[Duluth, GA] Which assets are safe during/after a divorce? It’s going to depend on the state and you really should talk to a family law attorney in your state before trying to do something clever. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/04/18 11:27 PM
Found my daughter after 9 years - advice sought...I would suggest waiting until she is a legal adult before contacting her. Her mother shouldn’t have any legal power over you at that point. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/12/17 05:08 AM
Martial property after divorce -Marital property will be different depending on the state. A lot of states that were originally owned by Spain use community property, other states like New York do not. You will need to contact your lawyer. One thing I would stress is that many men feel like they should make things easy on their ex and the child...that they should give the marital property to the ex and walk away. How is that really good for your child? Your ex now has everything and you live in a shitty apartment in a sketchy … | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/11/17 10:52 AM
Separated and paying spousal support AND she's refusing to pay her own car insuranceHold on. Are you legally divorced? It sounded like separation. I don't know the laws in your state, but if she were to get in an accident, the other side may be able to come after you if you aren't legally divorced yet. Consult your attorney before putting yourself in harms way. | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/10/17 04:38 AM
Playing Games with Child CustodyThe judge wouldn't have given you visitation if he thought you actually abused your child. Why didn't you get Thursday overnights as well? | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/10/17 12:05 PM
When to Start Dating?I'd have a lot of crazy NSA sex as soon as possible, but that's me. Do what makes you happy. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/09/17 06:10 PM
can my ex put herself on my insurance?Put her on it to avoid being stuck with an uninsured spouse in case of a major illness or accident. Get divorced. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/09/17 06:08 PM
I feel the need to unfollow this sub.. my divorce was final yesterday after almost 600 days of hell. I suppose I started reading here because I hoped to hear someone worse off than me. That never happened, i have gone through the shit show of a lifetime and the worst part is that it never ends. Some people love to fight. Divorce lawyers are happy to make money from it. What happened that made it take so long? Usually it's because of lots of money, various businesses, and self employment. Another issue is when there are bitter custody battles. | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/09/17 05:41 AM
Reconciliation with your Wife?It generally doesn't work out. Admittedly, there is a certain comfort and familiarity to that laugh, that body, that good history. There may be a longing for an intact family. From my conversations with divorce attorneys, it falls apart within a couple of years because there were good reasons for the divorce. The times I hear about it actually working out is when at least a decade or more has passed. The people are different than the ones who divorced. | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/09/17 05:38 AM
| – | Woman will face for trail for hitting a man who didn't want to have sex with her.I would think so. Many women aren't prosecuted for domestic abuse because of male pride and the fact that we can take a beating better than women. | /r/MensRights | 15/09/17 03:14 AM |
Need opinion on this.If you go by generalities, women like having babies and raising kids. Men like building shit and taking sometimes dangerous risks. We die earlier because of that, but it's in our nature to take the risks that propel the human race. Granted, we are also the ones who get killed doing stupid shit while drunk...risk taking at its finest. | /r/MensRights | 15/09/17 03:13 AM
Let's ask your momI think it is 4th wave. I'm trying to figure it all out. 4th wave is the hate group. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 15/09/17 03:04 AM
Hurricane Irma ObservationsAnd Typhoon Tip was the most powerful cyclone. Hurricane Wilma had the lowest pressure in the atlantic basin. Hurricane Allen had the highest wind speeds in the atlantic basin and so on. It is all what you make of it. Irma was a fucked up storm and the first that we have seen on social media. 185 mph winds are insane. | /r/MGTOW | 14/09/17 08:21 PM
We are changing the world slowly.I'm not going to run my life out of fear of women or the joy of women. At this point, I will do what I want. You are right though. I could get fucked over when I am 60. I could also get run over by a car later this afternoon. | /r/MGTOW | 14/09/17 07:52 PM
We are changing the world slowly.Maybe so. I am anti pussy pass. I am anti crazy feminist bullshit. Actually so is she. She is a divorce attorney and only takes men as clients if she can help it because she hates seeing the system fuck men over. | /r/MGTOW | 14/09/17 07:41 PM
We are changing the world slowly.I have already had it go badly. Look, I was just being honest. I'm not actually here to preach the wonders of a second wife. Granted I was kinda drunk at the time when I posted that shit before. Meh, oh well. | /r/MGTOW | 14/09/17 07:30 PM
Hurricane Irma ObservationsYou would be shocked at how much business the liquor stores do right before the hurricanes. Shocked. | /r/MGTOW | 14/09/17 10:37 AM
Any way to meet MGTOW?I just started posting here after doing some research on the current form of feminism...4th wave. It is actually a hate group. I honestly don't know how any of those people will be able to reproduce as they hate men that much. They even hate MtF transgender people and gay men. Anyway, I think if you really want to find men that are going their own way, you should look at fishing clubs, hunting clubs and the like. At some point, pussy power is over and men just want to have fun. They may still li… | /r/MGTOW | 14/09/17 09:12 AM
Hurricane Irma ObservationsI had to deal with hurricane Ike about nine years ago. Many people in Houston were without power for about three weeks. I had power the whole time due to the fact that my house was next to the Texas Medical Center. I did lose cable/internet for about two days. I did lots of yardwork all day and drank at night. Did the cell phone companies waive data charges? They did in Houston and the surrounding areas till tomorrow or something. Too many people lost their homes. | /r/MGTOW | 14/09/17 09:07 AM
