I guess he means whether or not you think sex and romance can exist outside of the religious “reasoning”.

Thank you for expressing and explaining yourself. I appreciate it.

I don’t think a man is puffing himself up when all he is doing is placing all his cards on the table.

Why is it that women dress up for a date and not dress down? They are trying to impress the other person as well. I think both of them are sellers and both of them are buyers. Based on what you’ve said, the second someone initiates something they automatically become something, I don’t think so. The reason why people “date” is to get to know each other, and then see if it’s worth taking forward. Both have the right to back away because they are both buyers and they are both sellers. And also I b…

I don’t think it’s about deposits, it’s an investment. And no, I don’t think people expect sex to just fall out, I think people expect sex as a sign of reciprocity from the other person. I find fault when a woman expects a man to invest while she herself isn’t investing into a “relationship” they both seem to want to build. Action with expectations behind them are bad sure, but actions without any sign of reciprocity and signs of it growing into something they both seem to want are worse than th…

I apologize for asking this, but what exactly is your thought? I cannot see it anywhere.

You said only losers see it that way and then say earn your treat like a good doggie. Are the guys not humans? And isn’t treat just another term for reward? I fail to see what you are attempting to say here.

I apologize for jumping into your discussion. In my opinion, sex is as much emotional as it is physical. So if a woman who I like and who “likes” me too(dating but not yet official) has sex with another dude, but made me wait doesn’t imply her investing into the relationship. While I’m investing my emotions, time, at times money as well another person is getting part of her without any investment into her. I would view myself as inferior because the dividends from my investment are going to anot…

Thank for explaining yourself when you didn’t have to. I appreciate it. What you said it absolutely true they are devoid of logic and facts. Your questions felt random hence i said what I said. I apologize for taking your time.

Allow me to explain myself properly. I apologize for not wording all my statements well. Let me start by saying, all your questions are right. What I meant was the person you are commenting to isn’t the one who posted in in that sub nor was she someone who is against gender neutral laws or what not. You have an issue with the post on r / two chromosomes you should explain yourself there and correct their misguided opinions. The person you’ve responded to has just explained what was going on in t…

People on that sub are truly celebrating that they don’t need to marry such men. The person you were responding to just stated that. Also if you don’t explain what is wrong how will those in that shithole understand your plight? You not interacting is only gonna cause more misunderstandings. It’s easy to say what you want to to people who you can comfortably express your opinions with because they understand your reasons, but those in that sub think it’s the worst case scenario which is men supp…

Don’t talk about the numbers here. I think it’s doing disservice to your cause. Genuine victims of both genders are being affected due to this law. Fight for gender neutral laws that will help bring justice to genuine victims. There are so many details that need to be discussed to bring justice to actual victims. So state what you think should be done.

Misplaced anger. Try saying that in r / twoxchromosomes. The person you are responding to hadn’t said anything you’ve said it’s those in that sub who keep saying this shit.

Good question by the way. They are just fucked up in their head, you were very reasonable in your question.

A warrior in a garden. One doesn’t always need muscles to have the warrior spirit. This is my opinion. I am not sure of what pill I am.

0 for low and anything higher for higher. My views are my own, I have never been in a relationship and am a virgin. While I may be desperate for companionship, I strive and hope to be rational. I’ve grown around people who had their firsts with their only partners. I’ve then moved to the States and it’s just insane, it was a huge culture shock to me. I’ve come to realize that what is normal for someone who had been in a relationship and/or had sex is not normal for me. I view things differently …

At least for me, yes. Because I believe attraction can change. People can work together to become attractive for each other.

Purposeful in my opinion is more committed, more “content”, something you know you want to do cause you want to and not because you want to “make a difference”. A person who likes cars may find joy in working with automobiles. Is he making a difference? No, but is he content? Yes. Is he going to be more committed? Maybe. I believe introspection should truly be pushed for. It’s quite a powerful thing in my opinion. Shows you what you are lacking and what you can “fix”. People are afraid to be wit…

I agree with you, meaningful and purposeful discussions are to be had to bring people to the same page. Now, there are different cultures in the world, some not accepting the sexual liberation movements. Now how would you think these discussions of bringing people to the same page would and need to play out? Old days were when people loved their lives purposefully, now it’s just not as prevalent. Do you think this idea of purposeful living should be brought back? In my opinion it should because …

I do agree with what you say, I hadn’t experienced it yet as I’m still very inexperienced (virgin and never had a relationship) but I’ve heard things that prove what you’ve said. People that tend to bring the best out of one another and be selfless in a relationship while putting in effort to take care of themselves as well from time to time had the best marriages and sex lives from what I’ve heard. An interesting thing is these people who I’ve heard it from were all virgins before they met thei…

I agree with everything you said. I would even go further and say looks shouldn’t be that big of a priority, people should be their best selves irrespective of attraction and what not. I don’t mind the hate for this statement. I believe when people take out the sex part away from the relationship and look at it objectively, people will find better partners. Sure most people are more interested in sexual compatibility as well, but focusing on that takes away peoples agency to think straight in my…

I think I am a qualified to answer the question. I’m new here I hope that’s okay with you. Here it goes: As desperate as I may be, I recognize the effects that desire has on people. I would like someone to desire me ideally. Now if someone showed interest in me, I would like to present my best self to that person. The thing is having that opportunity to be able to get there is what makes all this impossible to many. Just like not every man likes the same woman body type, every woman has differen…

I’m new here and I’m inexperienced in every way possible. But I am curious by what you mean by “dangerous levels”. Are you talking about sexlessness, companionship, romance? Can you specify? If I understand it properly, I would say anything more than 30%-40% is dangerous. Even having money would not give you contentment that typical comes from having that loving and fulfilling relationship. So if sexlessness increases in men, their incentives wouldn’t be incentives anymore. This may be off topic…
