Stay in the house. Stop any digital communication with her. Short phone calls. Nothing else. Lawyer up. Get a man. No female lawyers.

Gabapentin 300 mg for anxiety, Sertraline 100 mg for depression and lamotrigine 100 for mood stabilizer. Went through the same hell. You’ll make it. Be happy again. Don’t forego modern miracle of medicine. I waited for months to start meds. Big mistake. Lastly, get sleep regardless. Just long walks and common sense meals. Therapist mandatory.

In Indiana - which sucks mostly, but unsure how to void the decree I signed already? Seems like this attorney has again failed me. Time to find another it seems. Can you suggest steps to find a new, better legal counsel, please!

I signed the divorce decree/settlement a month ago. Now I realize my female attorney has been rather weak in getting me parenting time, and protecting me finacially. The decree I signed indicates she get the house once is sign, but my name will remain on the mortage. I want to tell my attorney I'm not signing the Quit claim, and I'm not signing the transfer of 18K of my IRA over either. Let the court hold me in contempt - but I have not had a proactive representation and feel sick and tired of t…

Does the divorce decree outline this? Any details about your responsibility.

Certainly you can stop answering her cries. I see this a bit different. Yes, boundaries are critical. If seeing her screws you up for a day or days, then don't see her. Inform her you an help but she has to leave the house while your there? If you want to take the high ride, try to. Doing the next right thing lets you sleep with a clear conscience. So, maybe let her know you'll help if x, y, z. Do things when convenient for you, sacrifices shouldn't happen. Knowing your issues (abandonment) is a…

it is legal in Indiana. My wife put my kid up to it while we were in the car alone driving. My attorney said that recording made from my kid it would be inadmissible in a hearing (hearsay) - but that is only what she has said. We go to hearing in 3 weeks. My kid and I were discussing 'mutual accountability'. Not anything nefarious.

Google Father's divorce rights in ______ (enter your state). Read, and consider any free consultations with the lawyers you find there... Good luck brother. It will get better!

That is just cold. Hang on man. Ask an attorney for some sort of reduced rate, or what sort of long term rates you can get. They offer low balance rates cause they are a law practice and will get it back - it one of the things they do.

Great advice for Indiana. My attorney didn't point out this anemic acceptance in my provisional agreement. (I'm considering getting a new attorney before the final hearing) Now my daughter is enmeshed with Ex, and in actuality I've sought to spend time with my daughter for over a year - alienated by Ex and by the system. Too many missteps to write at the moment. Fine line to figure for the future;, if the daughter grows to hate the time with me - which honestly she seems relaxed and content- whe…
