Not scientific but I have noticed it increases even more so when you have children. If I'm out shopping with my daughter I get a lot of glad eye. My guess is that my ability to sire healthy children triggered a natural instinct to mate.

Is there any chance they may not be his? If not then don't worry, he just needs to reassure himself. The thought they may not be his, will be tearing him up, eating away in his conscience. You could tell him all day that he has nothing to worry about but his brain will keep going there. Let him get rid of the voice from his head this way, support him to reassure him. I saw an advert for a UK training scheme to work for the Government..open to people of ethnic minority or women from any ethnicity only. They wonder why men get pissed off. The job is oversubscribed by men because it's a job we're good at, and now we're being told we can't do it and have to stand aside to let someone who probably doesn't want to do the job go in front of us.

Ok, i don't often tell this story. When my daughter was 4 we left her and her 8 year old brother for 1hr with a 15year old boy who was like family to us whilst we and his parents went to set up my daughter's birthday party. I used to have #mensrights on my twitter bio. It was constantly used to silence any debate.. whatever the subject I would get, "says the men's rights activist" and that was it completely shut down. This was even from men, including some very well known senior political figures and journalists.

I made a similar point on r/rant and got a permanent ban for it. The narrative is that we are safe on the streets that only women are in fear of all of us. The reality is we're more likely to be mugged and killed than they are, we also walk in fear at night. The solution should be for more people to be out walking at night rather than making half of us stay in. Safety in numbers. The criminal obviously wouldn't obey the 6pm curfew proposal anyway.
