Trump was impeached and stood trial in front of a loaded senate judiciary committee which acquitted him for political gain.

I completely disagree.

Keep believing a moronic reality tv star mate. Maybe look into the evidence yourself before spouting the lies Donald told you.

I mean that’s what we’re agreeing to disagree on. As you are incorrect about this.

That is simply untrue. Listen, I doubt I’ll be able to change your mind, and I know you won’t change mine. How about we agree to disagree?

Russian collusion was not entirely made up, that very suggestion is what made me sceptical of Crowder in that video.

Sorry no, I wasn’t clear. I was asking for examples where CNN made up - by themselves - completely fake news stories. Not when they received inaccurate information and ran with it, or when they pushed a story because of their political bias. Which is what I’ve seen Trump use as his attacks on them. When he banned reporters it wasn’t because they were incorrect it was because he didn’t like the questions they posed to him and dismissed it as fake news (as if was a complete fabrication) not an ina…

Could you link me some examples?

They aren’t fake news, and I’m shocked somebody who is eloquent and intelligent such as yourself could say that. His job and duty to the American people eclipses the right to free speech, just as you wouldn’t say an individual who lied in court was simply exercising their right to free speech - they’d be sent to prison.

Freedom of Speech is not freedom to lie to the American public in a position of elected authority. As soon as that happens he is damaging freedom of information.

Aside from all the non transparency and decrying of negative stories as fake news that is.

No I was simply asking if you were. I never said you did deny it. I’m just curious, because if you aren’t denying it, then you have no new or pertinent point to make.

So you’re denying the assertion that he had banned individuals from his press conferences before?

What on Earth are you cracking on about? It’s easy to prove it’s restriction of information. The President is presenting himself to the press for scrutiny (brilliant) but only the press who he likes and will write about his actions in a favourable manner (not brilliant). Therefore he gives access to some information to only those who he has power and control over and is therefore restricting the flow of information.

How does any of what you just said contradict the idea that it is a restriction of the freedom of information?
/r/PussyPassDenied30/03/20 06:59 AM

If a President is deciding who does or doesn’t have access to his briefings, and only chooses those who will represent the issues entirely in his favour he is restricting freedom of information. If you don’t have a dramatic view of freedom of information you’ll allow it to be compromised as you’re clearly willing to see happen.

Clearly they don’t, there is an American President who denounces news he doesn’t like as fake and refuses to answer questions from reporters he disagrees with. In the United Kingdom the Conservative party refused to allow journalists from the Guardian and Mirror newspapers into their campaign events, only allowing papers which viewed them favourably.

Yeah right wing regimes always allow the freedom of information /s

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
