We need to talk about this as a problem.Everyone should have the freedom to choose their own lifestyle but ultimately these choices are not made in a vacuum and social/economic pressures exist. Both roles are respectable but I believe if you advocate for equality you must advocate for the freedom to subvert these expectations, because they are not for everyone. Ultimately this is an economic issue as single income families are become increasingly infeasible. The whole point of fighting for equality is to do so on all fronts, not just some. Pitting the two against each other is destructive for both causes. Saying « they » are against you disregards the experience of thousands of men.
