My friend dated one of those for like 9 months. They met on Bumble and he moved in a few weeks after their first date. When she realized that he was an abusive loser, she kicked him out and filed a restraining order on his ass. He now lives out in the suburbs with his grandparents.

And if a poly dude appears on the surface to be a man of value, chances are you'll eventually find out that he's abusive. Poly women tend to be mentally unstable, unattractive, unable to support themselves financially, or some combination of those things.

I joined the yoga/burner community in my area and it's full of attractive hippie-types who are in poly relationships. I hate how true this is. It's so hard to find desirable male partners in that community; they're either polyamorous, broke, or both.

He should have checked whether they were new or not if he had any sense. Yep. This was how I confirmed that my ex was cheating. We weren't using condoms and they were manufactured while we were dating. Also: note how pristine or worn-out the wrappers look.

one boomer mother I know is constantly talking about how submissive her sons wife is that he imported from an impoverished country Wow, that's such dehumanizing language. Goods get imported, not people. I hope those are her words and not yours.

Agreed. I liked getting attention from non-creepy men when I was young and insecure**, but I grew out of that in my early 20s. Nowadays, it's more like: Some dude: You're really cute! Me: Yeah, I get that a lot. I already know I'm cute/pretty/whatever. Say something interesting or don't waste my fucking time. Getting attention from women is chill, though (I'm bi.) Women are so much more polite when I tell them I'm not interested, whereas men try harder or get their knickers in a knot. **Actually…

If he's glued to the screen, that's a perfect opportunity to go do your own thing while he does his - I damn sure need my me time. Now if Collette's not getting her back tickles on any day of the week, then she should absolutely dump his ass. Otherwise, Collette should make time for her own hobbies just like her man does.

No dating men with UNTREATED mental health issues FTFY, because ableism is gross. Some problems really are just too much to deal with - especially if you're already dealing with your own, but that doesn't mean that people with mental health issues can't still be good partners. What's important is how up front they are with their issues so that you know what you're getting into and how much of an effort they've made and continue to make to fix their shit. I say this as a woman who's been diagnose…

Guy/Acquaintance: Could you make me some? You: Sure, $10. My PayPal is _________ You see a fuckboy, but I see an opportunity for a side hustle 😂 I know, I know - deleting and blocking is the FDS way - but you can do that when he starts asking you for more than bread. In the meantime.. 🍞🥖➡️💸💵

Getting picked should be mutual, not a zero sum game. A better message would be: Okay, he picked you - but do you pick him? Are YOUR wants and needs being met? Don't let male validation cloud your judgment.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
