You might be close to an actual piece of shit, especially after your last comment made responding to someone who suffered physical abuse from their father. Do not be with women, and do not have children. You do not deserve either. Full stop. You are an utter and complete sociopath.

Buddy, I can guarantee that my job has more high pressure than many. A good chunk of the population could not do this job. But please, tell us again how my life is cozy and void of pressure? Painting yourself as a clown again 🤡🤡🤡

I would be doing chores proportional to how much of the bills I pay and how much responsibility I have, and even then I would be doing the masculine stuff, not the women stuff. if I pay 50%, I can do 50% of the chores. Yeah, you seem to be contradicting yourself here somehow. Or the way you typed it is unclear. no lol. she is not supposed to consume and waste money. not her money, not my money. no egocentric consumerism. I want a family, I dont want to be a sugar daddy. she is not supposed to be…

Suuuuure buddy, and you’re deflecting on statements you’ve made because you don’t want to acknowledge that you’re being an asshole. Hopefully you grow up one day. See you later

I’m pretty much referring to your entire post history. Take a look if you’ve forgotten. And I have no idea what you’re talking about. I was referring to the fact that there are millions and millions of women who are likely more intelligent, more honest, and more capable than you. Since you seem to think we’re all useless 🤷🏻‍♀️

There is no argument because your arguments are basically just “women suck.” Also, why on earth would we do anything but laugh at a guy that believes “men know more about the world than women” and “women shouldn’t be able to make choices?” You realize that there are millions and millions of women that could run circles around you, a man, right? You also don’t address the fact that you’re probably 21,22 and don’t seem to have a job. Probably not a relationship either. Yet somehow you know everyth…

Because it’s hilarious that you hold these views and tell us all about how worthless women are and how you know more about “life” than we do when you’ve barely even reached adulthood. You’ve got a lot of growing up to do, kid.

What kind of “efforts” do you put in every day? What do you do for work? Please tell us

You’re such an idiot. If women can’t make choices, why do men make up the majority of crimes? I’m talking almost every type of crime. Even the absolutely stupid ones. Tell us about that. What do you do for work? You sound like you should be making decisions for no one

I mean I guess if you’re just one of those “trad men” then it’s fine, as long as you’re going to fund your wife’s trad lifestyle. Dates, shopping, hair, nails, basically whatever she wants… if she’s not going to be working, you better be funding all of that. Not to mention you’d better be nothing short of a perfect gentleman and a man to be looked up to (which your posts show you’re not). And the comparison between “fixing stuff” and “feminine chores” is so ridiculous 😂 if fixing things is the o…

So if she pays 100%, does that mean you’re staying home and doing all the chores, including the “feminine stuff?” What even is the feminine stuff? What are masculine chores??? You’re saying that as soon as you move in with someone you stop doing all the chores you already do on your own?

Really well said. The whole “this is what a real man looks like” shit needs to stop from both sides. Just support people being happy however they want to be happy for goodness sake!

Thing about reality TV is that we know it’s trash and not realistic. We watch it to chuckle at ridiculous people. At least anyone with a brain does.

So I read the article to humor you, and literally everything you post after the link has nothing to do with that study, not to mention it’s full of weird assumptions that I have no idea how you go to. I’m too tired to even try to argue with how silly everything you wrote after that is. This beta male shit is so stupid. But sure, try to tell me and every other woman you know each of us individually better than we know ourselves because you looked at a few google articles.

I think men need a better sense of camaraderie too. I’m not even blaming them, I just think we’re in dire need of that. I think another part of why women appear to not have these issues quite as often is because they’re more likely to seek out social connection and emotional support, whereas men have been conditioned that seeking this is weakness. Not to mention I think men seek connection through activity or “doing things together” whether it’s sports or whatever, rather than simply for the sak…

I don’t actually believe that men were scheming together toward expanding or upholding any kind of patriarchy. In fact I think many are victims to some of the downsides of it without even knowing. We did have many of those institutions and they are crumbling. So we need new ones or men (and women) need to find ways to uphold each other and have a sense of community. I’m not going to pretend it’s easy, but it’s something that our world is going to have to adjust to one way or another. I honestly …

lol women’s movements and LGBTQ movements were met with, and are still met with, SO much contempt. They still did it anyway. Even if there is no movement, men need to be there for each other and lift each other up. Some men complain about things like body positivity, how women are told they’re wonderful, but the thing is, most of it is women supporting EACH OTHER. We’re supportive af.

