Treated HIV IS not a problem, even treated herpes encephalitis is a problem. I would rather have a HIV than even a 1% risk of a newborn baby getting herpes encephalitis.

Alright so you would have no issues having your girlfriend/yourself giving birth with an untreated herpes infection then, even if its inactive? You go man, because I would be scared shitless of that.

You can transmit herpes despite active outbreak or not, although much better circumstances if you dont have an outbreak. There is a reason you wont be allowed vaginal birth if you have genital herpes, unless you're put on medication before. Leave it untreated and you have a 70% mortality rate with herpes encephalitis. Not everyone gets it, but is it worth the risk? If the baby does survive the neurological outcome is a lifelong problem for many kids https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4…

You are mixing up different locations of herpes now, genital herpes is dangerous for women to have without knowing. If you give birth vaginally you have a high risk of giving the baby herpes which becomes herpes encephalitis. 70% death rate if untreated.

This. If you transmit genital herpes to a random girl and/or your future wife she could end up giving infecting her baby if given birth vaginally, which leads to herpes encephalitis which has a death rate of 70% if untreated. Herpes is no joke. Always inform. Babies doesn't have a closed blood-brain barrier that's why its absolutely horrific and dangerous for a girl to have herpes without knowing it. They should never give birth vaginally

Honestly I still just as before think gym should be a sanctuary where people don't get hit on unless there are signs before, example smiling or checking eachother out and not just making it up yourself in your brain. But that's just my opinion, most people here would probably just recommend you to go for it because you have nothing to lose, just initiate with asking to go inbetween on a certain machine or something.

Like I said in the post, asked here if she lives here to which she replied a city nearby and I replied ah so that's why I don't recognise you and then I took it from here. Then we ended up walking and doing the last exercise together talking about what we work with, how old we are, like standard getting to know eachother questions but with less boring formal interview style.

Yeah fuck that was demotivating lmao. But I get it, and good on you! Real butterfly effect story, minor detail with a big impact.

Hahah yeah I was bummed out when I noticed I was out. She won't be returning to this gym, as I replied to the other guy replying just before you just now. So that sucks.

Yeah sure can do, and the thing is she doesn't normally goto this gym. It's one of a few gyms of the same chain in the city, the only one that allows one to enter without staff through your own key cards so she was left with this option today´. She normally goes to the other gym across the city.

I dunno, may be assumptions from me but in our age (early 20s), dragging out on making contact doesn't feel too common. More of a 30+ thing if that makes sense, probably not. I just assume she wasn't interested and it's okay.

Good on you bro! If you didn't message her you would of been 50 wondering if you guys could of happened without knowing. Atleast now you know, despite it sucking she didn't feel the same way!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
