You're not necessarily wrong, but this is where it gets funny. I think we all want someone to desire us for non materialistic reasons. I honestly I believe there's a mix between the material and emotional connection. I think we all wan that.. the problem is finding it. It's funny to think about.. Men get all pissed b/c women won't date them b/c they're broke. But, men w/ $ often complain they can't find a woman who doesn't focus on $. Or.. those men just use women then the women complain.. Guys …

Ive had lots of long term relationships. The struggle is being mid-life. I have a female friend that likes to say dating midlife for women is like gambling on horseracing. Except the race is already over and you get to pick from the winners and losers. Essentially, most guys lives are structured and their success or failure is pretty much sealed. In your 20's its more about building together. Most women as they hit mid 30's start really thinking about what their future will look like

Companionship, cooking, cleaning, sex.

Not really.. I suppose it depends. Hear me out. I have a ton of intensive hobbies. Im overflowing with them. Im 40's and kids are grown, not not having any more. So if the hobbies make 0 difference we're going at beauty, company, sex etc.. The truth is that later in life relationships bc far more transactional. If Im looking for beauty and very active, Im certainly going 10 yrs younger too..

Triggered sounds like a very blue pill word. In a relationship, Im not going to be the one doing it. Its really pretty simple. Same with most cleaning, laundry etc. I can afford to have come in and clean my house, laundry etc. Eating is usually going out or very simple stuff.

As a man, I find this notion sad. I personally have 0 interest in upping my lifestyle through another person. But, apparently women often see this very differently. Objectively, I get it.. But, I still find it disheartening.

Oh no doubt. I can absolutely cook and clean, otherwise I wouldn't be alive. The point is that certain people lend themselves to certain activities. Essentially, preferences. I would naturally want someone who enjoys doing the things I hate to do most. In my scenario, its cooking and cleaning. Every decent relationship I had sorya fit into this scenario.I naturally then handle the financial stuff, physically harder activities etc. Etc... Why are women so triggered by this??????

So, when someone gives their experience.. I just like to see the type of person. Without knowing details about someone's situation, it's sorta worthless. How do you counter someone's individual experience???? Not even sure that's possible. Maybe this is where red pill and blue pill clash? I'll elaborate.. You found an unfit guy that will bake you bread and sew you stuff. Maybe that's your jam.. fair enough. I personally have never dated a woman over a size 4. I like very fit women, just my thing…

I don't even know what to say to this. I'm trying not to be judgmental or rude.. but ouch. FYI, your profile also says you learned you're not a lesbian and are actually bi.. but your story talks about a relationship w/ a man who you've been married now to many years.. I'm a very fit middle aged guy who does extremely well.. Women bring me food quite a lot.. and truthfully, I freaking love it. It's actually my thing. But, to imagine me doing it for a woman.. um.. So, hard truth, If I'm expected t…

I think our core beliefs are just too different. Maybe it's a life stage thing? Women in their 20's often sorta focus on things like connection etc.. etc.. 30's+ is a whole different ballpark. A conclusion I had to come to recently is comprehending a women's focus on finances. At face value I think it's sorta disgusting, but I can understand. I personally will retire rather early. If together w/ a woman, I'd prefer she not work either so we can do stuff. A woman doing everything alone (single) i…

Is it? I think there's a huge double standard that goes on here. Anytime a woman demands a man earn a certain amount of $, she's absolutely a red pill person. Blue focuses on connection, equality etc.. But, tons of women demand a man be "x" tall, earn "y" amount etc. etc.. I often feel like women are purple pill.. b/c they will pick whatever is best for them. I do think many red pill people come off like assholes.. But, often they're speaking the reality of how desirable women operate. If women …

That's so strange.. b/c I read your advice and thought it was horrible. I can't imagine telling a young guy to invest his valuable time into things like "cooking", "emotional intelligence" etc..

I'd like to go down the supply and demand topic. The problem are the standards women often have. Most women have a preference towards men that are taller, make more $ Most men have a preference towards women that are slightly younger and more attractive. Having kids to another man is often a big issue too. So, when an unfit middle aged women w/ young kids start demanding a 6ft tall man w/ 6 digit salary.. This is where the problem exists. The woman possesses none of the desirable traits that mos…

25 and 40's probably not.. But 25 and 35, certainly. The bottom line is that women financial security far more than most things. Men value looks over most things. Look at how many middle aged male celebrities are married to 20's women. Although, now we're talking status and $. Except, this rarely happens vice versa. In the end, the few guys with $, status etc.. do insanely well. A huge portion of women get the desirability optionality in their 20's. I think the more women focus on finances, life…

to that point.. when we look at REmarriages. 20% of men marry a woman 10+ yrs his junior. 18% marry a woman 6-9 yrs his junior. Avg disparity is 2.1 yrs or so for the 1st marriage, but over 5 for remarriages. If you look at men wholistically.. as they age the disparity of their partner increases till death. It's a linear going upwards.

