These are really good points, I simplified a lot: Testosterone comes from dht. Keeping up with haircuts is good idea too. So is confidence and being comfortable. I guess I could see that. I think whatever gets the best results is the one you should go with. I just wouldn't discount shaving your head and growing a beard until you've tried it for 2 months.

It's looks hundreds of times better than a widow's peak or a comb over. I learned this the hard way. If you get comfortable with it, you will be able to carry it off, and it will look good. Adding a beard helps make it look even better.

A few options: You might not need a beard, you might look good with just a bald heard. Try to keep an oval face shape though (strong jawline) by doing jaw exercises or keeping your body fat low. You did really good. One small pointer to pull her number: try to have things to invite her to (mountain hike with your friends Saturday afternoon, or a party at night). Push-pull. If she's interested in you, It means that she sees you as higher value (monetary, physical, and/or social power) than she is.
