This is how the cycle of hate works, and honestly, the only thing we can do is avoid replicating those toxic attitudes that only harm our society. Although we cannot prevent some idiot from continuing to act in that way we can attack those messages and not the one who said it, because if they are attacked they will continue now with a lame excuse and more people will hear it and spread the message

I can say the same about my experience with certain feminist individuals but that's the core of free speech isn't it? Everyone has a voice even if they are stupid, however it is up to us to distinguish between what is worth listening to and which voices we should ignore

the point of this essay was to show gender problems, usually ignored, I wont deny that women's problems are not over but that is already talked about in mainstream media, and to repeat it would be to repeat the same thing that has been said countless times. I think I said it in the essay, I don't want to make women's fight invisible, the examples you gave are all valid reasons to still fighting for a change in our society, I just want our fight to be more talked about and taken seriously

innocent people do not deserve hatred, much less for reasons that they had no control over (in this case their birth sex). If someone says otherwise then that someone is just a hypocrite who does mental gymnastics in order to justify themselves because very deep down they knows it's wrong
