You misunderstand what that means. It’s not like you don’t have a “developed” brain before the age of 25, it’s just that certain parts of the brain, and mechanisms are still maturing until about the age of 25. You aren’t a “literal child” from 18-24. Naive, and still learning how to navigate the socio-sexual matrix yes, but thats a lack of experience, not from being incapable. Plus, if that’s your metric, people under the age of 25 should be considered children and have little to no autonomy. Th…

Ah, so men should perform extra emotional labour for women they don’t even know, while women in relationships are burdened by their boyfriend foisting extra emotional labour on then lmaaaaooooooo. On the real though, people should care about each other more.

Idk about all that, but yes most women hold men to standards they themselves do not possess or follow through with. IE Make more money than me, be taller than me, be more confident than me etc etc. Not always a bad thing, just is what it ‘tis

I didn’t say they watched more action movies. YOU said hollywood is curated by men for men, I pointed out that that simply isn’t true, and gave you two obvious examples of hollywood trying to get more women to view their “action” films. Hollywood as a money making entity would be foolish to not market to the most powerful consumer demographic: women. The end all be all for hollywood and any corporation is money, not to cater to mens tastes, thats just a fantasy you’d like to be true. Thanks for …

Because you’re wrong, the only thing you’re right about is super hero movies may be more targeted at men. However, they’ve obviously tried to change that with things like Captain Marvel, or She-Hulk, directly marketing towards women, because women are a much larger and profitable consumer demographic. Why are you so mad that women consume?

Men “relaxing” more does not negate the fact that 83% of consumer buying power is held by women, and because corporations and marketing firms know this, marketing tends to be gynocentric. The most obvious example of this currently is the rise of women plus sized models and stores, leaning into the body positivity market. Over half the population is overweight, and the biggest consumers are women.

maybe women are just less creative, they always go for the low hanging “small dick x”, or virgin/incel. Instead of coming up names, they usually just attack or make fun of the perceived ability or lack there of to get sex, which is ironic.

Women direct 83% of all consumption in the United States in buying power AND influence, and no it’s not just on groceries.

women account for 80+% of consumer spending, if anyones getting marketed to it’s women

I’m on the shorter side at 5’7, so theres been a few times women have made comments about how I’m too short for example. Or straight up just giving you a disgusted look with no words at all. I’ve been straight up laughed at before by a group of girls just for trying to talk to a girl I thought was attractive. Some women just have inflated egos paired with little to no self awareness. These are adult women btw.

I agree with you on that, but I was moreso pointing out, insecure women get a full pass, most men are more than willing to put up with, navigate and support a woman’s insecurities. Women however are quite vocal about their disdain for insecure men, and that they aren’t supposed to be their source of self esteem, but fail to see they rely on those very same men for their own insecurities. I’ve experienced it many times myself, where I am made to soothe her insecurities but as soon as I have a han…

Yes, if you’re a man and you’ve hit on women before you’ve definitely experienced this more than once. Sometimes you don’t even have to hit on them, they just treat you as lesser in the group.

Sounds like you only attract ugly/lazy dudes. Plenty of dudes have skin care/hair care/hygeine routines, and don’t need to gaslight the world with make up.

For real look at pictures of women who do only half their face to show the difference. They look like entirely different people. It’s funny that OP is trying to get men to just completely lie about/cover up their appearance with make up as if that’s what women find attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/22 09:34 PM

Not so much berating or humiliating, but definitely treated like a non-entity or person. A lot of girls have huge egos, and if you aren’t their idea of attractive they view you shooting your shot as an insult to their being.

Because a lot of women view caring about/building up their mate as somehow performing unnecessary “emotional labour” but then expect the emotional labour from their men. It’s the same reason why a lot of women don’t actually like emotionally available men.

That’s a bit sexist don’t you think, infantilizing young women and criminalizing young men

so any guy that tries to get laid =/= screwing people over? Maybe screwing people, but the idea is that he will find women who are also trying to get laid

I think the easiest way to portray how retarded the logic is, is to simply verbalize it: “Listen sweaty, I fucked all those guys NSA because I didn’t care about them or like them very much. But I really like you, so I’m not gonna fuck you so you don’t think I’m a slut, or you’re using me for sex.” Imagine if a dude said that he used to pay for dates all the time, no questions asked. But for you, he makes you split it 50/50 every date because he wants to make sure you’re not a gold digger/using h…

Everyone should bother improving. Sometimes, you have to try and do things for yourself. Example I work out and lift weights primarily for mental health reasons, and so I can do whatever I want to do physicality wise. Better body aesthetics are just a bonus.

So because society reduces men from complex beings to primitive sex pests, they can’t see young men as victims? I think that is also true, especially when it comes to situations like female teachers having affairs with male students. I think that’s a wider symptom of my first sentence of this comment, it seems to be hard for a lot of people to view a man as a victim in any situation, but especially not a sexual one.