If he knows that she doesn’t want to have sex before marriage and still continues to be in the relationship, then there’s nothing wrong with it. If she hasn’t told him, then it’s a problem. But you’re reading between the lines way too much. We have nothing else to go off of besides this one tidbit of info.

When you say “status” do you mean socioeconomic status? I’ll play along with the hypothetical. I don’t need them to make six figures, but I want them to have goals/ambitions and be able to take care of themselves. I don’t think that’s an unreasonable expectation for both parties. Ideally I’d like them to have enough money to travel with me because I don’t know if I could afford to cover us both, but it’s no biggie and if I ever make enough to spoil them I absolutely will!

I do? I’ve had/still have plenty of male friends growing up and love them to death. We had a lot of common interests and still do, and love connecting over these things. I have a lot of men that I admire and look up to within my career and outside of it, the same as I do with women. Most of my friend groups are mixed men/women and we all treat each other with respect.

Everyone should want to be like Dolly Parton, that woman is a gem
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 02:52 PM

It all comes down to how we were socialized and the expectations put upon us. I’m mainly just referring to the US. Men have always been told they need to be the provider and were expected to do more physical work because they have more physical strength. While women were told that their strength lies in nurturing others and social skills and that it was a “man’s job” to do the dirty work. But that doesn’t mean that men don’t like caring for others and that women don’t like working with their han…

I think this is nice and I wish people would throw nice compliments at everyone on the reg regardless of gender. I complimented some guy’s sweater the other day and I hope it made his day a little nicer. I’m more on the introverted side and probably wouldn’t fancy a chat if I was busy, but I certainly don’t mind someone tossing a “have a great day” at me.

This 👍🏼 If you are involuntarily celibate/a male virgin, you should no longer label yourself an incel because it is now associated with the types of people you listed. It’s like using a Swastika. Did it always indicate that you were a Nazi? No, it used to be a Chinese/Buddhist symbol. But that’s not what it means anymore.

It isn’t even about their virginity anymore. They started calling themselves that and that label is now tied to their ways of seeing the world, women, etc. It’s sort of become an interchangeable word for “misogynist,” but IMO there’s more specificity to it.

The word “incel” no longer simply means “involuntarily celibate” the same way that Karen is no longer just a name for a woman. The word “incel” is reserved for men who carry specific ideologies or behaviors that separate them from just being male virgins. Being a male virgin isn’t even a prerequisite to being labeled an incel these days. For the record, I also think it’s gross to shame men (or anyone really) for being virgins, the same way I think it’s unnecessary to slutshame.

Lol it’s more likely than not one of those random things. BUT I will say the only reason I may take up 3/4 of the bed is because my boyfriend is warm. So I snuggle up to him. If he scoots away, I scoot toward him. So at some point he’s scooted all the way to the edge and now my side is 3/4 of the bed because I move right up to him in my sleep. But if it’s hot I move as far away as possible

Types wouldn’t be interested in: those who blame others, act hateful, wallow in self-pity, or obsess about their failures or their past failures or things they can’t control. Types I’d be fine with: those who can engage in healthy, thoughtful discussions that can look both inward and outward as to reasons why they may not have been successful

Nope, just cut it off. My ex cheated on me multiple times and I stuck around hoping it would get better. It never did, he kept cheating. Never putting myself through that again. You’ll be paranoid and untrusting the rest of the relationship, not a good place to be. So sorry that happened to you, dude. It’s awful when it happens. Don’t for one second think it’s you at all. Cheaters have something internally broken, man or woman. Do something nice for yourself and remember you’re worth a better pa…

This is oddly specific… Depends on the nature of his arguments, but most likely not. I would find the behavior a little obsessive, and not in a healthy way. It seems like they’d nitpick my behavior way too much and find ways to create problems where there aren’t any. Not to mention it points to the type of insecurity that would cause issues down the road.

I would care that my friends enjoy his company and vice versa. If he didn’t get along with them, I’d find it hard because I want my SO to be involved with my friends. And no, I don’t share text messages or private convos. Every now and then (and in the earlier stages of dating) I may share some concerns I have to get other perspectives because sometimes you don’t see a problem until someone helps you see it in a different light. Their opinion is just something I’ll take into consideration, but i…
