Yeah. At least on Tumblr, they shut down hate speech against oppressed groups, even if misandry, racism against white people and cisheterophobia is still common there. Twitter is just a cesspool of hate against all races and groups.

That depends more on a lot of factors. In most cases, yes, I'd say it would still be an abuse of power. However, in high schools teachers generally have far less authority over students than middle schools, so it's less of a clear-cut black-and-white case like with a 14 year old. Regarding the second part, with a 14 year old, the mere fact of being a teacher constitutes abuse of power, regardless if they're 20, 30 or 45. A 15-16 year old is more questionable. The fact that it's a 30 year old teacher abusing their position of power to have intercourse with a 14 year old student. Add to that the fact that the kid was probably traumatised due to how much negative stigma there is surrounding sex in the US, and you've got full blown child abuse. Please point out where I said "illegal". I just said it's rape. Not "legally rape", not "rape according to insert law number here", not even "it's illegal therefore it's true". I just said "It's rape". Because it is, a 30 year old abusing their position of power to have sex with a 14 year old is rape, plain and simple, regardless of law. In fact, if this happened in the UK or the states of Idaho and Georgia, de jure it wouldn't be rape, but de facto it still would be.

No, I don't. It's a question of social norms and context. In Germany and a lot of other European countries, sex is treated as a normal thing; it's not rare to see nudity on TV during daytime, and sex-ed is really good and part of the mandatory curriculum afaik. I know (hope) you're joking, but that's not how it goes. It's a very lengthy process, you have to get diagnosed with gender dysphoria, present as your gender identity for a year, etc, until you can legally get your gender changed.

Bicurious guy here. I honestly don't get the point of gay rights protests or "pride parades". If you have equal rights to straight people, the fuck's the matter? If you don't, then protesting probably isn't going to accomplish anything other than you getting beat up/jailed/gulaged. Honestly no idea why they do it.