Hurricane Irma ObservationsMaybe, but it sounds like in recorded history in general. That being said, I saw some people from Anguilla (about 15 miles from St. Martin) upload some youtube videos. When it hit there is was absolutely fucking terrifying...and I have been in the eye of a cat 3 before, but holy fucking shit. That was absolutely horrible. I hope the people were still able to stay in their house after. I've sailed all over those islands in a 40' boat. I can't fully explain on reddit how fucking bad that thing was… | /r/MGTOW | 14/09/17 08:58 AM
We are changing the world slowly.MGTOW as an acronym reminds me of how we won't change the world but we will make older women miserable. Older single men get to a point where they don't have to deal with their ex wives anymore and don't have to deal with women all that much. Sure, they like sex, but they like hanging out with their buds, drinking beer and fishing on the weekend more, even if they have shitloads of money. So the pussy power of a 55 year old woman is nothing. The men went their own way. They don't care about ass,… | /r/MGTOW | 14/09/17 08:28 AM
I want to love somebody so bad!Is this a joke? I'm sure that many people want to be loved. Why did you post this here? | /r/MGTOW | 14/09/17 08:21 AM
Too fat to flyI don't know. I believe in being fit for the job you were hired to do. Being chubby as you walk through the plane and give people their drinks doesn't seem to be an issue to me. If you were hired to be a stripper and couldn't cut it... or if you were hired to be a fire fighter and couldn't haul 100 pounds of equipment up 10 stories, then sure, fire the person. I would expect the same treatment for anybody, no matter their age, weight, or gender. | /r/MGTOW | 14/09/17 08:20 AM
| -2 | Watching HR Clinton evoke sexual discrimination for her failures is a cringe inducing nightmare of embarrassment.I think she was technically well qualified, but she has always been a polarizing figure. As Colon Powell put it in some leaked emails, he would rather not vote for her and she screws up everything she touches, but given a choice between her and trump... Anyway, I am not trying to start a political argument here. She ran a boring traditional campaign and assumed the presidency was hers. Her staff fucked up. I am not a democrat, but I think she would have been better than what we got. | /r/MGTOW | 14/09/17 08:14 AM |
Hurricane Irma ObservationsYou were not hit by the biggest storm in recorded history. It hit as a cat 4. I live in Texas and we just got a cat 4 too plus 50 inches of rain. But the real problem is lack of booze. When you are starting to bunker down for the storm, when the storm is overhead, and when the power is out and there is nothing else to do, you have to have cash, bottled water, guns, and most importantly....booze. I shit you not. I was in a hurricane that hit houston in 2008 and the only thing near me that was ope… | /r/MGTOW | 14/09/17 08:06 AM
If women ruled the world, there would be no wars...right guys?Without going too much into politics, I believe Russia thought that Hillary would be more of a pain in their side in terms of aggression than Trump. So I don't think that women wouldn't start wars. (I'm really not trying to get into a political debate...I voted for a third party anyway.) | /r/MGTOW | 14/09/17 07:59 AM
Male equivalent to 4th wave radical feminismI try to read up on feminism to argue effectively. 4th wave is actually a fucking hate group. They only get away with it because they are women. | /r/MensRights | 14/09/17 01:48 AM
Male equivalent to 4th wave radical feminismWhat does MGTOW stand for? I have seen the sub, but don't know the acronym. | /r/MensRights | 14/09/17 01:44 AM
CNN piece says Betsy DeVos is right about campus sexual assault policy.Well actually I'm a lawyer (not criminal) and I have some criminal defense attorney friends. When you get down to it, generally the prosecutors want to pick cases they can win. The criminal defense attorneys also have a jaded attitude about the ever evolving bullshit of consent. Everybody, including the criminal defense attorneys, wants the guy who jumps out of the bushes with a knife on the jogging trail to go to jail. The issue that plagues college campuses is drunk sex. In the real world, we … | /r/MensRights | 14/09/17 01:43 AM
Male equivalent to 4th wave radical feminismRed pill can't compare. I think a lot of them are players or wannabe players. I don't see much on actually wanting to go to war or suppress women. They just want to fuck as many as they can. About the closest thing I can think of in real life is the Taliban. But they have all that tribal and religious bullshit. | /r/MensRights | 13/09/17 11:28 PM
CNN piece says Betsy DeVos is right about campus sexual assault policy.I fear for what this cultural shift has done to America. I'd rather be on trial for rape with an all female jury of women in their 40's than a mixed jury of all 23 year olds. Well, I'd rather not be on trial for anything. | /r/MensRights | 13/09/17 11:02 PM
CNN piece says Betsy DeVos is right about campus sexual assault policy.Fair enough. I guess I started seeing a swing that direction prior to whatever Obama did. Either way, it wasn't right. | /r/MensRights | 13/09/17 07:58 PM
CNN piece says Betsy DeVos is right about campus sexual assault policy. It doesn't change the state laws. The standards for getting expelled have diverged considerably from the standards for criminal prosecution and conviction. | /r/MensRights | 13/09/17 07:10 PM
CNN piece says Betsy DeVos is right about campus sexual assault policy. While my fiancé is on the far left, as attorney, she agrees with a need for the campus assault to swing back towards an alignment with criminal laws. We believe that due to the nature of inexperienced drinkers, colleges got tired of dealing with drunk idiots not understanding how to read people or knowing when too much alcohol was too much. They became to put harsh rules into place. Now I read on r/sex about distraught 19 year olds that think they might have raped a girl because they had sex whe… | /r/MensRights | 13/09/17 06:00 PM
