It is difficult, I don’t miss cuddling up with them because I know it would be for oxytocin sakes. I’m quite aware about myself with leading chemical decisions, although, I do miss companionship. I make an effort to ask a girl on a platonic date just for company though once a week.

You marry your best friend that’s more than a sex partner, she should be your ride or die. That’s it.

Usually has two of them that are somewhat opposite in personalities. Common. That one would be the only one really impacted.

If they’re older kids then it’s a no brainer. As long as the kids are 18+ or independent it’s a no brainer. You’ve done your job as a caregiver until they’re able to roam around the world themselves. Of course, they’ll still have their parents but after 18 years the accountability is really finished as long as they have their own sense of autonomy and aren’t handicapped. (Pottery Class, Events, Farmers Market, Walking at the Park, etc.) Exercise as much as possible to feel good and release endorphins an…

Grieving process is important. The distortion of reality vs the reality you’ve built inside of your head takes time to reorganize. Your brain has to rewrite all of those synapses.

Sounds like my ex wife. It was miserable. Out and about and loving towards other people. As soon as she came home, sad & tired. Weird thing is… Her mom was like this. So when it ended I was okay accepting that it wasn’t for me. Went to therapy and am doing better since. Definitely trying to date but want to make sure someone has the same values as I do.
