I don't think you messed up. I think he just didn't want to commit. There isn't much a girl can do if a guy doesn't want to commit. Next time move on straight after you see the lack of willingness. Honestly, it shouldn't take longer than 1 month imo. Not that he should be proposing by then but if you want a serious relationship, the idea of a long term relationship/marriage should be there from day one should you guys click and match on values. A guy who "just wants to see how it goes" is most l…

Many men do want women like you and they'll only settle and start a family with a woman the way you described yourself. However, many men also want to have their cake and eat it. They'll say the problem with society is women who hoe around but they'll take the free sex with such women. It's tough not to. Such men are part of the problem. You need to vet through the men and make sure you go for a man who doesn't contribute to that problem. Someone who won't waste his time with a hoe and then try …

The number one driver to get in a relationship for men is sex. There's other benefits such as the emotional connection and everything else but I speak of the motivation. Hence why men would have sex with women they have no affection towards and feel nothing. Women want the emotional connection and commitment and so on and so forth. They give sex to the person they feel comfortable with and feel they have the above with. Having sex before a man has made that commitment to you sells yourself cheap…

Islam has the perfect balance of how to treat women. You should not be rude or disrespectful to your wife. It teaches you to be gentle with women and playful. Yet, you should know your place as the leader of the house and understand and use the authority you have to protect your family and guide them to what's best for them. You're neither a simp who bends over backwards for your wife, not a tyrant using her and abusing her.

You can very much do that. But you will harm yourself and feel unfulfilled and empty inside. The same way men who pump and dump will feel. You say you want to find a loving husband but this may hurt your chance as P&D will hurt men. You may do this to a man who would've truly been a good husband but you blow it. You're full of vengeance due to your hate of men who P&D and rightfully so. However, do not waste your time and energy. When you find men who are players or F boys just save your time an…

I usually wouldn't comment like this but that man is ridiculous. My wife is a stay at home mum and was a housewife before. There was very little work to do at home before we had kids but I didn't expect her to pay half. That's my job. I covered everything. In return, she was able to cook, clean, take care of herself etc. If a man truly believes he's the leader. He should understand that leaders will often work harder. I expect my wife to give her all to my kids. But I make sure I work harder tha…

I'm definitely not exredpill and definitely believe in traditional roles and we may not see eye to eye on that. However, a man who is irresponsible with his money and gambles it all away and spends it on drugs especially when he's got kids and a partner who depend on him, has no right whatsoever to speak like he's the leader of the house and the woman needs to do this and that for him. I hate when men try to act like Andrew Tate or a "High value man" but they don't put in the work to play that r…

If he offered then it's ok. The fact you're scared to ask tells me you're not a gold digger. If you're worried that it may be out of budget perhaps say something like "what kind of budget do you have in mind because if I could, I'd buy all the skincare products in the world 😅" I'm a guy and I think I'd take that well. It shows you don't want to overburden me and at the same time you can then accept his gift and if he's offering to gift you it's because he wants to.

Can't give my input here but I love that you're taking responsibility and trying to take action. It's rare to find anyone taking responsibility nowadays like we're all victims and I wonder who's the oppresser when we live in a world full of victims 😅

I was thinking it's mental too. Would love to hear OPs response to either confirm or deny some of your potential causes

u/templilwitch makes great points. Also the girlfriend he left because she didn't believe in Christ, surely that's something you ask before you make her a girlfriend if that's a priority in your life. It certainly is the first topic I discuss if I'm looking for a long term relationship. However, if I'm looking to play around, I wouldn't care what the beliefs are. Regarding waiting till marriage. Do it. You've returned to God now and repented for previously going against that. You don't have to g…

That rule is laughable. People ask for advice. If someone shares an opinion it's because they think that's the right thing to do. If I advise someone not to have sex before marriage it's because I think that's better. This whole group is people asking other people what they think the right approach to something is...

Honestly, I don't like giving this kind of advice but I'd never advise any of the women in my life to go back to a man who'd kick them out onto the street. Do you have a place to go that's close by and does he know that? If he's leaving you out on the street then move on. You can't feel safe with such a man. Also as I said in the previous post, if you're having these conversations about the past then that relationship is as good as gone imo.

It's fighting the patriarchy in the sense that they're going against the men in their life that care about them and want to protect them. What I mean is the men that would actually be hurt by them becoming OF girls are the ones who love them. However, every degenerate man out there is happy and celebrates it. They ran from the warm embrace of the males in their family to that of a degenerate pervert male. Great fight 😂 They're lost and confused.

You clearly didn't understand or didn't like what I said and decided to put words in my mouth. My whole point was "just because feminism attained some desired outcomes doesn't mean feminism as a whole was good from the get go". The above is pretty clear from the analogy I gave. Just because the pills gave some desired outcomes such as the symptoms seemingly disappearing, doesn't mean it was the best solution...

Your question seems to be biased or at least seems like you're not completely open to changing your mind on certain points. You want to believe that feminism was necessary and that perhaps it's not anymore. Try to get rid of any preconceived notions and be open to completely change your mind if proof is offered. I'm not saying things were perfect from the get go. However, could it be that feminism was flawed from day one? Could it be that some things needed fixing yet feminism wasn't the right s…

Sex outside of marriage is wrong. That's the reality. It's something that should only be given in such a committed relationship. Forget what people tell you about it's your body and all that. Anyways, this is in the past. It's not good to talk to about your sexual past to your partner nor should you. It's not healthy. For example, if you were married before, should you talk about details of what you did with your ex? Definitely not. It's private and between you and him. Furthermore, talking abou…

Hey, I wish you all the best on your healing journey. It may not be your fault that you went through what you did. However, it's your responsibility towards yourself to ensure you heal so keep up the therapy. However, if your therapist really thinks it's ok for you to have an asexual relationship, I'm not sure they're the right person to speak to. I wonder if she's a blue pill feminist or otherwise. Sex is healthy and extremely important for a healthy relationship. Lack of sex is actually a big …
