Sorry I didn't mean for this to get off topic. But it seems like it's just as describe everyone wants to be a victim because it's treated like a privilege. Stupid mentality to romanticise suffering.

my rage talking, not my logic. FRA criminals should spend a percentage of a true rape criminals sentence in prison. When they get out they out they should be kept away from males with a sort of reverse order of protection. This guy should press charges and warn Luke out of XY responsibility.

Sharing an opinion that follows logically is a top fear for feminists, as big as not backing down. Banned. Reddit is becoming a "safe space."

I'm so glad there is a transcript! Now I can quote it, APA-style even! Hmmm.... one could also argue that the BLM movement also has ear-markings of a VMD.

Why can't the judge deny a guilty plea after reviewing the circumstances of the case and a the actual plea details?

Not a legal expert, but my question to one would be: Couldn't the boy's family also file a warrant against the girl, even at this point? Just because he pleads guilty to an act of sexual misconduct doesn't mean he also can't ask for justice for the misconduct against himself... or is there some twisted rationale to the contrary?

the either/or conundrum is one between hedonism and responsibility. I don't think that fits when choosing between career and family. in fact since both of those things can be both rewarding and filled with duty they can both exist at the same time. that being said I like how the author of this article highlights the irrational perspective that fuels this age of entitlement we find ourselves in. the one that says "the world should make it possible for me to get what I want without any sacrifice o…

Positive publicity in pro-feminist articles comes across as more as a pat on the head than a pat on the back.

I ended up ghosting a few after I made major life changes as well. It's kind of necessary for you to complete your transition. You can't be who you want to be if you don't stop being who you are. And if you're just surrounded by past reminders and influences, old ties, etc. That makes it harder. An extreme example is how can a junkie stop if he still hangs around his crackhead buddies.

Hillary, like many other politicians, is about appearances. Feminism has become without cease increasingly unpopular even amongst young women. So that's not a good look for Hillary, but it's a look she isn't shaking. I also feel many Sanders supporters are going to jump ship to the Trump camp as he is supposed to be the candidate with the most swing votes. If those things weren't bad enough, don't you think that a person who can't tell which information looks sensitive vs which doesn't isn't fit…

Problem not solved. As the original poster mentioned there no reasonable expectation of privacy in a public place, like a beach. This video needs to become more public.
