I’ve always found getting/maintaining LTRs to be easy. Unless you’re either a teenager or geriatric, this is a self-contradictory statement. If you’re out of your teens and having to find a long-term relationship repeatedly, then you’re not having great luck keeping one.

Your examples are situations where you get nothing - the whole reason you’re there is absent. Which does answer my question, it’s just an answer that sounds like a caricature of what men are like - “only after one thing” - not a real-world motivation. Obviously you would expect marriage to include sex, and if when you first got married you found out your wife didn’t want to have sex at all, it would make complete sense to me to have the marriage annulled. That would be like ordering a bacon chee…

But if you leave, you’re single - there’s no guarantee you’ll meet someone else you want to have sex with who also wants to have sex with you right away, or at all. Now, if you’re not happy with your life or your relationship in other ways too and hitting the reset button sounds like a fine idea in general, that makes sense to me.
