Hi everyone, Thank you for the comments so far. We spoke yesterday and in terms of payment, he said we will split everything 50/50. The rent is lower than market price by a couple hundred dollars, but I was a bit shocked as all my savings will go to his mortgage. He said if we weren't together that he wouldn't have a roommate, so he could afford the whole mortgage. I feel a bit upset about this as I find its more fair if I paid a bit less rent and he paid more. As it stands I'll have zero saving…

Thank you! How long did you have your ED for? So the mindful eating has not gone too well 😅. It's very difficult for me, not sure why.. I have cooked but could do more of that. I like the idea of listening to a podcast instead..

My challenge is to eat mindfully. I've been trying for years, and struggled with an eating disorder. I'm over my eating disorder now but still find it extremely difficult to sit down and fully enjoy my meal with no distractions. This year I've achieved a lot of goals and now feel strong enough to focus on this goal.

I gave him a vintage dvd which he'd been eyeing, and which he wanted to buy apparently, so it was a good choice! He was really happy with it. I didn't get anything from him, I said I'd like to speak with him on the phone but he didn't call me in the end. It has upset me a little bit but he doesn't know, because I am learning to not expect anything and be grateful for what he does do. Plus he's visiting his family abroad and been busy with that I'm sure.

Thank you. I feel like I've overreacted, but I thought if he liked me he wouldn't be saying that he isn't sure if it will lead to anywhere serious yet. He says it's because he has a block and finds it hard to open. Today we went for lunch and he brought me my favourite ice cream, and we kept it light and fun.

Haha how come, do you also work in this industry? Any tips? He does editing and also as a hobby makes short movies which he will like to get into a festival. He knows so many movie references it's hard to keep up 😅
