It generally doesn't work out. Admittedly, there is a certain comfort and familiarity to that laugh, that body, that good history. There may be a longing for an intact family. From my conversations with divorce attorneys, it falls apart within a couple of years because there were good reasons for the divorce. The times I hear about it actually working out is when at least a decade or more has passed. The people are different than the ones who divorced.

If you go by generalities, women like having babies and raising kids. Men like building shit and taking sometimes dangerous risks. I had to deal with hurricane Ike about nine years ago. Many people in Houston were without power for about three weeks. I had power the whole time due to the fact that my house was next to the Texas Medical Center. I did lose cable/internet for about two days. I did lots of yardwork all day and drank at night. Did the cell phone companies waive data charges? They did in Houston and the surrounding areas till tomorrow or something. Too many people lost their homes.

Maybe, but it sounds like in recorded history in general. That being said, I saw some people from Anguilla (about 15 miles from St. Martin) upload some youtube videos. I don't know. I believe in being fit for the job you were hired to do. Being chubby as you walk through the plane and give people their drinks doesn't seem to be an issue to me. If you were hired to be a stripper and couldn't cut it... or if you were hired to be a fire fighter and couldn't haul 100 pounds of equipment up 10 stories, then sure, fire the person. I would expect the same treatment for anybody, no matter their age, weight, or gender.

I think she was technically well qualified, but she has always been a polarizing figure.
