7	Why men went MGTOW (details in comments)? I don’t have anything against women, but I feel that relationships are just a waste of time, money and effort. I think this has more to do with the culture where I live than women. I find it very difficult to find someone who shares my interests and values, and who is disciplined enough to turn up to a date on time, reply to my messages promptly etc. If they do exist, they don’t live in my country, where a lot of people I deal with are frustratingly bad at self-discipline and time management. 1	What would be the benefit in settling down? Nothing tangible, in my opinion. Where I live, there is a 1/3 probability of the marriage ending in a divorce. I see that as a very high investment risk. Children are also financially not worth having where I live. It is very expensive to raise them. Children won’t necessarily be useful to you in the future. You might feel good about yourself for raising a child, but little else. Think about all the money you might spend in a relationship and then a marriage. 2	Pursue meaning, not happiness. Sometimes, I feel that happiness is too much to ask nowadays. I would focus on being as productive as possible to maximise your benefit to society.
