Wonderful place but too many tourists (don't get me started on the Chinese and their weddings...) in the summer lately, it would be very difficult to live there. Also unfortunately the beaches are not that great due to the volcanic rocks and again the huge number of tourists!

I agree and I'd say that when each gender reverts to its evolutionary advantage things get uncivilized. They shouldn't use their pussy to manipulate and men shouldn't be violent but I would also say that some women can be more clever than others in their manipulation. You're right. I'm almost done with some certification stuff and about to go into a very good career so your advice is very welcome! It's seems to me that, increasingly over the last decades and especially since the 2008 recession, it has become a huge liability to be flaunting signs of material security as the quality of women (and society) has deteriorated. I did a semester abroad in China and had a Chinese gf for a month and a half, quite a down-to-earth cosmopolitan girl. Quite different from your experience, except for the sex part...