Making fun of her for being old is not the same as implying she manipulated the whole relationship in a predatory way ie grooming. It is quite hilarious though I must agree.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/22 11:42 PM

I’m mostly talking about the context of wider society, nobody ever calls older women or cougars groomers for dating younger men. For example, the President of France literally married his high school (think its primary school in Europe? unsure) teacher. Granted, different culture, different standards but you get the point. It’s an interesting read if you research their relationship history.

An interesting aspect of this, is that young men getting with older women is seen in a drastically different light. Which to me implies that young men are considered to have more agency than young women, yet women constantly talk about the reason they like dating older men is because men mature slower.

You seem to have trouble with nuanced and abstract thinking. He isn’t saying a rapist and a protector are the same. He is saying that, in the context of, “masculine aggression”, raping someone would be an evil use of masculine aggression, while protecting someone from a rapist, can still be an aggressive and violent act, but a positive one because he is using his aggression to protect someone else.

A funny aspect of getting out more, you start to realize how socially inept a lot of women are, which creates a whole extra problem. Which is why it’s best to get over the initial hurdle quickly, because you’ll have to deal with a lot of bullshit just dealing with women in general.

Because I was also this way, I’m convinced most guys have simply not tried to talk to women. All you have to do is say hi and not be an inept idiot. It’s not that hard. The thing about being a guy though, is you have to initiate. But once you initiate, the girls who like you will then reciprocate. To me it’s almost always the case of, if you want to sit there and be a victim then do it, you’ll get nowhere. Girls will be able to tell. Or, you can try and engage with women. And you’ll quickly real…

Yeah, it can be really fickle. The concept of “The Ick” it could be anything, but it’s definitely something more primitive in your brain telling you, “nah this ain’t the one” lol.

Yeah, in a way it is stop being a pussy. It’s more nuanced, but if you were to take the advice of don’t let your inner bitch drive you, you’d probably have a better time

Yes, there are many behind the scenes attraction cues that we don’t overtly notice, especially in women. Women even have a more acute sense of smell because of this for example. It’s a huge reason online dating is not ideal. It’s more than just appearance, it’s how you smell (including pheromones, not “smelling good) how your voice sounds, hormone levels. Why you are attracted to someone is a lot more than “hot womban/man.” I have a lot more success talking to real life women than scrolling apps…

Lmao> you can’t answer simple questions and have to deflect by trying to talk about an entirely different subject Point to where I said fathers have no value, you can’t because I said the exact opposite of that a few posts above

My exact words were not that, they were “Why should a man have to?“ and didn’t say ever. In fact I made a clear distinction that this is unmarried couples or flings or whatever for that very reason. And then I said why are men still expected to be the financial support for women despite women being capable of making their own money in current year. Then you proceeded to question the morality of unwilling fathers, yet you have no issue with unwilling mothers getting an abortion. Unwilling being y…

What does that have to do with abortion? If pregnancy is solely the realm of women. Unless you think that men being an integral part of child raising means they should have a say in pregnancy? So according to you, men should have no say or opinion on a woman’s pregnancy, but also should pay for it if the woman in question chooses to have a child instead of getting an abortion? The morality of it is irrelevant. It sounds like You can’t reconcile ideas in your head and are now asking about the mor…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 08:00 PM
1

I do, but that’s irrelevant because men do not have any say in the outcome of a pregnancy, if my body my choice is the precedent. I’m not basing any of this on my own personal feelings, I’m just going with the prevailing politics and what women themselves say on the topic.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 07:29 PM
1

That’s true as well, but why should they have to? Morally, taking care of your own children is noble, but that’s a subjective take. In todays day and age, women largely make their own money, why are men still expected to be the ones to financially support child birth? Since men can’t carry children, their only form of “reproductive rights” would be financial. This of course doesn’t take into account poverty, which I would say is a huge part in why a woman would choose to get an abortion, but tha…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 07:10 PM

Right, that makes sense. I’m just pointing, that because men don’t have the ability to carry children, there is no equivalence to be made biologically. And if it’s about choice, just like women should not be forced to go through a pregnancy they do not want, inversely a man in that situation shouldn’t be forced to then pay for a child they do not want. Like, if a woman gets pregnant in say Colorado she can either abort, have baby, or give it up for adoption. The man has no say in any of that, bu…

I neglected to include that, yes that would be taking accountability, in the interest of giving a child a better shot at life
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 06:41 PM
5

Assuming she’s in an abortion legal state, taking full accountability would be either A) getting an abortion or B) giving birth and financially supporting the child (if not married). Considering body autonomy, the man can’t and shouldn’t force a woman to get an abortion or carry to term, but inversely a woman shouldn’t be able to decide to give birth and then use the state to then force said man into bankrolling the baby she chose to have despite not being able to financially support baby. You c…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 06:35 PM

My only real stance on abortion is, if it’s about body autonomy, then women should be solely accountable and responsible for the child birth, whether that’s electing to get an abortion or carrying to term. Since the man should have no say, he should also have no responsibility. So if she chooses to have the child, the father should then be able to choose to pay child support, or relinquish parental rights and walk away, a financial abortion if you will. Other than that who cares. *in non-married…