This is true when younger, but really changes around mid life. Post childbearing years is a very very different game. Marriage statistics actually support this as 20% of men remarry a woman that is 10+ yrs his junior.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 03:20 PM

I do think women have this problem. But, I'm also the guy only attracted to maybe 10% of women. Honestly, probably less.. So, this definitely goes both ways. Now, part of this is certainly an age and lifestyle thing Ex. I'm in my 40's, I don't date women in their 40's or older. I don't date women w/ young kids (My kid is an adult). I also don't date women who aren't physically fit. Now, I've had women approach me who and when I don't reciprocate they fly off the freaking handle. I think the wors…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 06:50 PM

Well.. I think the problem is that many women want to relate to that lifestyle. Actually, experience it. I made the point you just made too. If looking for someone with a similar lifestyle, women would want to stay in an income range. Except, most dont see to have a top.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:26 AM

The problem is most women don't say "full time job". Income is the criteria. I posed this question recently in reddit and a ton of women referenced "maintaing a certain lifestyle ". Whoever earns more .. has a lifestyle that diminishes to a certain degree. Men will give that up to have someone with them they care about, many women will not. Just how it works.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:15 AM

To see the error here. Just flip it around. Imagine guys not being with women because their income is subpar. You are literally saying you will only look sideways or up to a man financially. But, the man may be looking down, which you're fine with. Im a little on the higher end of income, assets etc. I regularly get "Finally, a man that earns more than me". Its pretty much over after that line. I truly don't care about a woman's income or even debt. Most women have ridiculous debt. Rather, Im lo…

Ahh.. I think there a lot of broke men that get frustrated and just totally bow out of the entire dating thing. Women, regardless of age can find a man.. Maybe not for a relationship.. But, they can still find interest somewhere
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 07:39 PM

Men often feel this exact way about money though.. Misandry at it's finest? It's downright unbelieve how many middle aged women use words like "he has to make as much as myself or more". How man woman have a height preference too? On avg men certainly value physical attraction, but women absolutely value wealth/income

In 20% of remarriages the man is 10+ yrs older. That's a Pew Research statistic. So, one of 5 remarriages are "problematic".

Expire is rough word. It's more about more desirability. It's not conversative men.. Men universally (on avg) find younger women more appealing. It's no different than saying women (on avg) prefer taller men. Or women on avg prefer men w/ more money (vs. less money). Most women will stick w/ a woman they marry and have a family with. If you're married 20+ yrs, I doubt you have anything to worry about.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 06:50 PM

I think it's more about options. Even if I didn't want a partner, I was to be desired so the option exists. Women are desired at a partner early adult age. They get very used to this.. When that desirability begins to fade, there's a little bit of a temper tantrum going on. Most people think of a life as scaling up.. Meaning, we like to see things getting easier as we age. If you're single as a middle aged woman, you know it's only going to get more and more difficult. As a guy, I can see that r…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 06:44 PM

I don't disagree. But, look at the statistics. Divorced men remarry a woman 10+ yrs younger 20% of the time. 6-9 years younger 18% of the time. Those #'s are by Pew Research (you can google). The average remarriage age was in the 40's.. So, it's extremely apparent that men focus on younger women.. First marriage have extremely small age gaps, I think 2.2yrs). As men get older.. that gap increases and increases till they die. Marriage isn't a one way street either. But, as you referenced, great g…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 06:31 PM

I think it's more mid 20's.. Even late 20's. Even much younger men, 18, find mid 20's most the attractive. 30's and 40's guys the same. I've argued w/ numerous women on this idea and it's difficult to even explain why. It's no different than a woman who has a 6ft+ tall height preference. She'll say she feels "protected", but that man could be physically weak too, makes no difference. Centuries of evolution have wired us to be attracted to certain characteristics. A hundred years in modern civili…

I just saw this thread!! I posted on Askwomen just yesterday. I truly want to understand why women focus on a man's financial status as I can't relate to this in anyway. I only get it to a very limited degree. Many women explained and it made sense to degree.. Some had very very realistic expectations that made sense to me. Others would make blanket statements like "he must make more or less". So, I'd come back and say.. it doesn't make sense.. b/c that means the guy will most likely doing what …

I'm an excessively fit guy. I date very thin women... But, I've often found that really athletic women can be weird. They can often be far more masculine and sometimes they try and get really competitive (no clue why).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
