As every lawyer ever would tell you, state clearly and loudly that you aren't consenting to a search and that you aren't answering any of their questions beyond providing ID if you are legally required to (state dependent). But arguing the facts isn't what you do with a cop, just shut the Fuck up and tell it to the judge because the odds you incriminate yourself for something are near 100% - there are so many vehicle/public behavior laws that we all break on a daily basis.

I mean thats how criminal reporting works. The person who reports generally always gets the benefit of the doubt, like as a cop you have to take their word as fact until your investigation proves it wrong. It doesn't mean you charge the person, just that you investigate on the alleged facts of the situation rather than immediately judging it based on what you think/personal biases.

A job isn't the same as a relationship.

If you need to enforce your leadership you aren’t a leader. Leaders lead by consent.

Yep. I always brought mine with me from a box that wasn’t expired and it was always one taken out of the box that day. So many guys keep it in their wallet not knowing that the friction can degrade it overtime depending on how long it’s in there!

This just comes down to personal responsibility. As a man, I take personal responsibility for creating I child when I cum in a woman with no condom on. Its that simple, if you do that, then you are on the hook for the consequences. Teach your nephews this very simple phrase "don't be a fool, wrap your tool". Women get the right to an abortion because they are the ones who take the risk and the burden of 9 months of being a human incubator. Men give up their right to a financial abortion the se…

I would argue it was. In most states you could legally beat your wife without reprecussion (some states even specify the max allowed thickness of the leather belt). You used to be able to violently rape your wife, and that was allowed. It used to be that only men could initiate divorces, that women couldn't have their own bank accounts, that their property automatically becomes their husbands. Men undoubtedly have and do more dangerous jobs, and suffer more for it. But women until recently (in…

I want to add that very few universities allow the student defenders to represent you in a way that a lawyer would. IE adversarially, IIRC Univ. Maryland and a few others are unique in that regard.

I have not one doubt in my mind that Depo was emotionally abusive and probably an all around shitty partner. I also have no doubts that Amber is a physically and emotionally abusive POS. Both people suck, one just sucks about 40% more.

He didn’t get released for that. He undoubtedly raped those women. He got released because a previous prosecutor granted him criminal immunity on the condition he waive 5th amendment rights/cooperate fully in the victims civil trials. He accepted and was given immunity. Then the successor prosecutor/DA illegally revoked that immunity agreement and charged him criminally, he was guilty but the appeals court agreed with Cosby that the government can’t rescind agreements like that when they’ve been…

Are you talking about those troubled kids camps? Yeah those are in need of some serious serious oversight and regulation like an actual medical facility would need.

I think part of this disconnect is the average european/american has never seen such barbaric actions. Our lives don't require that we act like that or even get used to seeing that to survive, few developed nation people really understand exactly how little life/kindness/humanity is valued in those countries. Shits brutal, and we just aren't cut out for that kind of world.

The article was the equivalent of the New Yorker trying to do a nuanced take on chinese military gender dynamics. Its so far off the mark its hilarious. At a high level, when they implemented this test they also increased the weighting it would have on your career progression, essentially creating a system where to be promoted at any MOS your physical fitness was a huge determinant. On its face, great idea. But in application, it led to women who were previously extremely competitive for promo…

LOL dude, in american schools teachers get shit canned for so much as laying a finger on a kid to stop a fight. It's literally a fireable offense in the school district I went to (top 10 biggest in the country and best in my state so not some backwoods yokel with a random policy). They are supposed to call the office/SRO and then try to de-escalate without getting involved physically.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
