7	Organized crime gangs using DV laws for profit (Spanish) The situation is very scary. Under the current laws, men go to jail automatically if accused, even without evidence. Men can be convicted without evidence- the only evidence required is for the woman to maintain her testimony. There doesn’t need to be any evidence of any kind. The laws only go one way- women’s violence against men isn’t included, and men have much less legal protection.
