I had in mind "her attitude is better" -> "I'll do these errands" as a means of reinforcement. But the more I think about it. It is bullshit either way. My mentality is wrong on that.

I’m already the biggest guy, by far, in my peer group, at my kids school, etc. Yes, there are people bigger than me but most of them are 20 years younger. Size is not the biggest lever for me to pull anymore. Is your motivation to lift to be bigger/better looking than others? Comparison to others is a good motivating factor, I certainly do it myself. But I hope I move beyond that at some point and get motivated elsewhere

"And when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you achieve it." -Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist Often misinterpreted that the "universe" will hand it to you for wishing upon a star. When you want something, you GO and GET IT.

Sometimes it's been longer, what separated this instance was severity. Honestly at this point, I don't really care. She'll deal however she sees fit. I am just trying to be honest about my needs and what I want (in the moments when I do have a grasp on what that is)

Friday evening, I was brushing my teeth and my wife was on way back from the airport after (what I later found out) was a bad day of work travel. I don't place blame on her mood for this, but it was interesting to note. I got a phone call: "Are you going to bed already?" After a short back and forth, I could tell it was not a productive conversation so I declared I wa…
