showed that if there is attraction she is going to have sex, so when you are made to wait an arbitrary amount of time it's a clear sign she doesn't find you as attractive and is just using you for other benefits. Unsurprisingly few men want to go into a LTR with someone who doesn't find them attractive and is obviously just using them.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/20 05:23 AM
2

Women are afraid of being pumped and dumped. They don't withhold sex to make you "work for it," but rather to know you like them due to their personality and not just out of lust. yep, completely normal with a woman who had a zero to a few LTR in her life and most men looking for a long term relationship would have zero issues with it (I think) but that's not the type of woman the OP is talking about
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/20 06:55 PM
2

I've honest to god never seen fuckboi used as an insults against men who have a lot of sex, mostly just as a substitute for creep or even more common as a way to describe socially conservative men, men who funnily enough would be more likely to want long term stable relationships with one woman instead of sleeping around
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/20 06:02 PM
3

There are plenty of studies showing that men find a much larger % of women attractive than women do men
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/20 09:10 AM

honestly I only heard about FDS existing recently and never been there, I thought it's like TRP with a bunch of women making up strategies with how to get more one night stands waiting 3 months, or however long she needs to figure out that this is a relationship worth pursuing is commendable from my pov, my only issue is that it well kinda sounds like this only happens to some men, aka " kinda unattractive guy I'm willing to settle with will wait 3 months but if I meet mr perfect my panties are …
