Absolutely, I have also been on both sides of the coin - I was told and hoped that women grew out of this with age and emotional security but it doesn't seem to be the case, they still chase what makes them feel like they're reaching - as such I don't disclose my position and wealth until the 3rd date, which unfortunately often results in 'i'm going to lock this man down' change over night.
