It is telling that she has pretty much received the exact amount to buy a decent sized house mortgage free in her area. While the state can kick her off unemployment benefits, pretty much the only way they can kick her off housing benefits is if she owns her own home.

Why do women play less in Tennis? All the sports I'm into the women play for the same amount of time as the men. I don't follow racquet sports so much but used to play a bit of squash and badminton when I was younger and can't remember ever seeing or hearing of women playing for shorter times than men.

I - and many other German men - make a point of parking in them. I have been questioned by female users many times, to which I simply ask "are you not against sexism?" Which 99% of the time is accepted. Only had real issues with it once with a parking attendant.

The crazy thing was, certainly in WW2, if you did that you could find yourself allocated as a 'Bevin Boy'. These were those that had joined the draft but were chosen (by means of a draw) to work in jobs such as down the mines rather than join the military. And they took a lot of abuse from the public who labelled them as draft dodgers. Whole towns gained reputations as cowardly simply for sitting on top of coal or having good access to fisheries.

I work in the same town as Matt Taylor, and know the tattooist whose wife made the bloody thing. His shirt may be inappropriate in the US or UK but it sure as hell ain't in a non customer focused job in Darmstadt. I part own a company which employs nurses in the private health sector. What you say may be true for midwifery and senior/disability care but for other forms of nursing it is most certainly a problem.
