6	ASK FOR HELP IF YOU NEED IT Truth. When I started meditation I was focused on my pain and how to "fix it" and "get away from it". This is of course analytical meditation and not the emptiness focus on the breath type. When I made a shift to just feeling pain and staying with it and really getting down to the rawness of it I started to use it as motivation and not something to "get away from".
