Idk if you’re into edm music but going to a rave solo was probably one of the best experiences I’ve had. I wasn’t on anything, just showed up super early before things got too packed. Had a pack of gum with me and offered it to others and it really helped me start conversations. When I told ppl I was solo they were mostly impressed and super nice and welcomed me to join their group. I think most important is to get your first approach out of the way and just build momentum from there. Nobody is …

Yup totally agree. This is why I kind of hate the saying/advice of “oh you’ll find her when you stop trying to find her” or “she’ll come when you least expect it”. Like I get it, I need to work on myself but when she does come you’re still going to need to know how to talk to her.

Gotta go out and actually practice what you read about. Evaluate what works, why it didn't, try again. Reading can only get you so far, but mindlessly approaching is the same. You gotta actually try to figure out what works for you, what doesn't, and improve.

Not too bad, they had a great ice breaker with people bingo(find a person who plays an instrument, etc.) It was super easy to open girls with hey do you have any thing on my bingo sheet. Afterwards, get to know them and all that. The ratio of guys to girls was expectedly off. As long as you're not awkward and stand off to the side on your phone you can rock these types of events.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
