Why do you think men outnumber women on dating/hookup apps?Men have a much higher sex drive and it's a far larger motivating factor for contacting a great many women and continually attempting to do so. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/05/26 07:11 AM
“Men would love to be sexually objectified”This is a category error. Consent doesn't apply to looking. Obviously leering is unwelcome, and possibly a violation of consent in some cases. (Edit: I mean in PUBLIC places, obviously looking at someone in a place where they would reasonably expect privacy is a gross violation) I'll just straight up make an assertion, a lot of dudes don't mind being sexualised by being looked at. A lot of women too. Even ogled in some limited cases. And I don't know why that can't just be admitted. So I conside… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/04/26 01:35 PM
“Men would love to be sexually objectified”It may or may not be inappropriate, I'm not speaking to that. But can you answer how consent factors into it? Yes or no? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/04/26 11:32 AM
“Men would love to be sexually objectified”That makes no sense. There are acts that require consent and acts that don't. But clear it up for me and tell me how consent factors into a buff dude walking down the beach being ogled. Go for it. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/04/26 10:35 AM
“Men would love to be sexually objectified”"By definition..." - that's not the definition of sexualisation. If you start a premise with busted definitions like this, that's the end of any reasonable debate. And that's a silly idea to apply the concept of "consent" to that. There are acts that require consent, and others that clearly don't (Think hunky guy walking on a beach being viewed at by gasping women, consent isn't a factor). I agree arguments like this are often cited as reasons why women should stop complaining, but that's its ow… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/04/26 12:56 AM
women on reddit are very much part of the problemThe worst place a man can go to for advice on dating, is women. (Except for vaguely giving vibe feedback on what is producing an "ick") | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/02/26 04:48 AM
“Most women are demisexual” is a horribly misinformed statement and shows a lack of understanding of what demisexuality isMeh, looks like a neologism for normal love and emotional bonding. It's unwelcome to my vocabulary, and I suspect society at large doesn't need this category. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/07/25 03:37 PM
Are Situationships for the most part, a result of women not being able to secure men they wish to date?Short answer is yes. More often than not a situationship is just girl-talk for what the redpill call a "plate". | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/03/24 07:26 PM
| – | Men on this sub are probably below average which is why they are strugglingTo me this is the average man who is above the age of 30 Average height or tall Not to be dismissive, but I stopped reading there. The average man is average height. There's some fundamental problems with stats literacy here. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/02/24 12:00 AM |
