The thing to remember is that you are always building momentum. Be it complacency or decisive action everything you do builds momentum. You can choose to control it or not, but you're always creating and reenforcing habits.

I'd recommend working out and working on perfecting yourself as the first start. Ignore everything non-essential (work, school, responsibilities) and hone yourself. Exercise and learn to enjoy the process of perfecting yourself and grind away. If anyone asks you about it, tell the truth. Once you get to enjoy the process, work on your mindset (this is probably your biggest limiting factor) and eliminate false limiting beliefs. I have been doing this very thing over the past year and it has fucki…

Honestly, do whatever you were going to do anyway and have fun. Flaking generally happens because you didn't establish enough of reason for her to follow up. Don't sweat it, just keep doing what makes you happy. What makes you happy shouldn't be validation from random girls.

Even if you make a move and get shot down, it's all good (within reason). Make a slight move and if she is interested, escalate. If she isn't interested, move on and have a good time otherwise. Just the expression of emotion and desire itself is a turn on for a lot of girls, so you'd be surprised how well this can work.

What do you have to gain by being dishonest? To both her and yourself, you have to know and be honest about what you want. If you just want to have sex, being open about it will filter out girls who would object. Trust is essential in every relationship (make no mistake, FWB is a relationship, just more casual. That's not to say you should bring it up from the get go. Us guys tend to overthink relationships at the onset, while women tend to do it at a later stage. If you keep an eye on cues she …

This line of thinking takes away some of your inner power (for lack of a better term). If you are looking for external validation, it will be an increasingly elusive target. Doing things for you and pushing yourself for the sake of your own desires is one of the most empowering things you can do. For instance, I achieve things and improve myself for the sake of myself. While losing weight has improved my interactions with other people, I did it (and continue to do it) to better myself. I do enjo…

Honestly, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink it. One thing to consider is that a lot of reddit as a whole seems very centered on self-loathing/deprecation. There's a lot of victim-mindset angst floating around that is pretty toxic. I've actively made a point to avoid this kind of mentality and invest my time in more of an empowerment mentality. That said, labeling the PUA corner as such isn't the best messaging if you want to convey more of a self-help vibe. If seddit we…

Wow man, that's freaking amazing! With the discipline losing that much weight had to have taken, you should be able to do anything. Keep up the good work!

Easy fix for that is to get in shape and take care of yourself. You'd be amazed be the difference in reactions when you look like you care about yourself more. Not trying to be a dick, but I have been doing/working on this over the past couple of months and can see the difference in people's glances. More importantly, I have way more energy.

You should interact with as many people as possible. Note that I said people, because in your situation, it sounds like you should be making friends instead of just looking at it from a hooking up standpoint. This will give you social proof in addition to having people to hang out with. Rush with a frat, join a bunch of co-ed clubs, play intramural sports, etc. Going out a with the focus on hooking up isn't an optimum strategy. Cultivating interests in a wide variety of things and meeting new pe…

It really depends on what you mean by ROI. If the return you're trying to measure is the reason you are "investing", that is an outcome dependent mentality. It won't work in the long run. If you are investing in yourself, and trying to better your own life, you're far more likely to attract girls. Rather than spending money (or time really) on girls, look for ways of cultivating relationships that don't require you to do so. Restrictions breed creativity. If you don't have much to spend, figure …

If you're bartending, remember that they are coming to you. They will come to you. You don't need shit from them and they will try to get stuff (free drinks) from you. They should be hitting on you. Flirt back when it suits you and have fun with it. A buddy of mine works at a wine bar and usually just tells an interested girl when he's getting off, his address and that he'll leave the door unlocked for them. It usually works.

Don't try to prove how clever you are. From my experience (something I used to do too), telling jokes that go over people's heads is a way of demonstrating your "superiority". It's also pretty annoying to most people, because in a social setting, few people want to feel talked down to. As an Englishman, I'm sure you are familiar with William Gladstone and Benjamin Disraeli. A woman who had sat next to each of them at was asked to compare them and her reply was "when I sat next to Gladstone, I fe…

Trick yourself, treat it like a game, see how long you being "normal" takes before you crash and burn... I honestly don't know what will motivate you in this regard. Me? I just try to have fun with it. I'm me and don't feel like putting up the pretense in an effort for them. This is because I'd rather find someone with whom I can be myself with. I've done plenty of sleeping around and juggling multiple girls with whom I keep multiple facades up at all times. It's tiring more than satisfying. I g…

The is likely an inner-game problem on your end. You may be subconsciously sabotaging yourself because you value her (girl you're interested in) opinion about you too much and being too outcome dependent. I certainly understand how it feels, but you have to remember that the difference is in your responses and the vibe you throw off. There's never any pressure to impress. Treat every girl like you aren't that interested in her and you'll see much better results. If you're living your life for yo…

All of those points are rock solid. It's nothing new, but it is phrased well.

Honestly, active reddit users are a VERY small sample of the world's population. It tends to skew towards the types that sit around on the Internet way more than most do. I like the varied responses, but I take them with a grain of salt.

Own your nerdiness. Embrace it and be proud of it and no one will say anything. They'll appreciate you more. Remember when Tyrion was talking to John Snow about wearing your faults like armor. There's a GoT quote that I'm butchering, but it applies.

The question is what do you add to the equation? If you have something to offer, you're adding value. Otherwise, you aren't.

Honestly, if you can learn how to work a crowd, it is surprisingly easy. Learn how to tell a story and make it engrossing. In talking super high energy with hand gestures and an active voice. Make eye contact with everyone there and use your body language to get then invested in the story (nodding, tone, wide arm displays, etc). I prefer stories where I'm more of a misunderstood villain with a one streak, but your mileage may vary.

They are typically more concerned with their friends than the guy. If any of the friends has any objection whatsoever, the girl stands to lose some of her status within the group (by far more important/vital to girls than guys). From my experience, when approaching girls in a group, you have to either sweep the entire group off of their feet or isolate the one you're interested in.

40 days and 40 nights. It's not good, but the whole movie is basically about sexual tension. You won't make it very far past the flower scene.

Honestly, I'd move to the east bay if I couldn't afford more. Moving out of your comfort zone really helps you focus on what you want. If living at your parents house is ideal, do it. By all means, stack chips and wait it out. Play it safe, if that's your goal. Otherwise, be bold. Move to the east bay and go running to the part of town you're going to live in next every morning to remind yourself of what your goals are. Work relentlessly to get what you want and be where you want to be. Become w…

Don't ask for a date. She probably has more than a few guys asking for dates. Set yourself apart and ask if she wants to hang out. Hang out and have fun with her. Treat her like any other girl and let the moments take over. The thing to remember is not to ascribe any added perceived value to interacting with her relative to other girls. If you guys click, it makes this tricky, but don't force it. Just float along with where the moods take you. One thing worth noting is that guys tend to overthin…

Honestly, get four or five more girls' numbers and get more comfortable talking to girls. With your newly improved confidence, you'll be throwing off better vibes and start to see a change in how they respond to you. As far as the girl you like, keep talking to her (and escalating, etc) while you are talking to the other girls. Cultivate multiple options and keep yours open. Don't over think it, just relax and send out great vibes.
