What's even worse is those types of comments are the ones that get blindly upvoted. Other redditors will interpret it as them doing a good job for sleuthing and relying on tired cliches to own "haters" or someone who dared to go against the hivemind.

Why the fuck do people use ellipsis like they're pausing their speech in real-time? It's like they're trying to add a dramatic tone to what they're saying but it just comes off as forced.

I don't understand why some people think we're no longer considered animals. We have our own set of traits, characteristics, and behaviors that are driven by millions of years of evolution and survival. Yet, for some reason, none of that applies to modern humans? Are we "too smart" to be driven by animal-like instincts? I also don't understand why trying to apply science, statistics, and conventional thinking to explain the human condition automatically makes one an "incel". What's the point of …

I like how her conclusion is "they're intimidated by that." They're not afraid of her hypersexuality, they just know there's no point investing any more time/resources when she's inevitably going to jump ship for the next one. Also, nobody likes hearing you go on and on about your past sex partners. Men and women are put off by that.

Why do they try so hard to promote this stuff? Are they secretly trolling their readers by trotting out these things? I hate how much society endorses obesity as a positive thing. It's unhealthy, that's it. The level of narcissism and mental gymnastics people need to jump through to think this is a good thing is unfathomable.

Contrary to the stereotype associated with the sub, I don't hate women, I just leave them alone. What sucks is people either assume you're gay or secretly misogynist for not blindly drooling over every hot woman that you come across. Is she pretty? Yes. Am I going to waste my time running through the same dialogue exchange we've all heard over and over again? No.

This is what I've been doing. There's a vast library of old media to enjoy and it's generally low cost, too. Very few modern movies appeal to me. There are plenty of old documentaries on youtube. I don't know what music is popular nowadays. The only games that appeal to me are mostly indies and old games I never got to play as a kid. AAA developers just don't seem too interesting anymore.

I don't get why it's considered such a bad thing. Maybe some people are forced to do stuff alone, but there are also people who simply like doing activities by themselves. I'm a solitary person and love going out to see new stuff alone. I don't have to wait or consider other people's schedules or preferences, I just go whenever I want and stay as long as I want. Why do people treat basic shit like cleaning as if it's this impossible thing for men to do? The whole "Durrr men dumb, can't cook/clean." seems ridiculous to me. I grew up learning how to cook, vacuum/mop, and do laundry for myself because my parents were always busy at work. Nobody told me to do it or how, it just seemed pretty straightfoward and basic.

I'd take it further and say modern society and culture (I know, cue we live in a society) have taken us down separate, unreconcilable paths for men and women. As a whole, we've become more materialistic and self-centered. Pop culture and media either make men look stupid/incompetent or as monstrous rapists. Women are being told they can "have it all" and that they can always climb higher. This setting makes guys walk away because engaging (protesting or placating) will only bring trouble for the…

So what's the goal of this stunt? Is there some feminist logic (using the term loosely) that this will somehow help boys understand women or something? It just seems like an excuse for an older woman to expose herself to the underaged. I doubt those boys actually give a crap about w/e lesson they're supposed to be learning and just want a chance to touch butt/tits. Or am I completely wrong and this is some local practice/cultural thing I don't understand?

Why do these idiots repeat the same line over and over like they're speaking in real-time? Do they think it somehow makes their point stronger? The only female majority cast movie that was creative/original was Annihilation (2017). The novel had female majority characters so it made sense and wasn't a forced gender swap. It wasn't as good as everyone praised it to be but it was decent. In terms of visuals and story, it was a nice blend of psychological/body horror and sci-fi. These modern gender swap reboots do not have the same sense of originality. Hollywood has run dry, recycling IPs with "progressive" politics to appeal to what they…

I think normies, in general, are offended by the idea of being content with one's self. For some reason, it is seen as being in denial or insincere. It's impossible to actually enjoy personal development and not conceding to a partner over every little thing. Strangely enough, they applaud women for choosing to be single (ex:Emma Watson's "self-partnered") but will ridicule a man for choosing to do the same thing.

The leaked unused script sounded somewhat decent. However, TFA repeating A New Hope's plot with "Deathstar but bigger" and TLJ being directed by Rian Johnson effectively dragged the sequel trilogy below mediocrity, into abysmal, and beyond redemption. A trilogy that effectively split the fandom and casuals is artificially kept at a high score on garbage sites like rotten tomatoes. Say what you will about the prequels, but at least they were consistent with the OT. A few plotholes but they didn't…

Wouldn't offering solutions lead to a resolution? Venting gets it out but it doesn't solve the issue if it's recurrent. You would just passively sit there doing nothing. Also, offering a solution proves you're listening and trying to be proactive with alleviating their problem. I don't see how that's a bad thing but I guess reason doesn't mean anything anymore.

Seems like a lot of people are coming out as either asexual, bi, or in open relationships. I assume it's still a small percentage of the real-world population, but the sheer magnitude of them on the internet makes it look like it's a growing trend. It doesn't make sense biologically but people are so fixated on the "wholesome" narrative of STEPping up to take care of another man's child. You're essentially promoting his genetic line over your own while he doesn't need to lift a finger. I guess it's not too bad if you have a child of your own but it certainly doesn't help you. I'm not saying one couldn't bond emotionally with a stepchild, but it doesn't make sense from a biological standpoint.

"Wholesome" is the only acceptable response to anything. Many users like to believe they are being positive, neutral, or unbiased. Their answers or opinions are the correct ones. We all fall into this trap, it's how humans think. Upvotes reinforce this notion. You would think after all these blunders they would learn their lesson but I guess they're more interested in spreading the narrative than actually making money. There's something about her face that's just eerie. I think most people would say she's attractive, but I've seen so many just like her that it feels like another copy-paste job. I say the same thing for Asian women who have that plastic surgery that makes them look like Barbie dolls. Every one of them are so concerned with meeting a single beauty standard defined by everyone else that they all end up looking the same.

At first, I didn't have an issue with trans people, it's their life. However, what confused me were those videos where they had children in drag twerking/acting like strippers in front of a cheering audience. It was creepy as fuck and the people applauding it were equally disturbing. I don't think many trans people condone that shit, but the fact that the media does spells disaster for society in the future.

I'm guessing this is either satire or a troll but what's sad is there are people in the world who actually believe and support this kind of thinking as "empowerment".
