To be honest, I always had good experiences with female dentists. They were and are more attentive and clean. Some male dentists even tried to con me. And one of them gave an infection of some kind. Never had an infection in my mouth, so it was definitely this guy's work.

If herd imunuity is achieved, than there is less possibility for the virus to mutate. That's why it's important to vaccinate as many people as possible. Less hosts, less environment for the virus to develop a different culture. Plus some mutation can be beneficial, like loosing it's lethality. From the evolution point of view, that's much better for the virus, because humans won't even fight something non lethal. Disclaimer: I'm not a doctor or immunologist.
